XII.
School seemed to busy her after that incident, and Lisa didn't pay much thought to the situation at hand since her studies were finally being prioritized after being pushed aside for the past couple of weeks.
Lali knew that if truth were to be told, she was trying to rid her mind of the memory she spotted at the place where Jungkook worked at.
But ever since she began focusing on herself, her friendship with the girls got stronger and they spent more time together. Lisa had even rediscovered her love for dance, which she hadn't touched since moving from Thailand.
While her classes were over for the day, Lisa still had much homework to complete before going home, so she walked to the neat library near the university, smiling at the passing by people as she tugged onwards to her destination.
The chirping birds during midday made Lalisa's mood rise, which had already been positive as it was, but Lisa had even found it nice enough to lightly skip, chuckling as she found herself being quite stupid but enjoying it.
While on her journey to the library, Lisa accidentally bumped into a person. Looking up, she was surprised to see Jungkook's friend Mingyu there, who had a pile of books stacked in his arms, clutching onto them for dear life as Lisa's little stop seemed to almost shake them off.
Lisa immediately made a reach for the materials in his arms to help him out.
"Sorry about that! Here, let me help you."
Mingyu smiled. "Thanks and it's fine."
Squinting his eyes a bit, he added, "Aren't you Jungkook's friend? I've seen you two together before."
Lisa wondered why she wasn't addressed as his girlfriend, but she just nodded her head painfully and forcefully smiled at the question.
"Yes. Were you going to the library by any chance?"
"Yeah! You?"
"Yeah. Do you want to go together? I could use a study partner as well."
Minutes of talk as they walked side by side seemed to quickly be over as Mingyu and Lalisa arrived at the specified building.
In the following three hours they spent together, Lisa couldn't breathe from laughter and the two barely got any work done.
"Want to work together again tomorrow Lisa?" he asked with the wiggle of his eyebrows.
Lisa lightly laughed. "Sure! Same time?"
"Sure," Mingyu replied, waving her goodbye as she got out from his car and waved back shyly.
When she got home, she sighed. Jungkook was nowhere to be seen as usual.
She wondered where he even stayed away from his own house.
Her Reasons to Let Go list was brought out once again.
Reason #12: My friends treat me better than he does.
