XIII.

Lisa zoned out, her hand supporting her chin, listening to her professor's boring rant.

Glancing slightly at her phone, she wondered if Jungkook was going to start sending her messages, but to her irritation, she received nothing.

She felt a buzz on the table, realizing it was her phone dinging on silent and picked it up swiftly, only to realize that it was Mingyu. The disappointment was evident on her face, a small frown with her eyebrows slightly narrowed.

But Lisa read the message and quickly responded before the teacher set their eyes on the girl.

wanna hang out later? :-)

sure! where? 👀

during lunch !

okay see u there 🥰
seen

Lisa felt satisfied at her plans for lunch. Her first interaction with Mingyu had been weeks prior, and she had been spending hours on end with him. Since Jungkook was never there, he wouldn't know about her newly acquired friendship with his friend.

Lisa felt the same familiar buzz of a notification under her hand and picked it up, slightly irritated as she wondered why Mingyu was chatting her this much even though she was in class.

To her astonishment, it was Jungkook.

lili
can u please come home early today
my parents are coming to town
and they want to meet u

Lisa was a bit surprised. She kept in touch with Jungkook's parents and talked with his mom every so often, so she was quite confused as they hadn't informed her beforehand.

but they didn't tell me? :O

i just found out too
just come home and listen to me
i don't have time for this

Lisa rolled her eyes. Why was he like this? She wondered why he didn't want to meet with his parents.

fine >:[

turn that frown upside down

bye 💀

Lisa smiled at his emoji, satisfied that he found her texts amusing.

Closing her phone, unaware of the message he sent right afterwards, she turned her focus back to her lecture, tapping her hand against her thigh as she waited for it to finish.

Right before she went to lunch however, she quickly jotted down a reason on her Reasons to Let Go list.

Lisa of course felt bad for thinking negatively in every situation, but her mind seemed to do that on it's own.

Reason #13: He's rude on text. >:[
