Before I start anything, I've been doing a mistake that I didn't notice until now throughout the entire book!

I FORGOT THAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE MILARITE, NOT ZIOSITE!!!

sorry if I seem crazy there, but I'm serious.

Ziosite is supposed to be Milarite.

So I gotta edit the previous chapters and change the name "Ziosite" to "Milarite".

EDIT 3/29/17 - I already changed the previous chapters, so you don't have to worry about it anymore.

So from now on, we call Dagger's (or bluedragoncalcite)'s character Milarite.

So prepare for a surprisingly long chapter ^.^

'kay, Nev is being rude today.

But I have to admit, that ship has to RISE! Yes...

I then looked around to see who's here. There's that couple having their time on their bed, there's Milarite standing on the corner, watching the window, Persephone technically looks like a guard because she's standing near the door, and Storm is just watching the television in the hotel room.

That meant that the only ones not here are Jay and Athaliah. I knew Jay was communicating with Sir Blaise on the ground floor, so...

Of course, Jay is outside because apparently, he looked the most "normal" out of the group and because he can speak East Minecraftian language as well.

All I understand was "Ching chang chong chong cheng ching" and yada-yada-yada.

'kay, well, Athaliah is not in this room.

...wait, don't tell me Athaliah showed herself to the public...

I sighed... That sneaky owl...

I went past Persephone and saw Athaliah by the balcony.

Whew... I though she was sneaking out...

I examined her a bit more.

She's having a me-time in the balcony, and I probably shouldn't disturb her or else she'll give me that death glare.

I was about to walk back to the boy's room when a wild Jay has appeared.

Just kidding. He's not wild, and he's not a Pokémon, and he didn't literally teleport right in front of me. He appeared in the elevator.

Jay walked into the boy's room, but seeing how no one is there, he went to the girl's room (or in this case, everyone's room). I decided to go in as well.

"Jay, were you able to contact Sir Blaise?" Lion asked.

Wait, Nev should be the one asking 'coz she's the leader.

"Wait, Athaliah is still not here," Persephone pointed out.

"Well, now I'm here."

We heard the voice. We looked at the doorway. It was Athaliah.

Persephone sighed, "I stand corrected..."

"So, what's the news?" Storm asked.

"You literally were watching the news, Storm," I reminded her.

Storm scratched her head, "No, not that."

"...wait, may I do the honors?" Athaliah requested.

"Umm... sure...?" Nev replied.

Athaliah sighed, then asked, "So, did you communicate with Sir Blaise?"

Lion face-palmed, "I literally said that."

"Really?" I asked Athaliah.

"...yes."

I then gave her a weak, gay slap.

Okay, now she's giving me that death glare... My second worst nightmare...!

Athaliah then gave me a birch slap.

I expected a #ThugLife music but there wasn't.

...wait, that was not a slap. It's a smack.

I felt her fingers land hard on my right cheek as I literally was knocked off-balance.

Ouch...

"Hah!" Athaliah laughed.

"And this, is why you should never slap someone, especially someone like her," Storm commented as she gestured at Athaliah.

Point stolen... I mean, taken.

"That was one Nether of a slap, everyone..." Nev jumped in.

I stood up, realizing how hard she could slap. Heck, maybe one day, she could smack an Iron Golem from here to the furthest point in West Minecraftia!

"Can't we just let Jay announce the news? This is getting long enough..." I told them.

Lion wiggled his eyebrows, "I really hope you're not referring to the thing..."

"Oh, shut up."

Jay then cleared his throat, then announced, "I did make contact with Sir Blaise... But he said that the government is going all-out against us Projects."

"Not surprised," Lion commented.

"So, he said that we shouldn't be doing missions or else we'll get in trouble."

Wait... no missions... that's a first.

"All he said was to resist and if we could, we could try and get to a more secluded place," he continued.

"Getting out of here is a suicide mission though. The government is literally right at every corner," Storm pointed out.

"We are all dead before we could even reach the outskirts of the city," Lion added.

"But we all know that Jay usually doesn't get classified as a Project because he looks the most "normal" out of the eight of us," Storm continued.

"And he could speak East Minecraftian too..." I added.

"But what's the actual point of staying here anyway?" Lion asked.

"That's actually a good question..." I commented.

