Redo

"Go go go!" Sahn-Re yelled as he jumped up and down on the couch, the controller for the racing game in his hand swinging around violently, making his car swerve every which way.

Teller was grinning as he stood in front of him, swinging his own controller more carefully as he tried not to laugh too hard at Sahn-Re. The guy had made him crack up so hard he was crying the last race, and of course, he lost since he kept having to wipe away tears.

The blaring of Shinee's Lucifer probably didn't help calm Sahn-Re's energy levels at all as it pumped from the stereo system they had hooked up all around the room. Teller had never played such a hyper version of Mario Kart before. Granted, En-Ti was just steering his kart peacefully where he was perched on the armrest of the couch, since Sahn-Re had already accidentally stepped on him twice.

Even with Sahn-Re's yelling and theatrics, En-Ti manages to snag first. Sahn-Re skidded into second a hair behind him, making the guy groan and flop over, his arms draping over Teller's shoulders, making him stagger with half his weight, then drop them both to the floor. He didn't see where his own kart went, but he doubted that it crossed the finish line.

"I think it's time for a break before Sahn-Re ends up sending one of us to the hospital." En-Ti noted as he stood up and walked over, switching the game off right as Sahn-Re sat up on Teller's back.

"Hey! You turned it off right after it saved!" Sahn-Re grumbled, earning a grin from En-Ti.

"Of course. Now I'm ahead of you in total points." He said before setting his controller down and heading off to his room.

"Can I get up by chance?" Teller asked as he turned his head to look over his shoulder at Sahn-Re.

"Oh. Right." Sahn-Re said before getting up, then offering Teller a hand.

Taking it, Teller gave his thanks. "Your hand's a bit warm." He noted, earning a grin from Sahn-Re.

"I get a little hyper playing that game."

A little?

Shaking his head, Teller walked into the kitchen, hungry for a snack after the craziness they'd just dealt with. "Want to split something?" He asked, not wanting a whole container.

"Sure!" Sahn-Re answered in English, making Teller chuckle. His accent was adorable.

They settled on a spicy roll that Sahn-Re had ordered. It had kimchi, spicy beef, egg, and the same spicy paste as the one he'd had earlier. "I should ask Tay-Yun to try this." Teller said with an evil grin that made Sahn-Re chuckle. "He would hate you forever."

"I'm not sure how much he likes me now, anyways. You know, he tried to blackmail me with a video of me snoring?" Teller said, laughing a little at the insignificant attempt.

Sahn-Re's eyes widened but he didn't reply until he finished chewing his food, then swallowing. "I wanna see it! I'll ask him for it later."

That wasn't what I intended to happen.

"Can you not do that?" Teller mumbled, his face turning slightly red.

Sahn-Re reached over with his free hand and mussed up Teller's hair before taking another piece of food with his chopsticks. "I will think about it."

The next few hours passed in near-silence. They'd turned off the stereo after finishing up their meal, then just decided to relax on the couch reading. It had been a while since Teller had been able to use the Kindle device on his phone, so he quite enjoyed the quiet time.

With the silence, though, he did hear  Sahn-Re sniffle a few times. When he asked if he was feeling okay, he just said that it was the spicy food making his nose run, so Teller just shrugged it off. It made sense, anyways.

When the front door opened sometime later, Teller was nearly asleep. He pushed himself up, covering a yawn as he looked over at Sahn-Re, who seemed completely focused on his book, because he didn't even seem to have heard the door.

"Wow, Sahn-Re isn't jumping up to greet us?" Wan-Nu asked with a chuckle as he stepped into the living room area, removing his coat to drape over his arm.

Teller smiled at him, then looked behind him when he heard the door close and lock. Tay-Yun appeared a few moments later, shaking his head as he brushed his fingers through his hair quickly.

Was it raining?

"We will leave soon for your show, since it will take a bit to get there. Are you going in that?" Wan-Nu asked, earning a nod from Teller.

Sahn-Re perked up at that, hopping over the back of the sofa. "Gotta get ready!"

"Seems like he's fine." Teller said with a laugh that Wan-Nu echoed. "It would seem so."

They all split up to get changed, leaving Teller alone for twenty or so minutes. In that time, he made sure to use the restroom, wash his hands, then get a drink of water. Tay-Yun met him in the kitchen first, dressing in a pair of distressed greyish-blue jeans, a black long sleeved shirt and his signature jacket. He hadn't been wearing it earlier, and it kind of smelled like it had been through the wash.

