(Little chapter Tay-Yun wouldn't let me skip)
The faint sound of music tugged at Teller's conscious. For once, he was actually quite comfortable, even with the excess warmth he felt snug up against him. He sure likes to cuddle.
Yawning, Teller grabbed the arm around his waist and began tugging it off, only for it to tighten around him. "Tay-Yun?" He hadn't expected the guy to still be awake... but then again, he wasn't even sure what time it was.
"Go back to sleep. It's Wan-Nu setting up the track order for tonight." Tay-Yun said, his voice quiet, yet Teller couldn't hear a hint of sleep in his words. It almost sounded as if he hadn't actually fallen asleep yet.
He tried to shift around so that he was facing the guy, but Tay-Yun kept a strong hold on him until he realized that Teller was too stubborn to back down. When he rolled over onto his other side, Teller was surprised to see how close they really were. Especially their faces.
A flashback of the previous night made his face warm. He ducked his head against Tay-Yun's chest, feeling the young man's warmth even through the fabric of his shirt. He smells good.
Feeling a faint brush against his hair, Teller looked up curiously. Tay-Yun's arms were both wrapped around him now, with one hand at his waist and another settled against his lower back, so he couldn't have brushed his hair with them...
Teller got his answer when he saw Tay-Yun's shadowed face lean down and press a kiss to his forehead. The gesture was so light, that he barely even felt the brush of lips, but the gesture definitely couldn't be ignored. Unfortunately, Teller's mouth wasn't functioning when he opened it, considering no sound could be heard before it closed.
When he gave up speaking and just pressed his lips together, Tay-Yun chuckled. He didn't hear it as much as he felt the rumbling sound vibrating through their touching chests.
"Don't pout, Teller. Did you want me to kiss a little lower?"
Teller's heart jerked in his chest as he quickly gave his head a slight shake, his forehead brushing against Tay-Yun's shirt again.
"Hmm. Are you sure? You may never get the chance to kiss one of your idols again." Tay-Yun said as he nudged Teller's hair with his chin gently.
Kiss? He'd never even thought about doing such a thing... most days. He couldn't say that he'd never thought about boys, either. It had just been a phase, mainly, though.
He turned back around in Tay-Yun's arms and was about to try and make himself go back to sleep when he heard his phone begin to ring. He must have been more tired than he'd thought, because he wasn't nearly fast enough to get to his phone before Tay-Yun had it answered and held up to his ear.
"Hello?" He said calmly as Teller landed on his chest, his arms outstretched toward where his phone had been moments ago.
When his brain caught up with the fact that he was way too late, he slumped over, his arms hanging over the side of the bed as Tay-Yun settled his free arm across his back nonchalantly.
"Ah, grandma. Good afternoon."
That accent. Is he doing it on purpose?
Scooting back a bit, Teller folded his arms on Tay-Yun's chest and got somewhat comfortable as he settled his head on top of them, facing the guy who was schmoozing his grandmother.
"That sounds lovely, ma'am."
Teller huffed, earning a quiet chuckle as Tay-Yun lifted his free hand to settle on his head.
"Yes, he's right here with me in bed."
Don't say that!
Teller scrambled forward, trying to grab the phone. Tay-Yun only turned it on speaker, then lifted it in the air with one hand while holding Teller against him with the other.
"Oh, that boy. I knew he'd do well for himself one day." His grandmother said, making Teller pause in his struggles and drop his mouth open.
What on Earth is she talking about?
"What do you mean, ma'am?" Tay-Yun asked, earning a frustrated groan from Teller.
Stop with that accent! It's...
He stopped himself from thinking anything and just turned his head away, only to earn a light pat against his hair.
"I mean, it's about time he realizes that he's bi."
My grandma did not just say that.
"Bi?" Tay-Yun asked, seemingly not catching the meaning.
With his last bit of effort, Teller lunged forward to grab his phone, but was suddenly flipped onto his back and pinned before Tay-Yun flipped the phone off speaker, then pressed it back to his ear. Incidentally, that brought the phone far too close to Teller's own mouth for comfort.
Teller quickly clamped his hands over his mouth, trying to keep his startled panting from being heard through the phone.
"Yes dear, it means that he likes both boys and girls." His grandmother said, her voice easily audible in the silent room, even without the speaker function on.
