"Do you know where the Dark Blaze Rod is?" Lora asked Xiro.

"I personally know little about the DBR, but I can tell you that the HSP has it in their possession now, after being retrieved by an elite scout."

"That 'elite scout' was my father. He stole it from myself." I informed Xiro, looking slightly annoyed.

Xiro looked up to him. "So why are you not going back to get the DBR?"

"Uh..."

"We are tired and out of supplies. We had no intention of getting it, at first. Now we have proof the HSP stole the DBR and have reason to take it back," Jane interrupted me.

"So now you are going to base to resupply?"

"Yes."

"I still can't believe that you're talking to a talking spider," Grace commented.

"I hear that a lot," Xiro said.

The group entered the very clearing that the battle took place in.

"See? I told you it wasn't so far!" Ridge exclaimed.

"Shhh! The HSP might still be here," Ben said.

There were arrows everywhere, a tree was on fire, and random items littered the area.

They stood silently and listened, but no one they could hear. Ben said,

"I'll go loot the items on the ground."

He walked into the mess and started to search for anything worth taking.

After a while, Ridge joined him.
