PROLOGUE

Marco Elias Kumpen was known for many reasons.

He was the half brother of Max Verstappen, he was a formula one World champion, he was one of the most successful Belgian racing drivers, he was known to be hated by his ex step dad Jos, and he was openly gay.

He became an easy target for bullies and trolls and yet he always strived to ignore them and to keep doing what he loved doing which was racing.

He was portrayed badly in the media and yet his fellow drivers knew him so well and knew how kind he was.

They always stood up for him, and defended and supported him, especially Lewis Hamilton.

Lewis was always by his side and he had no idea how much Marco appreciated it, because to him, he felt like he had somebody believing in him and supporting him no matter what.

Although, he wasn't quite sure when the lines of friendship became blurred between the pair, and the feeling of attraction, lust and eventually love replaced what once was.

But he didn't mind.
