Everly's POV
I woke up to hear Jax yelling training orders and I climbed out of my mom's bed.I walked downstairs to see my mom had a waffle on a plate for me with a note.
'Went shopping
Love,Mom'I showered and got dressed in some leggings and a shirt.I tied my hair up in a bun.I opened the door and seen our pack members huddled together and I heard wolf snarls.I jumped but stood by Nathan and Tally.I didn't see Jax anywhere and I frowned.
'How did you sleep'

'It's called mind link it allows you to talk privately to anyone in the pack or Jax can talk to the whole pack through his.'

'Lana how am I suppose to train if I don't know how to fight'
'You will learn from watching pack members and pick up techniques..I will help you fight most of the time.Luna's don't usually fight very much unless we have too.Your duties will be to keep the pack members safe by getting them and yourself in the pack house safe room'

"Of course"I copied her movements and I giggled when I heard the howls of the successful winner.The members started to disappear back to their tasks for the day I'm assuming and I stayed next to Tally.Derik walked over to me and so Nathan.
Hello I whispered.
"No need to be quiet Jax needs to see you in the pack house okay"

"Do you know where his office is"

"He's in his private office so second floor take a left at the top of the stairs and it's the door on the right"
Okay I whispered.I walked towards his pack house and my hands started sweating as I thought about what was going to happen.I didn't know what was going on.
'Relax sweetie deep breath'My heart started racing and I did deep breaths as I stood at the bottom of the steps.
What's that smell I whispered into my link.It smells so good like something sweet and delicious.
Mate Lana whispered and I froze at Jax's office door.I whimpered and she took control opening the door to see Jax.

I sat in my room promising Nathan to stay put if Jax gave me space.
"Everly baby what were you thinking"

You knew too I cried and she started crying as well.
Honey it was to keep you safe she whispered and I ripped my hand out of her touch like it was a hot pan.
No no no I shrieked.

Now when you decide to act like an adult you can come find me she yelled and slammed my door shut making me jump.I looked out my window to see darkness in Jax's pack house.Lana whined and I ignored it as my heart felt like some shattered it with a baseball bat.I looked to the backyard seeing the small cottage that my dad used as a storage area.It was empty now.I walked outside and opened the door.I flicked on the light and cleaned it out.I opened an old box to see piles of letters.All addressed to my brother and I.My finger ran over my father's handwriting and I started hiccuping from all my crying.
"Everly let me in"
It's open I whispered and Tally came in with a plateful of food.
"What did you find"
"Some letters..they are from my dad"
"Did you open this one"She held up the one that had written across the day My Little Girl Finds The One That's Made For Her.
No I whispered and she took the rest of the letters and put them away.
"You need to eat and then how about we read it together"
