Logic

(A bit of fun lol)

"Are you behaving, Tel?" Ethel asked over the phone.

Teller had been in the middle of his first actual rehearsal at the company when his phone refused to stop ringing. He'd known it was her ringtone but figured that she'd leave him alone until after he'd finished. No such luck.

Leaning his head back against the wall outside of the small studio room, he took a moment to close his tired eyes. "Yes. I am being an absolute angel." He said, knowing that she'd have something to say either way, so he didn't bother trying to go into all the details of how unangelic he'd been recently... especially in Tay-Yun's bed.

"So you're using condoms and being extra careful? I've seen the way that boy looks at you. You can't tell me that you two aren't connected by more than just cellphones when you disappear into his room." She said.

Teller pursed his lips and glared up at the ceiling. Thankfully, no one was around to see his face turn bright red. He was about to answer her, somehow, when he heard some cackling on the other end of the line that definitely wasn't his grandmother's psychotic laugh.

"Grandma...?" He mumbled in disbelief, terrified of what she might say to explain that laugh.

"Oh, don't mind her. That was just Et-Tal, but I just call her Ethel two. She's one of the eight members of this book club." His grandmother said with an excitement that terrified him.

"Wait. You said book club... and eight members..." Teller half-whispered, half-groaned.

His grandmother replied with even more excitement. "Oh, yes! These ladies are so sweet! Oh, and Et-Tal seems to know English, oops. I think she might be telling the other ladies what I was talking about to you."

Teller slapped a hand against his forehead. "Oh, don't worry. I didn't tell them that your boyfriend is Tay-Yun, that singer from Ello."

Please, stop.

"Well, you just did. I'm actually very busy trying to keep my sex life out of the ears of the elderly, so if it's alright, can we talk later?" He asked, already moving the phone from his ear, then hitting the end call button.

She'd get revenge on him for that later, or... his phone began ringing right away, making him wince and put it on silence.

"Ready, Teller?" His instructor asked as he poke his head out of the door to the studio.

Nodding, Teller hurried back into the room, tugging his headset on as he sat himself in front of the keyboard they had set up. They weren't sure what instrument he was going to end up with as his main one, but he was being taught the piano first. It was an absolute blast to learn, and much easier than the others so far, but that's probably because Tay-Yun had already helped him out so much with it.

Wan-Nu glanced into the room Teller was using to practice, smiling when he saw the guy's fingers fly over the keyboard as if he were already a pro. He was just turning away to go find his new and most-frustrating ward when he felt strong arms wrap around his shoulders and tug him away from the small window and right back into a chest he was unfortunately becoming familiar with.

"Hello Wan-Nu. Mine good Korean now?" Ike said brokenly, making Wan-Nu roll his eyes as he pushed his way out of Ike's arms, then turned on him to point at him.

"English, please." He said, earning a scowl from Ike.

"Come on, I studied! How far off was I?" Ike wined, making Wan-Nu start walking away, shaking his head. "So far, and you studied for twenty minutes before getting drunk and passing out last night." He said as Ike ran up to match his pace.

"Same difference. Still studied." He said as they turned the corner and got in the elevator.

He had a fitting in a few minutes so that the company could start getting him things to wear that could make him stand out to advertisers. Wan-Nu had set up the time, and made sure that it was nice and early to be sure that Ike would have no choice but to be responsible and get up, hangover or not.

Yeah, as if that had happened. He'd had to drag the guy out of bed, only to be grabbed and tripped. Five minutes of struggling on the floor later, and he'd finally managed to free himself and scold the idiot that if he was late to his first fitting, he'd recommend that he be fired to Don-Wei.

That had thankfully lit a fire beneath Ike's backside, until they got to the building twenty minutes early. He took the extra time as a sign that he should get a bit more sleep, and had refused to get out of the van after Teller was long gone to his own appointment.

"Hey, how many minutes until we're late?" Ike asked as he leaned against the side of the elevator.

They might have fixed the thing, but it sure was going slow.

