January 4th, 2020

It is a beautiful Saturday morning in the Brzezinski-Scarborough household!

Joe slowly walks downstairs getting his Saturday morning started. Joe usually likes to sleep in until 8-10am, depends on the day! Today he woke up at 10am.

Usually, Mika likes to go on a run every single day. Mika loves running five to seven miles a day and it's something she really enjoys.

However, the past two weeks Mika has only ran a handful of times and the rest of the day she wants to lay down.

Currently, Mika is laying on the couch and she is fast asleep. Mika did go on a two mile run which she really enjoyed but now she is exhausted.

Joe walks into the kitchen and he sees the four girls  Emilie, Emilie G, Kate and Carlie all sitting at the kitchen island together enjoying breakfast together!

"Morning, Dad!" Kate says loudly at her father as she hugs him tightly.

"Good morning, Joe!" Emilie G says with her big ole smile

"Good morning!" Emilie says in a chipper mood.

"Helloooo, stepfather." Carlie says playfully to Joe.

"Good morning, girls! Mmm, breakfast looks good! Did you save some for me?" Joe says to the girls as he begins to make himself a coffee.

"We didn't save any for ya, sorry!" Kate says as she laughs at her dad causing Joe to pout playfully back at her.

"Yeah, we know you would eat it all." Carlie says to Joe.

"No I wouldn't! You know your mom wants me to eat healthier, which sucks." Joe says causing the girls to laugh.

"Yeah, she wants to get rid of all of the good food." Emilie G says with a giggle.

"Where is Jack and William?" Joe asks looking for the boys.

"They are in the garage playing table tennis! You didn't hear them screaming at each other?" Kate says causing the three other girls to laugh.

"You know I can sleep through anything. Is Mika back from running?" Joe says as he gets his coffee cup and pours his coffee inside of it.

"Yeah she is on the couch sleeping!" Emilie G says with a smile.

"We are going to go swimming and we might go shopping later!" Carlie says happily.

"Okay, well let me or your mom know!" Joe says as the four girls put their breakfast dishes in the sink and then they all go upstairs.

Joe walks over to the living room with his morning coffee and sees Mika fast asleep.

Joe leans against the door frame and continues to sip on his morning coffee. Joe watches his wife peacefully asleep for a while and smiles at her.

Joe just loves Mika so freaking much and he could watch her all day if he could.

Mika stirs in her sleep and slowly opens her eyes, getting hit by the sunlight immediately.

"Good morning, beautiful." Joe says and walks over to Mika with a smile.

Joe tenderly kisses her on the forehead and strokes her blonde hair, causing her to smile.

"Did you get tired from your run this morning?" Joe asks Mika as he sits down next to her on the couch.

Mika slowly nods and smiles up at him, causing Joe to smile as well. Joe finds a sleepy Mika extremely adorable.

"I did. I was just supposed to relax a bit on the couch but I guess I must have fell asleep." Mika says and yawns, she rubbing Joe's leg and leans in to him.

Joe wraps his arm around Mika as he puts his coffee cup down on the coffee table. Joe then brings Mika in to a big bear hug which Mika loves.

"Is there anything I can do for you, honey? I've noticed you been so tired lately." Joe says and kisses Mika on the head.

"No, you don't need to do anything, honey. Thank you for asking though, you are very sweet. I don't know I'm so tired lately. I feel like ever since December I've just felt tired and not myself. I only ran two miles today and not my usual five. You know how much I love to run." Mika says to Joe and Joe nods, listening to Mika.

"I know you love to run. I think you are a little obsessed with it honestly." Joe says playfully as Mika softly smacks his arm before she lays her head on his chest.

"Where are the kids at?" Mika asks Joe, wondering where the six kids are.

"The girls are going to swim and then they might all go out shopping. The boys are playing table tennis in the garage." Joe says to Mika, continuing to play with her hair.

"Oh, that's so so sweet! I love when they do things together. It seems like they are starting to all feel like siblings." Mika says and fingers Joe's shirt with a smile.

"They do! I think they all enjoy each other's company." Joe says and strokes the soft skin behind Mika's ear with his thumb.

Mika then pats on Joe's chest and sits up, smiling at him before giving him a sweet kiss.

"I think I better get some breakfast. I didn't have anything before I ran." Mika says and stands up to go into the kitchen.

"Then maybe that's why you are tired. You need to fuel the body before you try to burn the fuel, Mika! Your not twenty anymore." Joe says as he follows her into the kitchen.

"Ha! Thanks for the reminder, baby! It's really helpful." Mika chuckles at Joe as she takes down a plate from the kitchen cabinet.

"And you are not twenty either, mister! You are older than me." Mika says as Joe tickles Mika and she laughs loudly.

"Oh shoot, I forgot." Joe says as he wraps his arms around Mika's waist, squeezing her tightly causing Mika to blush.

Joe then kisses up and down Mika's neck, causing Mika to giggle.

"Joe, stop it!" Mika says as Joe continues to kiss her neck.