"North Minecraftia has the most amount of Projects in the entire region. They'd most likely manhunt there first," Storm said. I wondered where did she get all the facts from...

"But we never know what they have in store..." Nev spoke up.

As if a reply to what she said, a shuriken blasted through the window, causing it to shatter to pieces.

...wait, why are ninjas attacking us now...?

The shuriken ignited for a few seconds, then exploded, its force knocking us out of our feet and the high amount of decibels pierced our ears as smoke covered our eyes and nose.

Thankfully, no one was within the radius of the blast.

The blast had left a hole the unites this floor and the floor downstairs together.

"We gotta get out of here, now!" I barely heard a male voice say.

As much as I would like to lay in bed, I stood up, and saw what's behind the smoke.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing right now...

I saw three identical figures with long, dark red hair, with a gray vest on top of a black long-sleeved T-shirt, dark blue leggings, and white boots with light blue edges.

What's shocking is that their eyes are shining blue.

Pretty much like Nev in appearance, but with different colors.

I teleported behind one of them (I knew the coordinates), and tried to snap the neck, but she tried to stab me with her dagger, so I had to dodge.

I kicked her as high as her head, and she tried to knock me down to the hole using her elbows.

I saw the group came to help me with two more threats.

I kicked her, this time straight in the chest, as she was knocked further down as I saw Milarite help me. With her oddly-shaped shield, she pushed the girl off the shattered window.

I then saw Persephone and Athaliah finish off the second one.

Nev and Lion killed the third one together... wait, I did not ask for this.

When I thought we're done, more Projects were flying towards us...

Wait, Projects never attacked us before...

And strangely, they all had shining blue eyes.

Narrator

When eight Projects landed into action, Team Olympus got ready to combat their enemies.

Persephone gripped her ice katana as the Project attacked with his ninja sword. Persephone knew that she was facing a ninja Project as she blocked.

* * * * *

Ray teleported to another Project before it could even go near the team. He punched the face of the Project as the Project kneed Ray's stomach as he winced in pain.

Ray knew that he was fighting a Kung Fu Project.

* * * * *

Nev flew out of the window to face a Project with wings and three legs. She shot her shards as the Project charged with her wings.

Nev flew out of the way as she realized she's facing a samjogo Project (a samjogo is a bird with three legs that originated in Korea. It's not real, though).

* * * * *

Storm didn't need to block attacks, but she was having trouble attacking a Project that's floating while meditating while surrounded with an invisible orb. Everytime she attacks, she was countered by a painful zap.

Storm swore that she saw Project Zen.

* * * * *

Lion injected a potion to his claws as he watched them shine. He then charged to a fierce-looking panda Project.

He looked at his other enemies. Somehow, these Projects are all based on Asian culture, although he didn't know what "Asian" is (no racism intended).

* * * * *

Jay whipped out his diamond sword. But before he could even charge, a Project in a samurai armor charged at him. He blocked.

Jay swung, but the samurai dodged. The samurai slashed, but Jay dodged.

Jay was unclear if he wins his battle or not, but he decided not to get help anyway.

* * * * *

Athaliah released her iron broadsword as she slashed at a Project in an orange monk suit. The monk blocked it using his bare hands and tried to punch Athaliah. Athaliah then dodged the punch and tried to land another hit on the monk.

The monk then dodged and smacked with his left fist, but Athaliah blocked it with her sword, shockingly left no injuries to the monk.

* * * * *

Milarite detached a sword from her shield and charged against a Japanese Project wearing a military fatigue from World War II with a rifle.

The soldier tried to fire against Milarite but she managed to block it with her oddly shaped shield.

Milarite then knocked the soldier off his feet and kicked him by his side. Before she could even stab him, the soldier rolled out of the way and stood up.

The soldier fired a few shots against Milarite, but she blocked it again with her shield.

Milarite charged against the soldier using her shield and pinned him down against the wall.

Before she could stab him again, she got pushed off by the soldier, and this time it was Milarite pinned down to the floor.

The soldier held her by her neck, and pointed his rifle at her head. Milarite grabbed one of her throwing daggers and swiped the gun off his hand.

Milarite then kneed the soldier and pushed him off her. They rolled, and the Milarite was on the top of her enemy this time.

