After a several day work trip, Joe is currently on a flight home from Ireland.

Joe was in Ireland covering the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement for Morning Joe.

He interviewed President Joe Biden, Former President Bill Clinton and Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for the special coverage. 

Joe also talked to Hunter Biden, Jacob Biden, Valerie Biden, Former Vice President Al Gore and Former Second Lady Tipper Gore.

The Gores along with their son Jack tagged along with Bill, Hillary and their daughter Hope.

"Elijah! Come on, bud! We gotta go! We need to go get Daddy from the airport! Daddy is coming home from his trip!" Mika calls for Elijah as she buckles Madi Jo into her car seat.

*Elijah and Madi Jo's outfits*

"Otay, Mommy!" Elijah says as he happily runs to put his Crocs on.

Mika absolutely hates Crocs, but Kat and Emilie bought Elijah a few pairs and Crocs are easier for him to put on by myself since he is only two.

Elijah happily puts his Crocs on while Mika makes sure Meatball and Hobson are settled in.

"Okay, Meat, Scout, Hobs! We will be back! We are picking up Daddy!" Mika says to Meatball, Scout and Hobson as she picks up Madi Jo, grunting at how heavy the car seat is getting.

"I ready, Mommy! I ready!" Elijah says as he jumps up and down happily and with excitement.

"Okay! Let's get going!" Mika says as she, Madi Jo and Elijah all leave the house!

After buckling Elijah in his car seat, Mika and the kids start the drive to Palm Beach International Airport.

Unfortunately, it went from a 25 minute drive to 40 because of an accident. But thankfully, the kids slept through it much to Mika's relief. After arriving at the airport, she parks her car in short term parking.

"We're here!" Mika says as she turns the car off.

"Mommy, Madi Jo sleeping." Elijah says as he points at his sleeping baby sister.

"I see that. Both of you napped during the car ride." Mika says with a smile as she gets out the car and gets both kids out.

"You got the poster to welcome Daddy home?" Mika asks Elijah as she puts Madi's diaper bag on her back and carries the baby girl in her arms.

"Yes!" Elijah says as he holds the poster they made together with Madi Jo, Susan, and Jack's help.

"Alright! I need you to hold Mommy's hand while we walk across the street and through the airport, okay?" Mika says as she locks the car

Elijah nods his head yes, taking his Mommy by the hand and they walk together.

Once they get inside, they go to the escalator where the passengers from arriving flights go to before heading to baggage claim.

"Now we have to wait here for Daddy. I just got a text from him while driving and his plane just landed. Can you be patient, bud?" Mika asks Elijah.

"Yes, Mommy!" Elijah says in response as he holds the poster.

Madi Jo then yawns in Mika's arms, waking up from her nap.

"Hi, sweet girl! Did you take a nice cat nap?" Mika says as Madi rubs her eyes and babbles softly.

Mika kisses Madi's cheek and continues to hold her close.

"Mommy, where's Daddy?" Elijah asks not even three minutes after Mika asked him to be patient.

"He's coming! It takes a while for everyone to get off the plane once it lands and parks." Mika tries to explain to the two year old.

"Aaaa ba ba!" Madi babbles happily as she flaps her hands.

"Yeah! Daddy is coming! I know you missed Daddy." Mika says, kissing Madi.

"Me too!" Elijah says, jumping up and down.

"Are you going to show Daddy that you can write your name?" Mika says to Elijah with a grin.

"Uh huh!" Elijah says as he giggles and spins around.

Fifteen minutes later, passengers start to come down the escalator and Mika, Elijah, and Madi Jo all look for Joe!

"Can you see him yet?" Mika asks the two year old with

"No, not yet." Elijah says while shrugging his shoulders.

"Aaaaaaa!" Madi Jo yells happily.

"Jeez, you have a voice, girly!" Mika says as she playfully covers her ear.

"Is that my little princess I hear?" Joe asks with a yell as he comes down the escalator with a smile on my face.

"Daddy!" Elijah says with excitement as he runs to his Dad.

