"Elijah, come here baby! Let's get our shoes on! We are going bye byes!" Mika says as she picks up Elijah's little tennis shoes and unties them

"Bye byes! Yay!" Elijah runs over to Mika and sits down next to her.

Mika begins to put Elijah's shoes on despite him wiggling around. Mika straps the velcro on each shoe before fixing his hair. 

*Elijah's outfit*

"Yeah! We are going to get some Starbucks and then go to the grocery store to get a few things! Meatball needs some food." Mika says to Elijah as she kisses him.

"Meatball food!" Elijah says as he sees Meatball sleeping by Joe's feet on the couch.

"Yeah, he's needs some more cat food and some treats. He's sad." Mika says as she stands up and walks over to the kitchen to fill up the diaper bag with drinks and snacks.

"Sad!" Elijah says as he pouts a little.

"Yeah, he's sad about Lil Cat. They were best friends." Mika says as she pours some apple juice into Elijah's sippy cup while Elijah hugs her leg.

"Lil Cat up with Bamba." Elijah says, pointing up to the ceiling.

"He is with Bamba, that's right baby. Bamba and Lil Cat are together with Chief and Elijah." Mika says to Elijah.

"Not me!" Elijah says hearing Mika saying his name.

"Not you! But Daddy and I's friend Elijah. Remember? You are named after him because he was very special." Mika says, kissing Elijah's forehead.

"Uh huh!" Elijah says as he smiles up at Mika.

"Okay, let's go tell Daddy goodbye and then we can go bye byes." Mika says as Elijah cheers.

"Where's my boy?" Joe asks excitingly.

"Daddy!" Elijah says as he quickly runs to Joe and Joe picks him up.

"You ready to go spend the day with Mommy?" Joe asks him.

"Yeah!" Elijah says happily.

"But before we go, there's two special people we need to call. You know who those two people are Elijah?" Mika asks her son with a grin.

"Ya!" Elijah says as he dances around.

Joe and Mika first call Bill Clinton to wish him a happy birthday and then they called Tipper Gore!

Joe and Mika have gotten closer to people from the other side of the political aisle ever since 2017. Joe never thought he would be friends with the man he wanted impeached but here we are.

"You did such a great job on the phone!" Mika says, kissing Elijah.

"Tank you, Mommy!" Elijah says with a smile.

"Okay, you two. Get going!" Joe says as he kisses his wife and son before they head out the door.

"What are you going to do, mister?" Mika asks Joe with a smirk as she rubs his chest.

"Probably take a nap since I'm old but maybe I'll do some chores. Jack is coming over this weekend after being with his mom a few days so it will be nice to hang out with him one on one." Joe says as Mika smiles.

"You're not getting older, Joe. You're getting wiser." Mika says playfully.

"Hush!" Joe says as he proceeds to wrap his arms around his wife and kiss her again.

"Ewwww!" Elijah says while covering his eyes.

"What silly? I'm just giving Mommy some kisses because I love her. And I love you too!" Joe says as he gives Elijah a kiss.

Meatball walks over and meows causing Mika to smile.

"Aww, Meatball wants a hug and a kiss." Mika says as Elijah happily runs over to hug and kiss Meatball.

Joe smiles as he feels his and Mika's baby girl kicking and moving around.

At the end of June, Mika and Joe had a small gender reveal party with just family and close friends. At the party, they revealed that they were having a baby girl.

Mika and Joe announced their baby girls name - which is Madeleine Jo Scarborough. Madeleine after Madeleine Albright and Jo after Joe's mom's middle name.

But since Mika's mother passed away, they added a name to their baby girl's name, Emilie. Madeleine Emilie Jo Scarborough.

"Let's go sweetie. It's time for a mom and son day!" Mika says as Joe puts Elijah in his car seat, buckling him in.

"Yay! Mama!" Elijah says in response with a big smile

"You two be safe. If you need anything, just call!" Joe says as he opens the car door for Mika and kisses her again before she sits down in the seat.

"We will. Love you, honey!" Mika says as she starts the car up and backs out of the driveway.

"Bye Daddy!" Elijah says as he waved goodbye to Joe.

"See ya!" Joe answers back and waves as Mika's car drives away.

Mika begins to drive and Elijah looks out the window.

"Mama!" Elijah says as he kicks his feet happily.

"Yes, baby boy?" Mika says with a smile at her toddler boy.

"Ar bucks!" Elijah says with excitement.

"We are going to Starbucks! Do you want a frappuccino?" Mika asks Elijah.

"Ya! Whip cwream!" Elijah says with a grin.

"Yes, it will have whip cream on it. Mmm!" Mika says as Elijah giggles.

"Cake pop too!" Elijah says as he claps his hands.

"Which cake pop flavor do you want?" Mika asks Elijah softly.

"Chocowate!" Elijah answers happily in response.

"Ooo! If they don't have that one, would you like birthday cake?" Mika asks Elijah.

"Ya!" Elijah says as he plays with his toy he brought.

"I know that's a favorite of yours too!" Mika says with a big smile.

"Wuv you, Mama!" Elijah says randomly causing Mika to smile.