With her furious expression at her face, she gripped on her sword and stabbed the soldier right at his face.

* * * * *

Ray never got the chance to look at others as he was too busy fighting for his life.

The Project punched Ray at his face, but Ray blocked it.

Ray then kicked him off at his stomach, but the Project blocked it with his two hands and countered his attack.

Ray teleported out of the way and appeared behind him, his wrists wrapped around his neck and tried to choke him.

The Project then struggled and tried to attack Ray, but as he tried, the force gripping on his neck got stronger as his air decreased to its limits.

"Ez," Ray commented as he dropped the Project, which was now a body, onto the floor.

* * * * *

Lion swiped against the panda, but the panda countered his attack. Neither landed a hit as they battled with each other.

The panda finally landed a hit as he swiped using its claws.

That injured Lion's left arm as he landed a strike against the panda's right arm. Both of them winced in pain as Lion kicked the panda, causing it to get knocked a few blocks away.

Lion grabbed a bow and notched three arrows, despite his left arm being in pain.

He then let it go...

One arrow pierced the panda's guts as its eyes no longer gave its glow, and went limp as it dropped to the floor.

* * * * *

Persephone went 1v1 as both of them slashed and blocked and dodged.

Persephone swiped her ice katana, but the ninja blocked it. The ninja then tried to hack into her organs, but Persephone dodged it.

Suddenly, the ninja threw something on the ground and caused an outburst of smoke.

"I hate smoke grenades..." Persephone muttered.

Persephone looked at every corner, but all she could see was white smoke entering her eyes.

She tightened her grip on her katana, but she knew that didn't help. She realized that she has to expect the unexpected.

All of a sudden, she felt her grip on the katana get lost as it got knocked off her hands. Then something grabbed her by the neck.

She felt something sharp touch her neck as the smoke cleared, allowing her to see clearly again.

What came in front of her was Milarite pointing a rifle against me or the ninja.

"If you shoot, I'll make her go bye-bye!" The ninja threatened.

At this point, Persephone realized that she was held hostage.

Milarite's eyes went far and wide, as if she was triple-checking everything.

But then she didn't have to shoot.

Ray teleported behind the ninja and smacked him down.

Persephone recovered and pushed the ninja off the cracked window.

The ninja threw a shuriken as he fell off the building.

The shuriken landed on Persephone's right shoulder.

Persephone winced in pain as she quickly removed the shuriken, revealing a wound.

"Oh my Notch! Persephone, you okay?" Ray teleported over to her.

"How am I supposed to know?" She sarcastically replied.

Over the window, she saw Nev and another Project fighting in mid-air.

* * * * *

Storm was having trouble getting to the meditating Project who kept summoning lightning. Storm had to dodge the lightning.

"Can someone help me over here?!"

Milarite came with her rifle. She took her time observing her surroundings.

"Milarite... just help me kill this guy!" Storm panicked.

However, all the panic stopped when Milarite shot one bullet against the meditating Project, and the Project went limp as it fell from mid-air.

"Oh, wow," Storm exclaimed.

* * * * *

BANG!

Athaliah hearing the gunshot shook her up and swiped against the monk, but the monk just kept blocking her hits using his bare hands.

Athaliah sighed. She knew that she had to fight fire with fire.

She dropped her iron broadsword and punched the monk. But the monk blocked it as if it was nothing.

Athaliah then tried to karate chop the monk, but the monk grabbed her hand on mid-attack and also attempted to break her arm, but Athaliah returned the favor by kicking him by his side.

The monk then winced in pain as he got knocked back.

Athaliah stepped forward, grabbed her iron broadsword, and pointed it at his neck, her eyes like fire that glared against the monk.

The monk stepped back and kicked Athaliah at the side of her ribs.

It was her turn to wince and she dropped the iron broadsword and drop to the ground.

She tried to stand up, but her forces are halted by the monk's foot stepping on her body.

"Thou shall not kill," the monk told Athaliah creepily.

Suddenly, the monk got fried by an invisible force known as radiation.

Athaliah turned and saw it was Lion, pointing Ray's raygun, at the now-dead monk.

"Oh true," he sarcastically commented.

* * * * *

Jay swung at the samurai, but the samurai countered it with his iron sword. Jay kept slashing with his diamond sword, but the samurai knocked off the diamond sword off of his hands.