Good idea.

Tay-Yun walked over to a drawer and took a cloth from a small packet, then began cleaning his sunglasses. Once they seemed sufficient, he slid them onto the bridge of his nose. Teller had to admit, he did look good. Especially since he had his trademark jacket and glasses back.

"Don't faint. I won't catch you."

Teller frowned, missing one of the words Tay-Yun had said, but catching the general idea of what he'd just said.

"You wish." He mumbled, earning a half-grin from Tay-Yun before En-Ti and Wan-Nu walked into the room.

"Alright. We're all set." Wan-Nu said before turning around, only to turn back around and look them over. "Wait. Sahn-Re isn't here yet? He's always the first one ready."

"Let's go!" Sahn-Re shouted as he literally hopped over the threshold of the kitchen entryway.

Tay-Yun and Wan-Nu both chuckled, but En-Ti just stared at him before sliding a pair of normal glasses onto the bridge of his nose. Everyone headed out to the car and soon they were on their way. It was damp outside, so Teller's guess about it raining had been true, but thankfully it had subsided before they started driving.

He would have been nervous going near Mimic again, but with the entire Ello crew behind him, he couldn't find it in himself to be stressed. Of course, he was a little shaky because he had to perform, but standing behind a curtain wasn't too hard. If he had to go out in front of others? That would end badly.

Arriving, Teller gasped at all of the people waiting outside. The lines were long, even though it seemed like they were already allowing some in. There were just that many people.

"We'll need to go in around the back." Tay-Yun said as Wan-Nu already began turning the van.

Thankfully, their car was unmarked, so it was impossible to tell who they were unless someone got a good look. Wan-Nu got them around back and dropped them off right at the entry door.

As Teller hurried inside, he felt a hand slip into his and grip it like a vice, keeping him from going too far ahead. He couldn't see very well since they were soon in the backstage area, so he didn't bother looking back until Mr. Canzoni, Ike, and the rest of the band stepped out of seemingly nowhere to block his path.

The hand gripping his hauled him backward so fast that he stumbled right into a firm chest, drawing his attention up to Tay-Yun's face for a split second before returning it to Mr. Canzoni.

"Where do you want him?" Wan-Nu asked as he stepped forward, slightly shielding him from the glare of his former manager.

"Just put him between the first two sets of curtains, and make sure no one goes back there until the show is over." Mr. Canzoni growled.

Teller thought that was it, but then En-Ti stepped forward, arms crossed over his chest. "Pay him first."

The red tint to Mr. Canzoni's face was easily visible, even in the low light. He was about to start yelling when Tay-Yun stepped back and tugged Teller with him. "We can leave right now."

The red got deeper, but Mr. Canzoni shoved his hand into his coat pocket and pulled out a checkbook. Soon he was handing a piece of paper to Wan-Nu. Ike followed with his own promise of money afterward, handing Wan-Nu a second check without a single word.

After Wan-Nu checked both, he had Teller take out his phone and take pictures of them with the flash on his camera, then send them to his bank. Once that was all finished, he slid the checks into his pocket, then nodded.

"He will be ready. Thank you, gentleman." He said with a smile as he turned and started walking toward the curtains on the left side of the stage.

From there, everything thankfully went off without a hitch. Ike was surprisingly easy to work with that night, making Teller wonder if he'd purposefully given him trouble in the past or if Mr. Canzoni had wanted him to make him slip up. Either way, he was glad that they easily synced, allowing him to relax and just enjoy singing. Even with Ello watching him, he wasn't too nervous.

Sahn-Re's energy as he silently cheered or sang along was awesome, and the fact that everyone stayed with him for the entire thing was really appreciated. The moment the show finished Tay-Yun had his hand again and was pulling him away from the stage.

"Hey guys, wait a second please!" Ike yelled from behind, making Teller stop, and in turn, pull Tay-Yun to a stop. The guy looked annoyed, but relented and turned.

The rest of Ello was slower to stop, but they all did. Not a single one of them went down the short few stairs to the main floor.

"I just wanted to say thanks for showing up." He paused for a moment, scratching at his hair nervously as he added. "And sorry."He then darted off back across the stage after the front curtain had fallen.

