A kiss full of passion it was, that left me feeling flustered and bothered.

Hesitation was all I felt whenever you circled around. You kept your distance, understanding me, giving me time.

And I wondered how long it would go this way. Me, hiding from you, with a red cheek. You, stifling your laugh, letting me hide.

It was a knock on my window at 1 am.

Midnight. Such an ungodly hour.

The night had darkened and I felt afraid thinking it's something ominous. Knocks continued, making me curl under my blanket.

The darkness in my room faded for a moment when my phone lit up with a ding.

Heart beat fastened, shaky hands reached for the phone.

'Open your window.'

A text from you. That I could never dare to ignore.
