Eren opened the door. Within an instant his mother hugged him.
"Hello eren! Eren I haven't seen you for three whole days. It killed me to be so far away from you! You didn't even answer me calls?" Carla pampered her son a bit.
"Oh, i had one of my friends come over after school to keep me company. It was Bertolt." Eren explained.
"Oh thats good! I'm glad you found someone to protect you~" Carla purred.
"So..I-I see you brought something back. Who is this?" Eren asked, awkwardly. The red hair perked at tje mention of herself.
"Oh sorry, this is Isabel Mangolia, she's your cousin you used to play with when my sister lived in this town. Well your aunty has been dealing with alot right now, she currently has a stalker, a load of bills, and just got fired. She asked if we could care for Isabel until she is back on her feet and able to take care of her. So Isabel will be joining you to school, to all your classes, and she's living in the guest room. I hope you too get along~" Isabel approached Eren confidently and stuck her hand out to shake his.
"Hello! It's been so long since I saw you Eren! I hope we can reconnect after all these years!" Isabel greeted, the cutest smile any Beta could wear. Eren felt something awaken in him. Like a motherly instinct to protect the beta as though she was his child.
"Oh Yeah! I remember you! Its nice to finally see you again after all these years!" Eren greeted. Eren's dad came in bearing some of Isabel's stuff.
"Oh Grisha sir, do you need help with that?" She asked. Grisha smiled warmly and shook his head.
"I'm fine Isabel, Eren once everything is in I would like you to help take Isabel's stuff to her room, but for now, would you show her around?" Grisha asked.
"Of course dad!" Eren answered.

"Welp thanks for helping me settle in Eren! I can't believe its been like what? 15 or something years since I last saw you? Jeez!" Isabel yawned as she stretched out her limbs.
"Yeah! Things sure have changed a lot haven't they?" Eren replied, their bellies full of the rice and soup Eren had slaved over.
"So, you got a lot of friends?" Isabel asked. Eren paused, should he tell her about what has been going on? No that would kill the mood! Plus she would feel sad!
"I know alot of people but my friend group consists of: Ymir a femle alpha, Christa a female omega, Sasha, a female beta, and Connie, a male beta. I am friends with the student council president, Mikasa. Who I actually befriend after you moved. But Mikasa apparently had been pulled out of school for like 2 more weeks. There used to be more but." Eren paused, Isabel noticed the sad look on his face.
"Oh. Did they die?" Isabel asked, a bit sad.
"Yeah, well.. one is just missing. But one of them, Jean, was my mate. He was killed by someone the day after we got together. I have gotten over it, its just, with the recent disappearance and all, my friend group is a little.. eh sad I guess. But I'm sure they'll be okay with you!" Eren reassured.
"Ah, sorry. I had the same thing happen with a friend, a apparently her ex had sent a hit man or something to kill her. The Ex got caught though, I hope yours does too!"
Eren smiled warmly at Isabel.

"Eren! Eren! Who could've taken Eren! Who took him away from me!" Isabel broke down crying as she rushed through the halls. Passing by every one in search for cousin. She had to find him! He couldn't be dead! No! She needed to find him no matter what!