"Elijah Zbignew! Wait for Mommy!" Mika says as she runs after Elijah with Madi Jo in her left arm.

"You home!" Elijah says as Joe picks him up.

"I am home! I missed you!" Joe says as he picks Elijah up and hugs him tightly, giving Elijah a few kisses.

"Missed you too, Daddy!" Elijah says as he hugs Joe tightly.

"Aww, thank you for the sign! Did you and Madi Jo make this together?" Joe asks Elijah, looking at the sign, smiling at how adorable it was.

"Uh huh! And Jack! And Mommy! And Susie!" Elijah explains to Joe.

"Welcome home!" Mika says as she hugs Joe with her free arm and gives him a kiss.

"Hi yourself, you beautiful lady. I missed you! I watched the highlights from Morning Joe and you did great!" Joe says while looking proud at his wife.

"Thank you! I missed you too. I thought wrong when it came to getting interrupted because your kids got that trait from you." Mika says playfully as she kisses Madi Jo on the cheek.

"Told ya so! But I bet you enjoyed the peace, kinda." Joe says with a smile.

"I did!" Mika says playfully as they kiss again.

But Madi Jo starts to get fussy, wanting some attention too.

"Wanna switch? I'll take the poster if you'll take your daughter." Mika asks her husband.

"It's a deal! Come here, princess!" Joe says as he holds out his right arm.

Joe holds both Elijah and Madi Jo in his arms, smiling proudly at his two kids before smiling at Mika.

Mika takes a few pictures of the sweet moment.

"Hi, Madi! I missed you!" Joe says to Madi, causing Madi Jo to smile.

"Aaaa!" Madi Jo squeals happily.

"Yeah! Pretty girl!" Joe says in a babyfied voice at Madi Jo.

"I'm so glad you are home. I had anxiety the whole time you were away." Mika says softly to Joe, relaxing after not being that way for a few days.

"I know you would be. But don't worry, I am now back home with you, Elijah and Madi Jo." Joe says softly, bending down to kiss Mika again. 

"I love you." Mika says with a loving smile.

"Love you more!" Joe says in response.

"Love!" Elijah says with excitement and holding his arms up.

"That's right, Elijah! Love is very important and we love you and your baby sister very much!" Joe says as he kisses both kids.

"Okay, I think it's time we head to baggage claim to get Daddy's luggage." Mika says with a grin.

"Let's go get my suitcase! I have some treats in it for you two and Mommy." Joe says, causing Elijah to cheer while Madi babbles happily.

"Aaaaaaa!" Madi Jo yells happily.

"Yup! She's definitely found her voice." Joe says as he puts Elijah down.

"Daddy, let's go!" Elijah says as he and Joe walk together hand in hand. Madi Jo just enjoying the ride.

"I love my life." Mika says proudly as she records her husband and two babies.

"I love my life too." Joe says turning back at Mika and winks, causing Mika to blush.

"Aaa!" Madi Jo yells with a smile at her Mommy.

"Hi, baby girl!" Mika says to Madi Jo.

"Elijah, did you put your shoes on by yourself today?" Joe asks Elijah with a chuckle.

"Uh huh! Because I a big boy!" Elijah says proudly.

"I see! Wait a minute. Mika? Did you notice that our son has two different color shoes on?" Joe asks his wife while looking at Elijah's crocs.

"Oh my! No, I didn't even realize that! That's embarrassing! We were rushing out the door and I was just happy he was able to put his shoes on by himself today." Mika says as she facepalms.

"Well, at least he has on a left foot shoe and a right foot shoe. And on the correct feet." Joe says and both him and Mika laugh at the childish incident.

"Where's your suitcase, Daddy?" Elijah asks curiously.

"All of them are going to drop and go around this circled conveyor belt. I tied green and orange scarves on the handle so I know which one is mine. Can you see it?" Joe asks as he passed Madi Jo to his wife.

"Hmmmm..." Elijah says curiously.

"Any sign of it?" Mika asks Elijah.

