Chapter 22
Milarite (bluedragoncalcite)
I walked down the street, looking a few meters off my feet.
I gazed, not wanting to laze.
Rubble spread on the road, and it would take trucks too load.
I stopped, not because I heard a rap, but because something I shouldn't bother thinking.
I looked at my hands, trying to examine the piece of land.
I crouched down, and as expected, I didn't see a gown.
I placed my hands and touched the land, and studied its properties and its parties.
My vision went further, and I can sense further. My sense dug deeper towards the Nether.
I managed to observe rock formations and fossils, but I think I sensed something worse than ISIL...
I was like, wait what?
From the corners of my vision, I sensed quartz that block my mission. Which I found strange; something like that blocks my range.
I went further in depth, and I examined the depths. I could sense chemicals, but not radicals.
Thoughts flooded my brain as I sensed brains. Not just any brains...
From the ground, the blocks are telling me that something is inbound. It tells me that two lives are under the ground.
I also detected ice and fire, and guessed it was Persephone and Athaliah because blocks aren't liars.
Then, blocks are telling me that they sense danger. And if we don't do something, we'd be in anger...
I have to tell the others, because my senses bother.

Persephone
"Are you freaking serious?!" I exclaimed. "You injected that chemical?!"
"We were trying to help Minecraftia! Believe it or not!" Miss Uchiha snapped.
"Okay. Well, how is she supposed to help Minecraftia with her state now?!" I challenged her.
She sighed, "I would explain if you would just listen!"
I groaned. I really wouldn't want to listen to what she has to say, but what am I supposed to do?
"We managed to get our hands on a bunch of mind-controlled Projects," she started.
"Mind-controlled?" I repeated.
"It is what the government uses to initiate Operation Lightning."
I summarized what she said. The government mind-controlling Projects. What else?
The director continued, "And in order for the government to control the Projects, they have planted a certain device on every Projects' brain, even before the Operation began."
So they have planted a mind-controlling device on my mind... Great.
"However, in order to trigger the device in your heads, the government has to abduct Projects and inject a certain chemical."
...wait, so that means...
"And that exact same thing happened to Project Phoenix," she stated.
I grabbed her neck and stared angrily at her, "WHY. WOULD. YOU. DO. THAT. TO. HER?!"
"Calm down!"
I hesitantly let go of her, even though I clearly didn't want to.
"My assistant did it by accident, alright?!" she snapped.
"But why, out of all chemicals, confuse that certain chemical?!"
"Like I said; she did it by accident."
I really wanted to punch the Nether out of her if she wasn't the East Minecraftian Director.
"We were trying to inject another chemical. A chemical that BukkiTech secretly developed for me to shut the device down, so we could prevent Projects from being controlled."
"And you were trying to inject that to Athaliah?" I concluded.
"Yes."
"I have two questions. First, why would Athaliah, out of all Projects in existence, get chosen to be injected?" I asked her.
"Because she's nearly close to discovering the extent of her power," she simply answered.
"What do you mean?"
"In shorter terms, she's an A-classified Project. And you are too," she told me.
"A-classified Projects?"
"In more shorter terms, Alphas. It is a term coined by the government that refers to any Projects that are nearly close to being uncontrollable or discovering the extent of their power," she answered like what a Craftingpedia website would say.
...wait, so I'm an Alpha...?
Everything made more sense now as her answers cleared more of the fog that shrouded the mystery.
"And the government a.k.a. the President, are after Alphas like you and Athaliah," she added.
"What's the difference between Alphas and normal Projects?"
"The difference is that Alphas are more stronger and can use their powers to its extent."
That... actually made more sense. The government are controlling Projects, but they are trying to get Alphas to their side so the government could take over the world!
"However, any Project can turn into Alphas if they discover their true power," she added.
"Miss Uchiha, I'm missing one more puzzle piece to solve the mystery," I told her.
"Spill it," she said.
"Why are you doing this?" I asked her.
"Because the President only wants more power, and wants to see his people in terror. He is only a fearless, bloodthirsty dictator. And I felt like I needed to do something. My people didn't elect me as a Director without a reason," she explained.
"At a time like this, there was no one who could stand up against the President. If I didn't and just let chaos happen in my home region, who would become fearless and stand up for what is right?"
I felt like my jaw dropped.
"So I escaped Shenzen and escaped out of the President's hands for good. I stayed here with BukkiTech, to develop plans to overthrow him."
"But why would you abduct us and inject that chemical to Athaliah?" I asked her.
"Because I do not want the government to get their hands on you. We wanted to inject that other chemical so you would be invincible to their mind-controlling power. But we failed. We injected the wrong chemical, and..." she trailed off as her eyes widened.
I turned to where she was looking and saw Athaliah standing up, looking fine as ever. However, there's something strange with her eyes...
As far as I remember, Athaliah's eyes aren't glowing blue.
I heard the Director curse as she exclaimed, "We gotta stop her from wreaking havoc! She's under government control now!"
As soon as she said that, Athaliah turned to a phoenix within one second and blasted off the roof.
Oh crap.
"We GOTTA GO!"
"Why should I trust you?!" I blurted out.
"Do you really want the President to enslave Minecraftia?!" She snapped.
I paused and realized the truth.
Athaliah didn't want the world to experience what she experienced. To feel like we are being hunted all through our lives until our bodies are nothing but ash. She didn't want war, and if it means fighting for the good cause, she'll fight.
She knew that she has to be the hero. I mean, if she didn't become the hero, who will? If not now, when?
I must fight for the good cause. I must become the hero, because no one else will if I just sat around.
"Okay, let's go!" I answered as we ran, in hopes of saving Minecraftia from an endangerment.
Athaliah, please hold on... for I'm coming...

Publishing this a day earlier cuz reasons
Yay.
I have exams next week. Does that mean I'll put this book on hold?
Most likely not.
I have already pre-written two or three chapters ahead, so writing them will not be a problem.
EDIT: I have actually pre-written one chapter ahead by the time I was publishing this. I'll still try to write, but eh
So, all I have to do is get my phone, connect, and tap that publish button.
That is, unless my phone was confiscated. Then there'll be no updates for next week.
So, next chapter will probably be up at March 1, 2017.
Pretty great start for March, eh?
There'll be no fun facts, except that there'll be less comedy now, because the rest of the story will be... let's put it seriously.
Thanks for reading! And please don't forget to vote, comment, and follow! All of those will be greatly appreciated!