"I love you too!" Mika says blowing Elijah a kiss

Even two years later, Mika and Joe still can't believe they have a child together at their ages and when all of their kids are almost grown up.

However, Mika and Joe couldn't imagine their lives without Elijah and now without their baby girl Madi Jo.

Mika and Elijah pull up at the Starbucks and Mika finds a parking spot,

"Look! We are here! Do you wanna go inside?" Mika asks Elijah.

"Yes, Mama." Elijah says back.

"Okay When I get you out of your car seat, I need you to hold Mommy's hand. Can you do that?" Mika asks Elijah as she turns the car off and gets out.

Mika comes around and helps Elijah out of his car seat and he holds her hand, standing close to his Mommy.

"Woah!" Elijah says as he looks around the small store.

"You haven't been in one have you? Daddy always goes through the drive thru." Mika says with a chuckle through her mask.

Elijah smiles as he looks around at all of the people and workers while he and Mika wait in line.

"Ooo!" Elijah says, picking up a gradient Starbucks cup.

"You like that cup? It's very pretty, isn't it?" Mika says as Elijah holds the cup.

"This cup is a little too big for you, baby." Mika says as she plays with his red hair.

"You!" Elijah says handing the cup to Mika.

"Aww, you wanna get it for me? Do you have ten dollars?" Mika asks Elijah playfully.

"No." Elijah says while giggling at Mika.

"I didn't think so, little one." Mika says with a smile.

Mika orders two frappuccinos, a small size mocha cookie crumble for Elijah and a grande size caramel ribbon crunch for her, two bacon, Gouda, and egg sandwiches and two cake pops. A cookie dough one for her and a birthday cake one for Elijah.

The two then go sit down to enjoy their treats together.

"Mmmmm!" Elijah says as he takes a bite of his breakfast sandwich.

"Is that good, Eli?" Mika asks her son and Elijah nods his head yes.

"I'm so glad you like it! You must have been hungry. You having a spurt, huh?" Mika says as Elijah giggles.

"Here's your sippy cup too if you want that too." Mika says as Elijah grins.

"Tank you, Mama." Elijah says happily.

"You're welcome." Mika says with a smile at Elijah.

After taking a couple of pictures, the two head to the grocery store next to buy a few things, including some fruit.

"Oooooooo!" Elijah says looking at all the colors

"I know, bud. So much fruit! Do you wanna pick out something?" Mika asks him.

"Dat!" Elijah says as he stands on his tippy toes and picks a pink fruit.

"Ooo, what is that? That's a Starfruit! I never seen this before! Let's get it to try!" Mika says as Elijah cheers.

"Yay!" Elijah says as he begins to run around.

"Elijah Zbigniew, stay with me please. Don't wander away." Mika says as Elijah walks back over to her.

"Aww, how old is he?" An old lady says with bright white hair and a floral top.

"He just turned two on the eleventh!" Mika says as Elijah hides and acts shy. 

"Oh m my goodness, I thought he was a kindergartner!" The old lady as she chuckles and smiles at Elijah.

"I know, he is a tall boy! His dad is over six foot and all of his siblings on his dad's side are tall!" Mika says as she rubs Elijah's head.

The old lady waves at Elijah and Elijah waves back before wandering around.

"Mama? I want a starfruit." Elijah tells his mom.

"What's the magic word, Eli?" Mika asks her with a smile.

"Pwease?" Elijah answers back with big eyes.

"Good boy. We can get some!" Mika says as Elijah smiles.

"Mama! A doggy!" Elijah says as he jumps up and down and points at the dog.

"That is a doggy! That's a service dog! The doggy is helping the woman walk around the store." Mika tries to explain to Elijah and Elijah smiles.

"I hug doggy!" Elijah says and Mika stops him.

"No, we can't touch the doggy while he's working okay? He is a service dog, meaning he helps his owner do things!" Mika says to Elijah.

"Oh, otay, Mommy." Elijah says softly

"That's my boy. Eli, look at at what else I see! Green Granny Smith apples. You love those with peanut butter! " Mika says with a big smile.

"Apples and nanas!" Elijah sings happily.

"We can get some bananas too! Your sissys ate them all when they were visiting us." Mika says to Elijah and Elijah smiles.

Elijah then looks at the service dog who is now right next to him. Elijah begins to pet the dog before Mika stops him.

"No no, we don't pet the doggy remember?" Mika says to Elijah and Elijah giggles.

"It's okay! He is just training and is just learning how to be in a grocery store! This is Brody!" The young lady says with a big smile.

"Hi, Brody." Elijah says happily and the dog wags his tail

"His wagging his tail, Elijah. He likes you!" Mika says with a smile and Elijah giggles while he pets Brody some more.

"Well, we have to go now. Mika, I watch you on Morning Joe all the time and I'm so happy for you and Joe having a baby girl. Your parents would be so proud and they still are. Never forget that." The young lady says with a smile.

"Thank you so much for watching! Young people yourself are going to change this country for the better." Mika says and Elijah smiles.

"You must be Elijah! I think my mom told me it was your birthday the other day!" The young lady waits a grin.

