I wish I could say that nothing changed between me and Riley after that night except for our relationship status, but I'd be lying.

I worry about her constantly, fretting that she might do something permanent. Something worse than just burns that'll leave scars.

With a sigh, I basically tear open my locker. As I do, a pink envelope flutters to the floor.

There's nothing on the outside of the note, confusing me. Maybe it's from Riley?

Slowly and carefully, I tear open the pink paper envelope and slip out the note card inside. And while I read it, I can physically feel the blood draining from my face.

"I know what's going on with your precious little Riles.

p.s. I also know about the interesting relationship you two have started."

S.? Who the hell could that be? And how could they know anything about Riley when I'm sure the only time she's ever mentioned it to another human being was in the park where we were alone...?

Starting to panic, I stuff the note in my book bag and slam my locker door shut. I think something is going on. Something even worse than a cheating Lucas Friar and a depressed Riley Matthews.
