This is the chapter where I tell you what happened in the past
Jess's POV And I'm not gonna say who the parents are

Little 5 Year old Jess and 7 year old Jay were sitting on the floor playing with Reuben when Mom and Dad came in
"Come on kids,Were going to McDonald's"
"Yay!"we both said
"So go get your shoes on"
We ran and got their shoes on
"Can Reuben come with us?"I asked
"I don't think they allow pets Inside Sweetie."Mom said
"But hes not a pet he's my friend."I told told them
"I guess we can eat outside."Dad said
"Yay!"I said
We all got in the car and we want on our way to McDonald's
After a few minutes we heard a Swerve on the road
I heard my Dad say something
"Oh Crap!"
Then I blacked out
When I woke up I was next to the car which was flipped over and my Parents under it and I say Jay next to me and Reuben,no where to be seen
"MOM,DAD!!!!"I screamed
"Jess,Take care of your brother please make sure he doesn't get in too much trouble and watch each others back no matter what,ok?"My dad asked
"Yes,Dad I will"
His body fell limb
Tears were falling down my cheeks and on to the asphalt
I turned to Jay and started to shake him
"Jay,Please wake up!"
"Jess,What Happened!?"
All I did was sit there crying