Joe then playfully grabs Mika's boobs and Mika yelps a little.

"Did I hurt you? I didn't mean to hurt you. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Joe says with some worry.

"No no! You didn't hurt me. My boobs have just been really sensitive lately. It's really weird." Mika says and Joe smiles.

"They look more hot and bigger too." Joe says as he kisses Mika's shoulder.

"Oh my gosh, Joe! You are so gross!" Mika says playfully to Joe.

"What? I'm just complimenting my gorgeous wife that's all." Joe says as he continues to hold onto Mika's waist and lays his head on her shoulder as she cooks some scrambled eggs.

"Do you want some eggs, honey?" Mika asks Joe, kissing his cheek.

"I'd rather have you.... but yes please." Joe says, placing a few kisses on Mika's shoulder causing her to blush as he feels him pull her even closer.

"Not now. Not when the kids are here and awake." Mika says scoldingly to Joe, and he pleases with his eyes.

"You can have me tonight if you want." Mika winks at Joe and presses her body against his causing Joe to blush.

"You are a naughty little girl." Joe mumbles against her skin as he places a few kisses on Mika's neck.

Mika plates her and Joe's eggs and Joe let's go of her, as they walk over to the table.

"Thank you for breakfast, honey. I love you so much." Joe says as he kisses Mika a few times.

"You're welcome, darling. I have been on an egg kick lately." Mika says as she sips on her water.

"Eggs are healthy so of course you have a kick with them." Joe says as Mika giggles.

"Oh, stop. You look great! You have lost fifteen pounds since being married to me. I must be doing something right." Mika says with a smirk at Joe.

"It's just because you want me fit for yourself." Joe says and chuckles at Mika.

Mika hits him playfully on the arm as she places her dishes in the sink.

"I want you to live a long and happy life with me!" Mika says with a smirk, defending herself.

"And I'm glad you do! I want to spend every minute of my life with you." Joe says and brings Mika into his arms, kissing her a few times.

"I really need to take a shower, even though that run wasn't as far as usual it really took everything out off me." Mika says and Joe release his grip on her.

"Maybe you should go to the doctor, sweety. You never had all of these problems before and I'm a little worried about you." Joe says as he rubs Mika's face softly.

"If all of my symptoms continue for another week I will. I promise you." Mika says as she hugs Joe tightly.

"What if you have that virus that is in China right now? Coronavirus or something it's called." Joe says to Mika.

"Joe, that virus isn't even in the United States and we haven't been to China so I think we are in the clear." Mika says as she kisses Joe.

"What if you are pregnant, that would be super hilarious." Joe says with a chuckle.

"No, it wouldn't! And I'm too old anyway." Mika says to Joe playfully.

"Don't underestimate me and my boys." Joe says and winks at Mika.

"Ugh, don't even start!" Mika says and shakes her head at Joe.

"We are far too old to have a baby." Mika adds and kisses Joe once more before heading up to the master bathroom.

"I love you!" Joe shouts after her as Mika walks up the stairs.

Mika turns around and smiles at him before walking out of his sight. Joe sits down on the couch and Meatball walks over to him.

"Hi, kitty cat! Have you eaten today?" Joe asks Meatball as he rubs the cat's head.

Meatball meows in response and hops down on the floor and goes into the kitchen.

"It seems like they're all leaving me alone." Joe sighs to himself as he stands up to go upstairs to meet Mika once she leaves the shower.

Joe sits on the master bed reading the newspaper as Mika walks out of the master bedroom with her hair up in a towel and wearing Joe's dark blue robe.

"You look super hot in my robe." Joe says causing Mika to giggle.

"Oh, stop! Your robe is nice and comfy and smells like you so that's why I decided to wear it." Mika says to Joe.

"What do you wanna do today?" Joe says as he watches Mika walk into the closet to find something to wear.

"I don't know! We should start taking the Christmas decorations down. I kinda want to stay home or close by just in case the kids need us." Mika says to Joe.

"You are such a wonderful mom, honorary mom and stepmom. All of the kids are so lucky to have you." Joe says to Mika and Mika turns around, smiling at Joe.

"They are so lucky to have you too, darling." Mika says and picks out a sweater from her closet.

"Do you want to start in the living room or outside?" Joe asks as he walks up to Mika and puts his arms around her waist.

"It doesn't matter to me, we can start wherever you like." Mika says and Joe kisses her temple.

"Let's start outside, then so we can put the big stuff in the back of the garage." Joe says and gives her a kiss on the neck.

"Stop it, Joe! I said tonight! You'll have to wait!" Mika says and giggles at Joe's attempts.

"I just want you." Joe sighs in the back of Mika's hair.

"You'll have me later. Now we need to get down to the kids" Mika says and kisses Joe before she takes her hand and walks him out of the master bedroom causing Joe and Mika to both laugh.

For the rest of the day, Mika and Joe begin to clean their house, putting all of the Christmas decorations away! :)
