I woke up at around 11 am, good thing too because the tournament wasn't until 3 pm. I took a shower, grabbed my clothes, slapped on my tournament wristband and walked downstairs and out the door. I thought about heading over to my favorite food truck run by my best friend's family, and I was craving for chorizo right now. Luckily, Hector was working inside the truck and had a wrapper in his hand

"Five!" I waved to him.

"Sup [Nickname]! Ready for the tournament?" Hector, or as I call him "Five" because of his username "Hi-5".

"Uh duh! Hinobi's tournaments are the highlight of my life! And now I'm in it!" I said practically flaunting my tournament wristband.

"You mean WE'RE in it" Five said as he flaunted his wristband as well.

"Nothing's gonna stand in our way of winning this tournament!"

At the tournament

Announcer: AND MITCH WILLIAMS!

"Except Mitch Williams..."

I said dejectedly as a jumbotron showcased every player in the tournament and finally stopping at Mitch Williams whilst fans were roaring as he made his way on stage.

"Come on, lighten up amigo!" Five said putting a hand to my back.

"Five! Mitch has won every single Hinobi tournament ever since he first joined! There's no way we're gonna win the tournament against him!" I said as we walked up to the stage to take our places.

Funny how my spot was right next to Mitch Williams, because I honestly don't like the guy. He looks as if he cares about nobody but himself.

After we were all booted into the game, Mitch then turned to me.

"Good luck..." He said

"Thanks, i guess-"

"You're gonna need it, newbie!" He said as he started cackling like the Wicked Witch of the West with an asthma condition.

"Oh you are SO going down Mitch!" I said as Miko joined between me and Five.

"Hey Y/n!" She said gleefully.

"Oh hey Miko! This is Five, my best friend".

"Hola!" Five said holding up his hand in the "hello" gesture.

"Sup! Let's knock some skulls!" She said bashing her fists together.

"Right!" Five and I said simultaneously.

Announcer: The tournament will begin in 5...