Jay sighed and whipped out a diamond axe.

The samurai was surprised as Jay managed to land a hit on the samurai, nearly piercing through his iron armor.

The diamond axe left a mark on the armor.

The samurai fought on, as if nothing had hit him. Jay continued on, but the samurai managed to disarm Jay's diamond axe with one slash.

Jay sighed again as he revealed his third and final weapon: a diamond dagger.

The duo fought on, although Jay's getting on the dangerous side because fighting with a dagger versus someone with a sword is hard.

Jay barely blocked the swings of the samurai with his dagger.

That's when he realized that he couldn't defend much longer.

He hoped that he will survive as the samurai prepared himself for a powerful swing.

As if an answer to Jay's prayer, Nev came flying through the window and shot purple shards against the samurai. Nev flew away as she was chased by a weird looking Project.

The samurai got disoriented for a second. Jay took this as a chance to stab him.

It took him a few tries, but he managed to pierce through his armor.

* * * * *

Lion then tried to chase Nev, but he couldn't levitate.

"Guys! We have to help Nev!" Lion told the team.

Persephone tried to move, but Ray stopped him.

"You need to stay there," he said.

"What? So I can bleed my way to the Aether?" Persephone replied.

"Just apply pressure to the wound, Persephone," Ray told her.

"But don't you realize how painful is that going to be?" Persephone argued.

"But do you really want to die?" Ray asked.

"We are all going to die anyway..." Persephone's pessimism sparked.

"But not today," Ray reassured her, "Look, I care about your health. Yes, it sounds cray-cray, but as long as it concerns someone else, I care. Simple as that. Now, apply pressure to the wound if you don't wanna bleed to death."

Persephone kept silent as Ray turned to the rest, "You guys go. I'll stay here at the moment."

Everyone then went except for Athaliah, who was... meditating...?

Ray didn't really care as he helped the injured Persephone.

"There, there..." Ray put Persephone's hands on the wound, applying pressure.

"You're not trying to insert your germs or possibly radiation in my bloodstream, do you?" Persephone asked.

"I can't confirm with the germs. Hey wait that rhymed," Ray said, "But as for the radiation part, only my raygun does that."

"That's definitely reassuring..."

"Persephone, apply more pressure," Ray told her.

"But I can't..."

"But you have to. Don't worry about the pain... all that matters is that you still live by the end of the day."

"It's night though," she pointed out.

"Eh, whatevs. Now, I'll apply pressure okay?"

As Ray applied pressure, Persephone's face looked like she's constipated as she tried to hold the pain.

"Sh... It's going to be okay..." Ray comforted her.

She stood the pain.

"Persephone, put your hands over the wound. I'll see if there's a gauze pad and medical tape and some ice. Oh, and peroxide as well," he instructed her.

"My weapon's ice, though."

"Wait, you don't need any ice. You're technically ice anyway," Ray pointed out.

"True."

"Wait, I have a gauze pad, peroxide, and some medical tape in my inventory. How lucky," Ray said.

Ray walked back to Persephone. He prepared the peroxide.

"This is to prevent infection."

"I know that."

He opened the peroxide and said, "This might sting..."

He then applied peroxide.

"OW!" Persephone exclaimed as she winced in pain, "Holy Herobrine... Dude, don't just drop it all of a sudden!"

"Sorry," Ray apologized, "Now to apply this..."

He gestured to a gauze pad and a medical tape. "Oh nice, I don't have scissors."

"Just use my daggers..." Persephone said as she kept breathing heavily. Ray understood, since he knew how painful it is to drop peroxide on an open wound. He knew it's for the best, though.

Ray grabbed one of Persephone's daggers and used it to cut medical tape.

He returned the dagger and put the gauze pad on her wound, then applied medical tape over it.

"Now, that'll do," Ray commented.

"Thanks. Quite the doctor, Ray. You're quite the doctor," Persephone complimented.

Ray blushed, "Thank you."

* * * * *

The rest of Team Olympus were on the rooftop now, and the skyline of Heijokyo filled the surroundings and light pollution and visions of fire from afar flooded their eyes. An explosion in the distance boomed their eardrums

"Where's Ray, Persephone, and Athaliah?" Lion asked the team.

