Chapter 2: PRIVLAGE

John Laurens was a cis male with good looks, white privlages, and his family was absolutely filthy rich. Did this make him an asshole or a spoiled brat? Absolutely not. Does this make him a lucky fucker? Yes. But, even though John does have so many privlages in life to get him where he wants. There was only one problem.

He was gayer than Tyler Oakley, Connor Franta, Troye Sivan and Miles Mckeena combined. So gay he could make the author cry tears of happiness.

At a young age he didn't really care about young girls trying to seduce him or how they tried courting him, he had his eyes set on something else. His father tried reasoning with friends and family saying, "Oh Jack is just busy with his current studies to have time for the miss nanny's, it's not that he's gay or anything, just busy."

Yeah, busy staring and guy's asses all day, that's for sure. At first John thought he could hide his sexuality by dating girls, but he felt like he was taking advantage of them so he quit soon after. Later his father caught him in bed with another guy, his boyfriend, Lafayette. A 'friend' from school, as his father knew whom was just going to 'study' with his son. He studied his son alright. Let's say Lafayette was a bit too loud that night.

After that life went downhill for John. He was abused and mistreated almost daily from his homophobic father. His boyfriend left to France and broke up with him as well. Laurens didn't see him again. Lafayette apologized saying, "Mon amour, I shall miss you, I'm sorry this had to end like it did." He then kissed Laurens cheek before walking away teary eyed.

His mother and sister have tried stopping these events; the abuse, but they too would get beatings if they dare to interfere with Henry's 'lessons'.

This left Laurens with major depression and suicidal thoughts, he didn't ask to be this way. It wasn't like he could change just to please his father. He can't, and even if it was possible he wouldn't.

Today would be his last day there, as John packed his bags for collage he'd finally get to leave South Carolina; he'd finally be away from his dad. Sadly leaving his mother and sister in the process as well.

John looked at himself in the mirror, he was tanner than the rest of the family with freckles all over his cheeks, his hair was long and curly, always pulled up into a pony tail. His father would try to cut it saying it was, "Too feminine." John didn't mind, it made him feel happy having long hair. So he kept it.

He picked up his bags and headed out the door, with the help of his sister he put all his bags in the back seat of his car.

His sister was in tears as she hugged him. "Be good ya hear? Make mama and I proud won't cha?" She smiled. John nodded, "Course I will, I'll make you both proud." His sister Martha giggled and nodded. John wiped away her tears.

His mother walked up to him and kissed his forehead, "Don't go gettin' yo self in trouble now, be sure to study and make the top grades, I believe in you son." Her smile was as kind as the morning rise, filling his world with light.

"I'll see you at Christmas Ma'" John kissed his mothers cheek before turning his back to start the car.

"Don't screw this up." A deep voice boomed, the three turned to see John's father walk up to them from the house. "This collage can do good things for you if you try, don't go messing around, ya hear?" John nodded slowly. He yerned to punch him, but kept his fist down. "Yeah Pa." He turned away sharply and hopped into the car.

His sister was still drowning in tears, but also smiling. His mother held his younger sibling in her arms waving as John's car started to leave.

The last part of his family he saw were the cold dissapointed eyes of his father.

John focused on the road as a cold chill ran up his spine, hopefully this collage wouldn't fail him. Not like life has.
