hey everybody! so i talked about hosting an editing contest on my page so a lot of you seemed like you were into it! and since i haven't done anything to celebrate 2K followers (i know, it's kinda late) i thought i'd do this!

you do not need to have supreme designing skills to enter! (i'll explain later)

anyways, let's get started!!

RULES:

1. You're allowed as many entries as you'd like, as long as you follow the prompt!

2. Covers must be 512 x 800 or something equivalent, as for the others, make sure you have somewhat proportional sizes!!

3. You have 2 choices for submitting your entries:

you can post it in a book

or you can directly send me a link.

I prefer it if you send me a link (but you can post it in a book too!!). If I get it PM'd to me, I'll have a better chance of remembering to post it.

4. Include what book/ character you're using as inspiration and feel free to include a blurb on your piece and what inspired you!

5. do not steal graphics and other people's exact ideas! (like taking a cover from the inspiration and remaking it completely!!) be unique, be creative, do what YOU want!

6. please, if you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask! i will gladly answer!

you can make a cover (any type you like!!), a character edit, a trailer or video edit, a picspam, a blend, a chapter header, an icon with one of my characters, a mock-up, an actual drawing, a crackship gif (or any type of gif), a moodboard, a character aesthetic, or even a digital painting!

if you want to make something that's not listed, just ask!

ARTIFICIAL LIGHT:

COLE : no faceclaim, has brown hair and green eyes.

he's kind, supportive and adores painting along with making people happy. he struggles with anxiety and he has a crush on olivia.

OLIVIA: no faceclaim, brown hair and blue eyes.

olivia struggles with severe depression (she has tried to take her own life). she lost her parents in a car accident when she was very young and she also has scars from cutting on her wrists.

STORY DESCRIPTION: cole wants to make olivia smile again. they go on small adventures and yeah

OF ASHES:

FAYE ROSENBERG:  faye is character i absolutely adore. she's headstrong and caring and to me, she's real and she's genuinely terrified of the stuff that happens in beacon hills ( yes, this is a teen wolf fanfiction)

Faye is a supernatural creature know as  ignis. i'm no going to go too much into her character because i don't want to spoil anything for other readers so if you want an exact description of an ignis, check out chapter 14 in OF ASHES or, if you don't care about spoilers, you can message me privately!

for the others, basically the ignis revolves around fire. when faye "transforms", her eyes go orange and it looks like fire has consumed her pupils. then, the veins in her arms go black aong with her fingertips, like she dipped her hands into ash.

FAYE IS PLAYED BY GABRIELLA WILDE

Faye is also romantically involved with Scott McCall ( tyler posey), so you can make an edit or even a manip with them and she is also best friends with erica reyes (gage golightly), so you could also make an edit of those two!

since it is a fanfiction, i only the character faye rosenberg, so it is required to have her in an edit if you include any of the other members of teen wolf.

this book takes place in season 2 of teen wolf!

STORY DESCRIPTION: faye accidentally burns down her old school and moves to beacon hills, you all know what happens next lol

THEMES: fantasy, werewolf, supernatural..

THE HUNTED:

i'm not going to go deeply into the characters, but i'll give a quick summary! please let me know if you have any questions about the characters!

ARDEN WINTERS: Faceclaim is Marie Avgerpoulos. a vampire/werewolf hunter who has a silver stake with a messily carved snowflake in it. she doesn't have much emotion, (she's cold and heartless) ((thus the last name winters (; )) she's covered in scars and has one on her top lip. her love interest is nathaniel. has silver eyes + brown hair. LOVE INTEREST: nathaniel YOU CAN USE ROSE HATHAWAY AS AN EXAMPLE

IVY EMERSON: Faceclaim is Virginia Gardner. a human who is younger than Arden, but is basically sidekick. she's known as "sharkbait" because she lured out the vampires and werewolves. she's kind, supportive and she secretly wants to help Arden hunt, but Arden will never let her. She's fierce and strong and also an optimist.  has blonde hair and only has scars on her neck and blue eyes. LOVE INTEREST: secret (;

LEVI WINTERS: faceclaim is dylan sprayberry. younger brother of arden winters. he was kidnapped when he was young by rogue vampires and nobody knows if he's still alive.

NATHANIEL ILYICH: faceclaim is danila kozlovsky, also known as dimitri from the vampire academy movie. he has longer brown hair and he is a vampire. his eyes can be golden, and he's also quite sassy and narcissistic, but in reality, he's just trying to survive. LOVE INTERESTS: arden and asia

ASIA TAHAN:  faceclaim is aiysha hart. (SMALL SPOILER) Asia is Nathaniel's human girlfriend. she's a very strong female character and she's pretty much a huge badass. she also very independent. LOVE INTEREST: nathaniel & secret (;

These are the main characters, but if i had to choose one it'd obviously be Arden. feel free to check out the book fore more information on the characters! (; (or just PM me lol)

SUMMARY: Arden is trying to find levi who is presumed dead and she goes to a town named evercliff and meets nathaniel and they're forced to work together when people in evercliff start getting slaughtered by an unknown monster.

THEMES: Vampire, werewolf, Supernatural, Fantasy

SIGNIFICANT THINGS TO THE STORY: blood, vampires, wolves, vampire hunting, a silver stake with a snowflake on the side, full moon, etc....

i'm not going to be to picky if you choose to use a stock model that resembles the characters.

out of all of these ones, i'm going to be the pickiest when it comes to representing the characters because they are my own characters. one little detail on the character could change EVERYTHING!

DUE DATE:

this due date is going to be extremely extended because i know how stressful and busy it can be if you're in school or working (or even both?!?!?!)

I will NOT be here from November 24th to December 1 (also another reason for the extended due date) so i will not be posting ANY submissions and i will not be able to answer any questions if you have some.
