Lisa and Jungkook had ended up at a nearby café, per her request. The sun was beginning to set, and she would be lying if she said it wasn't slightly romantic. Obviously, the timing was off but she hoped that one day, if they mended their relationship, they could do this again without the tension.

There Lalisa was, awkwardly fidgeting with her thumb as she waited for Jungkook to speak. The latter was oddly calm and was studying her with a disturbing intensity as he took a sip from his drink.

After a couple moments of silence, Lisa spoke up. "Are you going to talk or...?"

Jungkook set down his cup and nodded. "Let's resume from before we were interrupted. Why were you ignoring me?"

"Well... you know how the other day we went to visit Bambam and Mina?" Jungkook nodded at that. "I overheard you say something about hiding something from me to Mina."

Lisa's gut clenched when Jungkook nodded apprehensively.

"There's a lot I've been hiding from you."

"I can see that," Lisa replied evenly, and was surprised when her voice didn't shake.

Jungkook took a deep breath. "I—"

"Please tell me the truth; the full, honest truth. I don't want you to leave any details out. Everything from the beginning to the top. We're both in a relationship. We shouldn't be hiding anything from each other. We can't fix anything if you're silent."

Lisa's words caused Jungkook to still, and she could see the way his shameful gaze turned away to observe anything but her.

"Lili, can you please give me a couple more days? I want to tell you everything now, but I need to organize my thoughts. Honestly, I didn't think you overheard that conversation, so there's much more to explain than I initially thought I needed to."

"Honestly, with every passing day, you prove how much of a bad partner you are," Lisa gritted out and watched as Jungkook's face became a mixture of hurt and knowing.

Lalisa sighed and leaned back on her chair. "Fine, I'll give you a week. But please, tell me the whole truth. I'm not giving you this much time just so you can make up some scheme about loving me."

Jungkook nodded, and she ripped her gaze from him, biting her lip as she saw, from the corner of her eye, his form leaving the café, and suddenly she felt the overwhelming urge to cry.

She tried to suppress her tears by pressing her lips into a thin line as she grabbed the cup and quickly made a mental note to update her Reasons to Let Go list.

a/n: hello! i haven't been updating for some time and i don't plan to update for even more time, but i did have some spare chapters i've never released but have finished writing so the last three chapters are a treat! thank you for almost 30k, i'm amazed this book has gotten so far despite it's mediocrity. i appreciate the reads and votes and ESPECIALLY the comments so much!!! 💗💗 i will try my best to finish this book (i have the plot ready but my hands just cannot write bangpink well anymore </3) ive been very busy with my life, especially school. during my free time i just watch anime so i don't really have time to write 😭 but it's winter break so hopefully i will finish this story soon! anyways, i hope u all are doing well and happy holidays! once again thank u sm for all the support 💓