"There! Orange and green!" Elijah says, pointing at Joe's suitcase coming around with the scarves tied to it.

"Good job, buddy! You know your colors!" Joe says while giving his son a high five and grabbing his suitcase.

Madi Jo then starts to giggle and babble happily, making her parents and big brother smile.

"Do you love to laugh, baby girl? You're a happy baby, aren't you? Yeah!" Mika says happily as she bounces Madi and kisses her cheeks!

"Elijah, did you pick different shoes on purpose?" Joe asks Elijah playfully.

"No!" Elijah says as he giggles as he holds Joe's hand.

"Little kids. What can you do?" Mika says while shrugging her shoulders.

"Right. Did you all have lunch yet?" Joe asks curiously.

"Snack!" Elijah says as he giggles and smiles.

"Baaaa!" Madi Jo babbles.

"Elijah and Madi had a snack but no lunch yet. Do you have plans for us, Daddy?" Mika asks Joe with a wink and a smirk.

"Not a clue. Anything you want, Elijah?" Joe asks his two year old.

"McDonalds!" Elijah answers happily.

Mika rolls her eyes, hating to ear fast food. However Joe loves it and so does Elijah.

"If you want to go to McDonald's Eli, then we can go! What do you think, Mommy? Should we go to McDonald's?" Joe asks Mika, knowing her thoughts about McDonald's and fast food places.

"Oh, alright. Since you just got back, I'll let it slide this time." Mika says while winking at her husband.

"YAY!" Elijah says as he begins to run off.

"Elijah Zbig! Come here. Hold my hand, okay? We are going to be crossing the street." Joe says with some sternness and Elijah quickly runs back over.

"I still can't believe he has two different Crocs on." Mika says as she giggles.

"Could have been worse! He could have had a Croc and a sandal." Joe says with a chuckle.

"True!" Mika says as Madi Jo lays on Mika's shoulder

"Are you laying on Mommy? You love her, don't you?" Joe asks his daughter and Madi Jo smiles at her Daddy.

"I think baby girl is ready for a n-a-p. They both took a quick one on the way over here and I think she wasn't finished." Mika says to Joe as Madi Jo closes her eyes.

"We don't need to spell, Meek." Joe says with a grin.

"Yes we do! This one knows what that word is without spelling." Mika says, pointing to Elijah.

"Nap?" Joe asks and Mika gives Joe a dirty look.

"No nap! I'm not sweepy yet!" Elijah says causing Joe to laugh.

"Told ya!" Mika says to Joe.

"You are always right." Joe says as Mika smiles.

"Of course I am! Go ahead and put your suitcase and backpack in the trunk. I'll get the kids buckled up." Mika says as she kisses Joe's cheek.

Mika, Joe, Elijah and Madi are now in the car and are leaving the airport. On the way home, they went to pick up some McDonalds for lunch.

Elijah is sitting in the back, holding some French fries and happily enjoying them.

"Don't make a mess with your fries, okay?" Mika says to Elijah with a grin.

"Uh huh!" Elijah says happily.

"Looks like Madi fell asleep." Joe says with a grin as he looks in the mirror, seeing Madi fast asleep.

"She was fighting her naps these past few days. Thank goodness she fell back asleep." Mika says as she holds Joe's hand again.

"She was waiting on me to come home. Little princess was worried about her Daddy." Joe says with a smile as he grabs Mika's hand with his right hand while driving.

"Definitely a Daddy's girl." Mika says with a smile.

"Can I come back on Morning Joe tomorrow?" Joe asks.

"The answer is no, Joe! All of us agreed you won't be returning until at least Wednesday. You gotta rest up from your trip." Mika says sternly.

"Fine." Joe says as he huffs a little.

Just then Elijah begins to cough, causing Mika to panic.

"Are you okay?" Mika says as Elijah drinks his water and nods.

"You have to chew your food up. We don't rush when we eat. This is why we don't eat while the car is moving. Daddy must have different rules. Ahem." Mika says to Elijah and then at Joe.

