"You mean Herobrine's controlling you?" Preston asked, his skin paling. I understood. I'd had some bad experiences with Herobrine. "Is he doing it right now?" Preston wondered.

  "Of course not, but he can seize control at any given moment," Xiro said nervously. "Every time he does it, I get a weird shocking feeling."

  "I read about Herobrine controlling mobs," I said.

  "And you never mentioned it to us?!" Jane said angrily, advancing towards me.

  Ridge grabbed her arm. "Don't."

  "Sorry," I apologized. "It never came to my mind. And anyways he could only control one specific mob at a time. If you think about it, how would he know to control Xiro? Wouldn't he be busy with other mobs or something?" 

  "But Herobrine's power is expanding," Ben said.

  "Do you think," I began, my eyes widening, "that he could you the gamma metal to control mass amounts of mobs?"

  "Oh gosh," Jane said. "I don't know how a hunk of metal can control something else, but we've go to get back to HQ."

  "What about us?" The right head of the wither asked.

  "You can stay with me," Xiro informed him.

  "What do you mean?" Grace asked.

  "Well we as mobs cannot go with you. We'd very well as soon kill you," Xiro said. "No, we must stay here in the forest. Keep you safe. I don't want to kill any of you and I doubt our wither friend wants to either."

  "But I'd have to - we'd have to leave our master," the left head said, floating to Grace.

  "Well if you'd rather kill her..."

  The wither floated back to Xiro. 

  "That's what I thought. Now HH," Xiro said, turning to the players, "your work has been valiant, but now you must leave. Return home to analyze your information. Hurry, before I can hurt you."

  Herobrine seemed to take that as a que. The wither and Xiro both began to shake. They violently shuddered back and forth. The HH drew their weapons. They didn't want to hurt their friends but what choice did they have?

  Ridge leaned on Ben and wielded his sword, his leg still hurt.

  "Ah yes. My haters." A purring voice came from both Xiro and the wither. "Don't worry. I'm too busy fighting another battle to hurt you right now. But you did guess correctly. I can control more then one mob at once, although it weakens me strongly. 

  "I'm letting you go now, but believe me, if I could kill you, I would.

  "Now let me give you these parting words: no matter who you fight, who you defeat and what you discover, no where and no one is safe."