"Didn't think I'd ever hear that out of him." Teller said as he was tugged off the stage and they all hurried out of the building.

He hadn't realized how loud it had been inside until they stepped into the cold night air. It was actually pretty chilly after a minute, making him shiver as they waited in the faint drizzle for Wan-Nu to run and get the van. It was just appearing around the corner a few moments later when Teller felt something heavy settle over his shoulders.

Hm? Oh, Tay-Yun's jacket.

Before he could thank him Tay-Yun was pulling him forward and into the van. They took the two middle seats, while En-Ti and Sahn-Re slipped into the back. They skipped picking up dinner, probably because the fridge was already full of a million takeout containers, and just headed straight back to their house.

Teller was glad. Even without being in front of the audience, he was still exhausted. Singing wasn't easy, especially when you had to coordinate with other people. He ended up nodding off a few times in the car, but awoke when Wan-Nu parked. He followed Tay-Yun out, yawning as he quickly headed up the stairs, eager to rinse off in the shower, then pass out.

Wan-Nu got the door open, but when Teller didn't hear anyone behind them, he turned to call out to Sahn-Re and En-Ti, only to have a few fingers lightly press against his lips. They weren't preventing him from being able to talk, but they were sending the clear message to stay quiet.

Teller realized why a second later, when En-Ti carefully climbed out of the van with Sahn-Re held carefully in his arms, the smaller guy's arms wrapped around his neck as his head rested on his shoulder. En-Ti reached forward and pressed a button so that the van door would close on its own, then turned and slowly began heading up the stairs.

"He doesn't feel well, like we thought." Tay-Yun whispered before En-Ti silently slipped past them.

They followed him inside, Teller running ahead as quietly as he could. He wanted to ask if Sahn-Re would be okay and what he could do to help, but when En-Ti stopped near the small hallway leading to Sahn-Re's room and looked at him with a tired smile, Teller realized that he was being dismissed.

"Got him, Tan?" Wan-Nu whispered, surprising Teller by using En-Ti's family name, which normally wasn't used.

When En-Ti nodded, Wan-Nu reciprocated the gesture. "Good night." He whispered before En-Ti turned and disappeared into Sahn-Re's room.

The gloomy atmosphere vanished a few moments later when Tay-Yun stepped out of the kitchen to lean against the doorjamb there, a  half empty glass of water in his hand. "En-Ti will take care of him tonight. If he still isn't doing well tomorrow, we'll take him to the doctor."

That's a relief. They're taking it very seriously.

It was probably just a small cold, but just the idea that it could possibly be more made him nervous. He didn't want to see Sahn-Re sick. The guy was a walking ball of sunshine and he really made Teller, and likely everyone else around him, happy.

"Let's go sleep." Tay-Yun said as he finished his cup of water and disappeared into the kitchen, only to return a moment later without the cup.

"Okay. I'm going to rinse off in the shower real quick. I'll meet you in your room?" Teller said with a tired smile.

Tay-Yun nodded, then paused. "I need to brush my teeth."

"That's fine. Just give me a second to get in the shower." Teller said as he handed Tay-Yun his jacket back, grabbed a change of clothing, and headed for the bathroom.

He hurried to get undressed and under the water. The door opened a few seconds afterward and he soon heard the sound of Tay-Yun brushing his teeth. As soon as he heard the door shut a few minutes later, telling him that Tay-Yun had likely left, he turned off the water and ran his hands over his body to get the majority of the water off, then climbed out. Grabbing the towel, Teller hurried to dry himself, as well as wipe his face. He looked up toward where he'd left his clothing on the side of the sink when he decided that he was dry enough to start getting dressed, only to find Tay-Yun staring at him with a small bit of what appeared to be skin cream in his hand that had paused halfway to his face.

Why... is he still in here?

In a blur, Teller yanked the towel around his waist and turned around, already feeling the blush begin to color his face and ears. The sound of the door being opened and closed abruptly made him jump, then look over his shoulder.

Thank god, he left.

He hurried into his clothing before anyone else could walk in, then scrubbed his teeth and slipped out the door. Thankfully, Tay-Yun wasn't in bed when he stepped into his room. Teller could hear the piano coming from down the spiral staircase, but didn't dare follow the sound. Instead, he dropped down into the bed and buried himself beneath the covers. Even with his heart still pounding, he found himself drifting off after only a few short minutes.