"Persephone's been wounded, and Ray stayed there to be her doctor. I don't know what the Nether is Athaliah doing," Storm answered.

"Okay, well, let them do their thing. Let's just do this," Lion told them.

"The thing is, how could we fly?" Storm pointed out.

"Who says we are going to fly? We can just use our projectiles to hunt that weird thing," Lion explained as he went to the edge of the rooftop and started shooting arrows. Milarite later helped with her crystal throwing daggers.

"But I don't have any projectiles!" Storm yelled.

* * * * *

Lion showered arrows at the Project as Nev shot her purple shards at it.

Nev and the samjogo glided throughout the city. Nev noticed that it was raining arrows and daggers.

She looked up to see Lion and Milarite trying to help.

Nev flew faster and shot purple shards against the bird.

The bird changed directions and charged straight to Nev. Nev got hit and knocked all the way to the ground.

Nev suddenly realized that this is her death.

She braced herself for a deadly impact like a meteor that's approaching the mesosphere.

But, wait... she didn't hit anything.

She felt a sense of warmth on her back. She looked to see what it is...

A phoenix.

"Vanoss...?"

The phoenix replied with the voice of Athaliah, "I'm not Vanoss."

Nev tried to move, but she felt too much physical pain, as if she literally got broken bones.

The phoenix moved her towards the rooftop and landed Nev.

"I'm going to handle this..."

The phoenix flew to fight the bird.

"So that's what Athaliah is doing all this time..." Storm concluded.

* * * * *

Athaliah flew and charged against the samjogo from behind. She pinned the bird down to a wall of a skyscraper, causing some cracks.

The bird tried to scratch the phoenix, but the phoenix pecked the head of the bird, causing it to wince in pain.

The three-legged bird attempted to flap its wings in defense, but Athaliah pecked and scratched the wings in offense.

The bird then tried to pin Athaliah against another wall, but the two birds broke through a window and fought in an office filled with computers.

The workers immediately ran away as the birds kept fighting.

The samjogo pecked the phoenix, but the phoenix managed to dodge those as Athaliah attacked using a headbutt and pinned the bird on the floor.

Athaliah attacked using her beak to dot the bird with holes. The bird screeched in pain, but the phoenix showed no mercy as it kept on attacking.

The bird went limp as some of its feathers faded away.

The phoenix then flew back to the roof.

Omg finally I stopped there.

Idk why I made Chapter 16 really long, but I felt like it because splitting this chapter to two-three chapters is kinda inappropriate.

That was a really long action scene though.

That was the reason why it took a while to update; because the chapter's really long ^.^

Btw, do you guys think that I should make a special chapter on Valentine's?

Fun facts:

1. The idea of me basing Team Olympus' enemies on Asian culture just came to me when I was writing this.

2. I actually forgot what Athaliah uses in combat, so I had to ask CanadaNaomi to clarify what her character uses. Rip

3. Like I said, I made a mistake of naming Milarite to Ziosite and will change that soon. Why?

Because I found out.

I also needed to clarify what Zio-- Milarite uses in combat, (But I didn't ask bluedragoncalcite this time), so I checked through Gmail and found out that I named her wrong all along.

Ziosite was the name of an earlier character she sent me, but she abandoned it for reasons. Later, she sent me another character named Milarite, which is the one you guys read in this story.

So, thank you Gmail for being my life-saver.

4. I had no idea why I added that birch slap scene. Probably because I need some more humor before I proceed to action.

5. Since this chapter is really long, I decided to add things along the way, such as Ray curing Persephone's wound, Athaliah giving that birch slap, and made the dialogue lean more towards comedy.

6. I don't actually know the sequence of Ray's medical procedure. All I remember was that first, you need to apply pressure to the wound. Secondly, put some ice (though I did not mention that). Third, disinfect it. And finally, apply gauze pad and medical tape.

I really need to check my facts since this story is kinda science fiction, so science is needed in this book.

7. We all know that there are references hidden throughout this chapter. And I reckon that it will be like that throughout the entire book.

Okay so

Will Lion be able to cure his wounds? Why are their enemy Projects all had shining blue eyes? What more will Heijokyo and the government has in store? And will the author do a Valentine's special? Find out next time on Minecraft: Arctic Fox!