"Ah. I see." Tay-Yun said as his attention turned to him.
Teller couldn't see his features too well, but he could swear that he was grinning at him.
"Hmm. It seems that you're... distracted. Do me one favor before you hang up, Tay-Yun, so that I have something to talk about during my book club that will make all the other old ladies jealous?" His grandmother asked, making Teller fidget. He didn't trust her any longer. She had betrayed him!
"Of course, ma'am." Tay-Yun replied, adding a bit more honey to his already disturbingly sweet voice.
When Teller's grandmother replied in a hushed, conspiratorial whisper, Teller felt his body break out in a nervous sweat.
"Give him a kiss for me please, sweetheart. Good night." She said.
Tay-Yun said his goodbyes, then hung up the phone and tossed it somewhere off to the side on the bed. When he just returned his focus to him, but didn't move, Teller tried to roll over, but the guy was too heavy to budge easily.
"Your grandmother wanted me to give you something for her."
That darn accent, and I could hear her fine.
He couldn't make himself hate it, even though he knew that it wasn't completely natural. Tay-Yun was totally changing it a bit on purpose.
"I don't need it." Teller mumbled through his hands, making Tay-Yun tilt his head slightly, then lean in to the point of nearly pressing his lips against the back of Teller's fingers where they covered his mouth.
"What? I cannot hear you through your hands, Teller."
I know what you're going to do if I move them.
His eyes narrowed on the guy above him, but he couldn't see his features, and it was getting frustrating. Glancing sideways, he noticed the clock shown dimly as six in the morning.
We've only been asleep for barely three hours.
He could feel it, too. If he was going to perform, he definitely needed more sleep. The chime to his phone started playing again, and in a split second, he turned as best he could with Tay-Yun still lying on him and reached for the device. His fingers closed around it in a second and he grinned in triumph.
Hah! Not this t-
His thoughts vanished in an instant as his eyes jerked wide. Tay-Yun's lips were pressed against his. He'd leaned down when Teller had looked toward his phone to grab it, and somehow managed to get the perfect position in the darkness for their mouths to meet.
The kiss only lasted a couple seconds before Tay-Yun pulled back just enough to bump his nose against Teller's. When he didn't respond, Tay-Yun ran a hand through Teller's hair, tugging gently every few moments until he turned his head. Teller was trying to wrap his mind around what had just happened, but Tay-Yun was relentless in trying to get some type of response from him. He kept nudging his nose with his own and tugging at his hair.
"Stop..." Teller whispered finally.
Tay-Yun did, but then slowly leaned back down and pressed his lips to Teller's cheek, then leaned back a little. Is he waiting for me to tell him to stop again? Teller opened his mouth to do it, but no words came out.
It felt like a full minute had passed before Tay-Yun leaned back down and softly covered his mouth with his own. The kiss was longer, but too short at the same time. Tay-Yun pressed light kisses along the edges of Teller's lips, then ghosted his mouth along them before covering them again.
Teller felt his heartbeat accelerate with every second he didn't push Tay-Yun away. He lifted his right hand to do just that, but he only got as far as to nervously set his fingertips against the side of Tay-Yun's face.
He was too hesitant to respond to any of the kisses besides a shiver from his lips every couple of seconds. Tay-Yun seemed to pick up on his worry because he leaned back after one final kiss, then got off the bed.
"I'm going to go help Wan-Nu. Get some more rest. We'll be busy later."
Teller sat up in a daze, his eyes fixed on Tay-Yun's shadow standing before him. He could still feel the pressure of lips against his own, making him shiver a little and tug the blanket up around himself.
"Your hair is so messy." Tay-Yun mused as he leaned over and ran his fingers back through it, then stole one final kiss. "Sleep." He whispered against Teller's mouth.
Unable to argue, Teller got himself situated under the blankets, then watched Tay-Yun's shadowy back disappear down the stairs across the room.
He tried to sleep. He really, really did, but his eyes kept blinking open every ten or fifteen minutes. Each time, he felt a slight bit of disappointment, though he couldn't place the reason for the feeling.
When the bed finally dipped with Tay-Yun's weight and he was gently tugged up against him, Teller felt himself finally relax. He thought that it should have given him the opposite affect after having been kissed earlier, but he might have possibly, maybe, unintentionally... developed a small crush.