"Well, what happened was..." Joe says nervously.

"What am I gonna do with you boys?" Mika says while shaking her head and giggling.

"Mommy, Daddy, can I have more fwries pwease?" Elijah says to Mika and Joe.

"We are almost home, bud! Just a few more minutes. Can you wait?" Mika says and Elijah nods.

"That's my boy." Mika says while turning her head to smile at her son.

"No fun!" Joe says playfully.

"McFwurry too?" Elijah asks Mika and Joe.

"Next time, bud! It would have melted by the time we have gotten home. But next time!" Joe says with a smile and Elijah smiles back at Joe.

Elijah nods his head yes, understanding why mom and dad didn't get any McFlurries this time.

"Daddy get McFwurry lots!" Elijah says happily, causing Joe to blush since Mika didn't know that.

"He does? Hmm." Mika says as she smirks at Joe.

"It's our little thing." Joe says with a grin.

"Sure it is." Mika says with a playful tone.

5 minutes later, they pull up to the house.

"Do you need help unbuckling? You got it?" Mika asks Elijah as she holds the Joe's sweet tea and the food bag.

"I got it!" Elijah says happily.

"Great job!" Mika says as Elijah gets out of the car.

Joe carefully unbuckles Madi, trying to not to wake her up.

Madi wiggles around, but doesn't wake up.

"Still got it." Joe says with a smirk as he kisses Madi's cheek and rubs her back.

"Maybe not." Mika says as Madi opens her eyes and covers them by laying on Joe's shoulder.

"Did someone wake up? Hmm?" Joe says softly to Madi.

"This girl has been sleep then not sleep all day today. Sweet girl." Mika says as she kisses her daughter.

"Are you kidding me?" Joe says while giving his wife the side eye.

"What is it, Joe?" Mika asks her husband curiously

"Madi Jo peed in her diaper again." Joe says with a sigh.

"What? How? I just changed her before we left the airport." Mika says while facepalming.

"Babies have a mind of their own. At least she didn't pee through her clothes." Joe says with a chuckle.

"Right. And guess who's changing her this time around?" Mika asks while pointing at her husband.

"I know. I am. That's totally fine." Joe says while kissing his daughter on the forehead.

"Daddy, I help?" Elijah asks his dad with a smile.

"Yes, you can help! Let's all get inside first." Joe says as he, Madi, Elijah and Mika all walk in the house.

The four of them were happily greeted by Scout, Meatball and Hobson before Joe, Madi and Elijah go into the nursery to change Madi's diaper.

Elijah then runs back over to Mika ready to eat.

"Let's wash our hands before we eat, okay?" Mika says Elijah and Elijah nods.

Mika and Elijah wash their hands while Joe and Madi walk over.

"Hi, baby girl! And hello, Daddy." Mika says with a smirk.

"She's still waking up. But she's nice and clean!" Joe says with a smile.

"I eat now!" Elijah says as he climbs into his seat at the table.

"Okay, we are going to eat too!" Mika says happily.

"Where's Madi?" Elijah asks while looking around for her.

"She's over here in her bouncy seat. Can you say hi, sweet girl?" Mika asks her daughter and she babbles at her brother.

"Look at her! She loves that thing!" Joe says as he begins to eat.

"Madi hungwry?" Elijah asks wanting to give Madi a French fry.

"Not yet! I'm going to make her a bottle soon!" Mika says to Elijah with a grin.

"She can't have French fries yet, bud!" Joe says as he chuckles.

"Why not?" Elijah says with a sad look.

"Because she's too little and doesn't have enough teeth." Mika explains.

"She'll have some soon though! Next time we get McFlurry's we should give her a bite!" Joe says as Elijah giggles and smiles.

"Aaaaa!" Madi squeals with excitement.

"You're first taste of an ice cream treat! Yeah!" Mika says happily.

Elijah, Mika and Joe eat their lunch while Madi happily jumps up and down in her bouncy seat.

