Reiner waited patiently at the front gate as many passed by. Ymir being one of those who quickly gave Reiner a lily.
"Its a gift to give to Eren. Hope you get laid!" Ymir quickly wished before joining Christa. Reiner sighed. It wasn't until most of the students had left when he noticed Eren. He couldn't help but smile when he noticed Eren approaching him with a smile as well.
"You ready?" Eren asked.
"Yeah."
...
The two sat at a table mostly isolated. Waiting for their food they had conversed a lot.
"I swear, Mikasa can be so overprotective now that she isn't here. I swear, when I told her about Harold and all the other Alphas you wanna know how she responded?" Eren ranted.
"I'm gonna guess that it wasn't too good." Reiner replied.
"Yep, she freaked out, telling me that I needed to be on guard because 'i have no idea what these alphas are capable of' and that 'if I'm not careful enough they might try to do something harmful to me'!"
"Well she won't have to worry since I'm here. I'll be sure none of them try anything." Reiner may have looked heroic and confident, but on the inside he was criticizing himself.
Eren smiled a bit.
"Yeah, I told her about how you managed to scare off Harold and she was like 'well some alphas may not be as cowardly as Harold and they might hurt him!' I don't know why Mikasa is suddenly  all protective and paranoid, now that a bunch of alphas trying to woo me apparently set off her mom trigger." Reiner tried not to think of the possibility that Mikasa might be into Eren. If she was then surely she wouldn't be okay with him being with Eren.
"I think she sees you as her little brother. You know with her protectiveness. Its natural for Alphas,especially female ones to be overprotective over those who they view as younger sibling or their child,' Reiner left out the part where alphas would be overprotective with those they loved in much deeper ways," And with Armin gone and Jean's killer on the loose she probably just doesn't want to risk losing you. I don't think she views you as weak, she probably just doesn't feel comfortable leaving you to your own terms." Eren sighed.
"I guess you would know fron experience huh?" Eren asked.
"Yeah, I guess she just reminds me of how Annie used to act. " Reiner said.
"Speaking of which, I haven't heard from Annie in awhile ever since she was suspended. Have you?"
"Barely. Anyways, i noticed after I stood up to Harold, you don't seem to be getting as many alphas courting you. Has there been any more?"
"No. Not really. Guess you scared all the alphas willing to court me." Eren joked. Reiner chuckled a bit.
"Looks like I did huh?" Reiner added.
"I guess no Alpha is ever gonna want to court me now?" Eren joked.
"I wouldn't say that!" Reiner quickly regretted saying that. Eren's interest peaked.
"Oh really? What makes you say that?"
"Well.. you are very attractive to most, um.. you are very supportive and loyal, and you h-have a very attractive scent." Reiner stammered. Worrying if said to much Eren might catch on that he likes him.
"I guess. So Reiner, you got someone you'd like to court?" Reiner blushed.
"Oh! Uh-yeah! But I don't feel comfortable saying it in public. You know? What about you?" Reiner noticed the sudden fade in confidence on Eren's face.
"Oh, uh. Same." Eren nervously blushed and said quickly. Reiner remembered what Ymir had said.
A/N: I know I said this last chapter but I wasn't sure if anyone saw so here it is: I am planning on having a scene where Eren dreams of Reiner which depending on wether you guys want smut or not will either be fluffy or smutty fluffy.