Wan-Nu glared at him, crossing his arms over his chest. "You will be the one who will be late, in..." He glanced at his watch. "Four minutes."

When he looked back up at Ike, the guy was staring at him with an expression that he actually couldn't read. He'd crossed his own arms and had his eyes narrowed slightly, as if he were concentrating on something, though Wan-Nu had no idea what he could possibly be thinking so hard about.

Before he could be bothered to ask, the bell above the doors chimed and they slowly slid open. Ike ran out, grabbing Wan-Nu's hand and forcing him to stumble after him. "Slow down, idiot." He said, as Ike pulled him down the hall, around a corner, and halfway down another hall.

"At least he'd paid attention when I was telling him how to get to the right room." Wan-Nu said, earning a lifted eyebrow from Ike as they finally stopped outside of the door and the guy cleared his throat, then lifted one hand to tap lightly.

Wan-Nu eyed him, drawing Ike's attention.

"What? I'm behaving." He said with a faint redness to his face.

Wan-Nu was about to reply when the door opened and they were greeted by one of the modeling department's wardrobe specialists.

"Hello. Ike is here for a fitting appointment." Wan-Nu said, gesturing to the frustrating guy standing beside him who was putting on his best awkward smile.

The woman looked Ike up and down, then gestured for him to come in. "Does he speak Korean?" She asked as she went over to a table and picked up a loose measuring tape.

"No, and please don't ask him to try." Wan-Nu replied.

The woman turned to Ike. "Hello, my name is Rachel. Please remove your jacket and shirt."

"Wait, you have an English name?" Ike said without thinking.

Wan-Nu wanted to strangle him right then and there. He stomped over and yanked the jacket off of Ike's shoulders, clearly making him realize that he was an idiot and need to just do what he was told.

"Okay okay. I'll shut up." Ike said, sounding a little confused as he hurried to pull his shirt over his head.

Wan-Nu looked over his upper body, glad that he found very little evidence of the bad bruises Ike had sported earlier in the week. He'd been helping him put on the medication En-Ti had given them, but also gotten him a prescription to help them heal better.

Stepping forward, he pressed his hand to the only really visible one left on his chest, relieved that Ike didn't even flinch. It must not be hurting anymore. He gently grasped his shoulders and turned him slowly after a moment. His back was another story, but the few remaining bruises were at least healing up nicely, and should be gone after a few more days.

"Wan-Nu." Rachel stated, her voice slightly frustrated. "Play with your boy later, I have another appointment in a bit."

Embarrassed, Wan-Nu hurriedly stepped away, crossing his arms over his chest as he sent a scowl to Rachel. She completely ignored it, of course, and walked up to Ike to begin running the tape around him every which way.

His fingers fidgeted as she touched Ike more times than he could keep count. When she glanced back at him to ask a question, he looked away, pretending to be very interested in the clock hanging on the wall above the door.

"He looks pretty decent. Just keep him off fatty stuff and don't allow him too much sugar and these measurements should be perfect."

Wan-Nu looked back at her, relaxing as she finally stepped away from Ike after giving him a pat on the shoulder. "All done. Good job." She said, pointing to Ike's shirt, signaling that he could get dressed again.

"Thanks for your time." Wan-Nu said with a slight bow of his head.

She waved him off with a smile. "Off you go, and good luck. Seems like you will need it with this one."

Pursing his lips, Wan-Nu stifled a sigh and nodded as he took Ike's arm once he'd gotten dressed, and tugged him from the room.

"That's it for today, right?" Ike asked, the look in his eyes telling Wan-Nu that he wanted to go get into trouble.

"Yes... Tay-Yun said he will pick up Teller when he is finished later." Wan-Nu replied as they got back into the elevator.

The doors took nearly ten seconds just to slide closed, making him feel a little nervous. As if reading his mind, the elevator decided to jar, then the lights flickered off.

"Shit." He cursed, making Ike laugh.

"I know what that one means!" He said, as if it only mattered that he cussed and not that they were now stuck in the elevator.