After Mika eats, Mika picks up Madi and begins to make Madi a bottle.

"Aaa aaa aaa!" Madi squeals loudly as she claps her hands.

"I'm making it! I'm making it, baby!" Mika says to Madi.

"Hurry up, Meek! The princess is hungry!" Joe says playfully.

"Jeez, you three are impatient." Mika says while smiling and rolling her eyes.

Mika makes Madi her bottle and sits down.

"Ready, baby? Here you go." Mika says as she begins to feed Madi her bottle.

"Daddy!" Elijah says running over to Joe with a smile.

"Hmm?" Joe says to Elijah, waiting for Elijah's question.

"What you do in Irewand?" Elijah asks Joe curiously.

"What did I do in Ireland? I interviewed President Joe Biden, President Bill Clinton and Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton! We were celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement!" Joe says as he sits Elijah in his lap.

"Ooooooo! Did anyone else go to Irewand with Bill and Hill?" Elijah asks with curiosity.

"President Biden's son Jacob! The Clinton's baby girl Hope! Remember Hope? And then, former Vice President Al Gore and his wife Tipper. Oh and their little boy Jack came too!" Joe explains to Elijah.

"Jakey! Wuv Jakey! Jack Jack and Hopey! Best fwiends wike Billie and me!" Elijah says while holding his hands up.

"That's right, Elijah. You know that baby Jack has the same name as your brother. He was named after his mommy's dad. And Jacob loves you! You two are great friends!" Mika says as Madi Jo smiles through her bottle.

"Mmmm hmmm." Elijah says while nodding his head.

"I know, princess. You can't wait to see them again, huh? They all love you!" Mika says in a babyfied voice while Madi tries to hold her bottle.

"How about that? She's trying to hold her bottle!" Joe says as he takes a picture of his wife and daughter.

"Hillary was the one that got Madi Jo her outfit, right? It's so cute!" Joe asks while smiling at his daughter.

"Yup! Hillary got it and the shoes for Madi and Tipper bought the little purse and bow! Even though Madi won't exactly use the purse, she is a little fashionista. We gotta thank them and their husbands!" Mika says with a smile.

"Maybe when she's done with her bottle, I can take a picture of her and post it to Instagram!" Joe says as Madi finishes her bottle.

"That's a great idea!" Mika says as she shows Joe a picture of them on her iPhone from the White House Easter Egg Roll!

"That was so much fun! And it was so good to have all the babies together!" Joe says with happiness.

Mika burps Madi before handing her to Joe to hold for the picture.

"Smile, pretty girl!" Mika says as Madi smiles big, looking just like Mika.

"I get picture taken too!" Elijah says as he twirls around.

"You can join too! Let me hold you too!" Joe says as he picks up Elijah, grunting a little.

"Okay! 1, 2, 3!" Mika says as she takes pictures of Elijah, Joe, and Madi Jo.

"Daddy? Go swim?" Elijah asks.

"Sure, bud. Is your stomach feeling okay? I don't want you to throw up when we go in the pool." Joe asks Elijah with a smile.

"Uh huh!" Elijah says as he smiles.

"But let's wait a few minutes. Make sure your tummy is settled." Mika says to Elijah.

"Otay!" Elijah says as he gets excited.

Suddenly, Joe hears his phone ring.

"Who is it?" Mika asks Joe curiously.

"Yikes! It's Hillary! I forgot to text her letting her know I made it back to Florida!" Joe says with wide eyes.

"Then I suggest you answer it. You don't keep the former Secretary of State waiting." Mika says while winking at her husband and Madi Jo babbles at her daddy. Wanting to see her baby friends, Jack and Hope!

"Right." Joe says and he answers the FaceTime call. Starting what's sure to be a fun conversation with the Clintons and the Gores!

Mika and Joe talk with the Clinton and Gores for a while and let Elijah and Madi see Jack and Hope!

After the FaceTime call, Mika, Elijah, Madi and Joe all go swimming and spend the rest of the day together as a family, happy to be all together again! :)
