KHUSHI

I woke up at my usual time, took a quick shower and then headed to the hall, Ananya was already waiting for me at the breakfast table, I smiled at her as I greeted her and settled down.

"So, yesterday I saw Arnav drop you home at night, did you both go for dinner again?" She asked.

"Yeah, he took me to his house for dinner. He live in like a real palace, can you imagine?" I said excitedly remembering everything about last night, it was all interesting.

She nodded as the servants walked to the hall with our breakfast, we both served ourselves and started eating.

"So what are you doing today?" I asked.

"Just the usual, shoot after shoot, busy day. How about you?"

"Same, I dint shoot yesterday for the AR, so I have to be there the entire day today, it's going to be hectic." I sighed.

"Why dint you shoot yesterday?"

"I skipped breakfast yesterday then I just got somehow weak God knows why, so when I went for the shoot Arnav noticed and he insisted I come home and rest, he even brought me home himself, I mean I wasn't even sick." I smiled.

"He seems to care a lot about you doesn't he?"

"Yeah, I also wonder why. No one has really cared about me that much apart from you." I said, Ananya opened her mouth to say something but before she could, the door opened and Aditya walked in interrupting us.

"Good morning babe." He smiled as he walked towards me and greeted me with a hug.

"I'm getting late, I'll see you at night Khushi." Ananya smiled as she walked away leaving the both of us alone.

"Would you like to have some breakfast?" I asked.

"Yes, you." He winked at me, I just blushed and continued eating while he sat beside me doing something on his phone. After I was done eating, I headed to my room to get ready for work.

As I stood in front of my wardrobe deciding what to wear, I felt a pair of hands on my waist, I turned around and looked at Aditya who seemed he was in some moods.

"Adi, I have to go to work." I pouted.

"I know but I miss you babe, it feels like it's been forever since I even kissed you."

"So you came all the way here to kiss me?" I laughed.

"Of course, I thought maybe I'll drive you to work, I was just kind of missing you today so I wanted to see you." he smiled.

"Okay, let me get dressed then you can drive me to work and maybe we can meet tonight and do something together so you don't miss me this much." I smiled.

"Sounds like a plan, see that's why I love you so much." He said as he pulled me into a hug, the hug dint feel uncomfortable, it never did actually, but what he said felt uncomfortable.

"Adi, please don't say that." I broke the hug and turned to look where I was, I pulled out a dress and threw it on the bed.

"It's a fact Khushi, if I don't tell you how are you going to know? Don't you want me to love you?"

"It's not that Adi, I've always wanted to be loved by someone, but I've also wanted to love that person back, and you know I like you, a lot but love hasn't happened yet and I just feel bad knowing that you love me because I don't know if I'll ever be able to." I looked at him sadly.

"Look at me babe, I am your boyfriend, what do I lack? I always do everything to make you happy, why can't you then feel the same for me?"

"Adi please, we talked about this before." I shrugged.

"I know, I just feel sad knowing that maybe one day I'll have to let you go because honestly, I'm not ready." He sat on the bed sadly, I sat beside him and held his hand.

"Maybe you wouldn't have to let me go, maybe I might not fall in love with you but maybe I won't fall in love with anyone else either, and I'm not leaving unless that happens."

"I know, I just don't want to lose you." He sighed.

"And maybe you won't. Now cheer up I'm getting late, let me get dressed and then we leave." I said, he nodded so I grabbed my dress and got dressed into it quickly, I dint put on any makeup because at the shoot I had to put on according to the clothes anyway.

Once I was ready, Adi and I headed to his car and he drove me to work, all the way he was silent, he dint say much, every time we had this conversation it would make him sad but only if I could tell him, if it was in my control, I would fall for him, but it wasn't and I dint even know who I was destined to fall for.

Adi and I had started this relation so casually, it wasn't even serious but the more time we spent together the more we started liking each other's company no wonder we had been together for so long.

He parked the car outside AR designs, I stepped out and bid him a goodbye, he drove off as I headed inside.

I knocked at the door of Arnav's cabin and walked inside, he looked pretty serious working on his laptop, he looked up at me as I walked in and pulled out a chair and settled down.

He smiled faintly at me and then continued looking at his laptop, his was behaving quite odd I couldn't really understand.

"What's wrong Arnav?" I asked.

"Nothing." He shrugged, I placed my hand on his and he kind of flinched and stood up immediately, I had no idea what was going on with him.

"What's up Arnav? You know you can tell me anything." I said.

"Yeah I know Khushi but it's just not the right time. Can we start the shoot? I promise after we are done with it I'll tell you everything." He said.

"Okay, where are we shooting today?" I asked.

"Here, in the hall where we usually shoot, Aman has made all the arrangements, we were just waiting for you." he said, I nodded as the both of us stood up and walked out of his cabin.

I couldn't stop wondering what was bothering him this much, it was as if all over a sudden I had started caring about him just like he was caring for me.

When we arrived at the hall, Aman handed me the clothes I was to wear, so I headed to the changing room and got ready while Arnav headed to sit in a corner while studying some files.

After a while as I walked out of the room all ready for the shoot, Aman directed me to the area where I was supposed to shoot, I was still looking at Arnav when he finally decided to look at me.

He lifted his head up and looked at me, when his eyes met with mine, they kind of widened, I don't even know how to explain, but he dint even look away he just kept on staring at me and I don't know why I liked that.

The photographer told me to pose so I started posing as he shot pictures and the circle continued, I would change into different clothes and walked back and Arnav would look at me like I was the most gorgeous person he had seen, he dint seem to care that he was making it so obvious, I liked that about him.

After the final shoot for the day, I headed back to the changing room and sat down, it was a tiring day all I need was to sit down for a while and just breathe.

I shut my eyes trying to rest for a while but just then the door opened and someone walked in.

"Why are you guys disturbing me? The shoot is done, I need to rest for a minute and can't you knock before you walk in?" I said angrily, I was just too tired today so it was kind of making me irritated, otherwise I would never behave this way.

"I am so sorry, I should have knocked." I heard Arnav's voice, I stood up immediately and turned to look at him.

"Arnav, It's you. I'm sorry I dint mean to be rude." I apologized.

"No it's okay, sorry for disturbing you, I'll head back to work, I'll see you for the next shoot that's scheduled next week." He said as he walked out, I kept on calling his name but he just ignored me and walked away.

I don't know why the hell he was behaving so strange, I guess it was his behavior since morning that had me so irritated, I mean until yesterday night he was so fine with me, we had actually become friends but today he was behaving like we were just working together and nothing like friendship was between us.