Sighing, Wan-Nu leaned against the wall by the small emergency light and pulled out his phone. Thankfully, he had reception, and called Don-Wei to let him know about the elevator. Evidently, they had scheduled another maintenance on them and he just hadn't been told.

"Just wait about fifteen minutes. They said they were just replacing something." Don-Wei said.

Wan-Nu wanted to ask why they couldn't just turn the elevator back on for the few minutes it would take them to get off, but the guy excused himself to take another call before he could even open his mouth.

"Shit." He grumbled for a second time, earning another chuckle form Ike.

"I like hearing you cuss, even if it's in a different language. You always seem so stuffy and old." Ike said, making Wan-Nu scowl at the man's dim shadow.

"I am only a couple years old than you!" He said with only a slight mistake, before slowly sliding down the wall, figuring he might as well sit and wait.

Ike walked forward, stopping right in front of Wan-Nu before flashing a faint smile. "Offering me something down there?" He asked with more than a hint of heat to his voice.

Wan-Nu jumped to his feet faster than they could even react, making him stumble forward into a quietly laughing Ike. He easily caught him, but then wouldn't let him go as his arms slid down, hands grasping each other behind Wan-Nu against his waist.

"I want to go get some ice cream." Ike said, clearly not realizing how uncomfortable he was making him feel. Or, more than likely, not caring.

"You can't have any, and get off." Wan-Nu said, squirming in Ike's arms as he pushed against Ike's chest.

"I would have, but you got up, so I figured the silent invitation was retracted." Ike mused, clearly being sarcastic.

Frustrated, Wan-Nu gave Ike a particularly hard shove, finally forcing the guy to step back. At the same time, the dating app on his phone decided to notify him of a new contact. He couldn't have been less happy with the timing, but looking at who it was would at least help pass the time in the dark elevator.

He was just reaching for the device in his back pocket when he saw Ike lean forward and reach around him, his hand brushing against his backside as he easily snatched the phone.

"Hey!"

Ike held it up, just out of reach as he punched in the code Wan-Nu knew he had never given him.

"You really shouldn't put in your code when people are clearly watching you." Ike noted. "Oh, she's not bad looking. Not bad at all." He said, a big smile on his face that was only half visible in the dim light.

"I swear, I'm going to leave you at your first photo shoot and make sure that I take your phone with me!" Wan-Nu yelled as he furiously tried to get a hold of his phone as Ike began typing after somehow figuring out the button to switch the keyboard to English. He shouldn't have used that, either, while the guy was around.

Wan-Nu got his phone back, but not before Ike had messed with it a bit more.

"There, I fixed the problem with those annoying notifications." He said as Wan-Nu quickly checked over the device for damages.

His jaw dropped when he saw that Ike had removed the two dating apps he had on his phone. Granted, he didn't use one of them all that much, but he'd gotten to meet some somewhat decent people on the other!

"Hey! Why did you mess with those? This is not your phone!" He said, shaking the device in Ike's face before turning and leaning his head back, intent on smacking it into the wall in the hopes that it would wake him up from the nightmare he was dealing with.

A strong hand pressed against his forehead right before it could make contact with the metal, then slowly guided him backward until his head bumped into Ike's shoulder.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that." Ike said in a whisper that was partially cut off as the elevator music and lights suddenly turned back on.

Not wanting to cause a scene when the doors finally opened, Wan-Nu shrugged him off and turned to face them.

"I shouldn't have deleted those stupid apps." Ike mumbled as he, too, turned toward the doors.

Against his better judgement, Wan-Nu glanced sideways at him, then replied. "Then why did you?"

The monotone elevator music took over the silence that stretched between them until the chime above the doors finally rang. As they slowly began to open, Ike shrugged his shoulders and looked away.

"You're really warm when we sleep next to each other."

The explanation made absolutely no sense to Wan-Nu, but before he could even ask Ike to clarify, the guy was halfway down the hall, heading toward the exit doors.

"I swear Don-Wei put me in charge of him on purpose... and it was strictly to torture me!"
