Before I begin this book is entirely 3rd Person POV so don't expect Bill's POV or Dipper's POV or even Mabel's POV. Mabel and Dipper are gonna play a major role in one of Millie's adventures and she plays a major role in all of theirs, sure, just don't expect any POVs in the story. This also takes place during season one but Millie does wind up meeting Bill before she meets Gideon but I ain't saying how or when. Now that that's out of the way let's get right into this.

Millie put away her journal and ran downstairs into the shop with Mabel running after her and Dipper walking behind them. Millie, Dipper, and Mabel have only been there a week but Millie was already enjoying herself. Mabel went back to being boy crazy and Millie chuckles before watching the twins argue over it.

"I wouldn't be surprised if the boy of my dreams walked through that door right now!" Mabel says confidently before Grunkle Stan walks through the door.

"Not a good one." Millie snorts slightly.

"Aw why?!" Millie bursts into laughter with Dipper at Mabel's absolute disgust.

"I need someone to hang up these signs in the creepy part of the woods!"

"Not it!" Mabel yells.

"Not it!" Dipper and Millie second Mabel's outburst.

"Also not it!" Soos says with a smile.

"No one asked you, Soos." Stan turns to Soos as he makes this remark.

"I know and I'm cool with that." Soos eats a chocolate bar after that statement.

"Hey Wendy! I need you to hang up these signs!"

"I would but..." Wendy pretends to reach for the signs. "I can't reach them."

"Okay. Eenie meenie minie you." Stan points at Dipper.

"Come on, Grunkle Stan! Every time I go into that part of the woods I feel like someone's watching me."

"Aw, someone's scared of the woods! Don't worry, Millie's going with you." Millie groans before she agrees to go.

"Alright. Let's go, Dipper." Millie grabs half of the signs as well as a hammer and nails and waits outside for Dipper. Dipper walks out later with his signs, nails, and hammer and together they go into the creepy part of the woods.

"I'm telling you, Millie, something weird is going on in this town. Just the other day my mosquito bites spelled out 'BEWARE'." Dipper states before showing Millie his mosquito bites.

"That says 'BEWARB'." Millie points out, causing Dipper to blush in embarrassment. "But in all honesty I believe you, bro. I've seen a lot of weird things in Gravity Falls. I'm pretty sure there were living gnomes in the woods the first time I came here." The two start hanging signs around the woods with Dipper constantly mumbling under his breath. Dipper tried to put a nail in one tree but it made a metallic CLANG once the nail hit it. He hit it again, meeting the same result.

"Millie! I found something!" Millie quickly runs over to Dipper as he opens up the metal door inside the tree.

"What the...?" Millie toggles one of the two switches on and off before flipping the other to on, causing a secret compartment in the ground to open. Dipper looks inside it and pulls out a dusty old book, a journal of some sort. Dipper blows away the dust on the journal to reveal the number three on the cover in the middle of the handprint. Dipper looks through the journal with Millie. "I KNEW I WASN'T CRAZY!" She remarks once she sees the gnome chapter.

"What is all this...?!" Dipper asks before turning to the last page of the journal. "'Unfortunately, my suspicions have been confirmed. I must hide this book before he finds it. Remember, in Gravity Falls, there is no one you can trust.'" The journal read TRUST NO ONE in all caps and underlined.

"What are you two reading? Nerdy things?!" The two jump before turning to Mabel.

"Nothing!"

"Aw, you're really not gonna show me?!" Millie and Dipper look at each other before looking at Mabel.

"I think we should go somewhere private..." Millie says before she leads Dipper and Mabel back to the Mystery Shack.