"Uh huh! I two!" Elijah says holding up two fingers.

"I know that, sweetie. Your mommy and daddy post pictures and videos of you on social media all the time. You make everyone smile. If it's ok with you, can I take a picture with you two?" The young lady asks Elijah and Mika.

"Of course!" Mika says as she takes the selfie with the young lady.

Mika then takes a picture of Elijah and Brody the dog.

"Okay, baby, let's finish grocery shopping!" Mika says as Elijah cheers.

Mika and Elijah wave goodbye to the young lady and Brody and finish shopping at the fruit and produce section.

"Meatball food, Mama!" Elijah says with a grin.

"That's right, we need to get Meatball some food! Thank you for reminding Mama." Mika says with a cheeky grin.

"Mmmhmmm!" Elijah says while he nods his head.

Mika and Elijah walk around and get the last few things that was on Mika's list.

Once the two make it to check out, Elijah sees a bunch of candy. Mika was happy that Elijah was on his best behavior, so she let him pick a treat for being good.

"You did such a good job listening to mama that I'll let you pick out some candy. What would you like, baby?" Mika asks her son with a smile

"Lollipop!" Elijah says while pointing at one.

"Ooo, that looks yummy! Put it up here so we can pay for it, okay?" Mika says to Elijah and Elijah happily puts the lollipop on the belt.

"Wuv you Mama!" Elijah says with a cheeky smile.

"I love you too, baby! I love you always." Mika says kissing Elijah's forehead.

Once they are finished at the grocery store and all of the groceries are in the trunk, Mika loads up Elijah in his car seat.

"Do you wanna go to the park or the beach?" Mika asks Elijah.

"The beach!" Elijah says happily.

"That settles it. The beach was also one of Bamba's favorite places to go." Mika says with a smile.

"Bamba!" Elijah says as he smiles about Bamba then quickly getting sad.

"Yeah, Bamba. I know you miss her so much. So do I, baby." Mika says as she kisses Elijah and makes sure he is buckled before getting in the car. 

Mika and Elijah go on another long drive before arriving at Jupiter Beach.

"We're here, sweety!" Mika says as she turns the car off.

Elijah wakes up from his cat nap and begins to rub his eyes.

"Hi, sleepy. You fell asleep!" Mika says as she smiles at Elijah and gives him lots of kisses.

"Mama, beach!" Elijah says, pointing out the window.

"Yeah! That is the beach! Let's go find some seashells for your sisters! All four of them love seashells." Mika says as she fixes Elijah's hair.

"Oooooo!" Elijah says with a surprised look on his face as Mika gets him out of his car seat

"And I just so happened to bring our swimsuits! Let's go put them on!" Mika says as she grabs the bag with their swimwear along with Elijah's backpack.

"Yay!" Elijah says happily as he proceeds to hold his mom's hand.

Mika and Elijah walk over to the changing tent and change into their bathing suits before they walk around in the sand.

Elijah wobbles around in the sand, never walking in sand really.

"Mama?" Elijah asks Mika with a smile.

"Yes, sweetie?" Mika answers in response

"Shells!" Elijah says as he points at some seashells he sees in the sand.

"Ooo! Let's go get some!" Mika says as she and Elijah walk over to the shells.

"Woah!" Elijah says with excitement.

"Wow, Eli! They are so pretty. Let's put them in the sand bucket!" Mika says as Elijah picks up some shells and puts them in the sand bucket.

"I wike dat one!" Elijah says with a cheeky grin.

"Yeah, this one is really big. If you put it to your ear, you can hear the ocean. Listen." Mika says as she helps Elijah hold the huge seashell to his ear

"Wow!" Elijah says with big eyes as he hears the sound of the ocean in the seashell.

"We can put this one in your bedroom if you like!" Mika says, causing Elijah to get excited.

Elijah then picks up a seashell and hands it to Mika.

"Yours Mama." Elijah says as he kisses Mika's cheek.

"Aww, this is mine? Thank you, baby. I love you." Mika says as she gives Elijah some kisses.

"Wuv you, Mama!" Elijah says with a smile

"You wanna build a sand castle now?" Mika asks her son.

"Yeah!" Elijah says as he and Mika start to work on the sand castle.

A little later, Elijah wants to run to the ocean to get water for his sand castle, but Mika stops him.

"Hold it, you little track star. I don't want the ocean to sweep you away. Let's go together, okay?" Mika says sternly but in a soft tone of voice.

"Otay!" Elijah says as he and Mika walk over to the ocean together.

"Great job filling up your bucket! You are such a big boy." Mika says as she smiles at Elijah.

"You two want some help?" Joe says as he and Jack walk up to them.

"Joe...." Mika says as she runs right into her hubby's arms while Elijah runs to Jack.

"Jackkkkk!" Elijah says as Jack picks him up and tickles him.

"Hi!" Jack says as Elijah giggles loudly.

"What are you doing here?" Mika asks Joe as she rubs his cheeks.

"I can't surprise my beautiful wife?" Joe asks Mika as he kisses her twice.

Mika giggles and smiles at Joe as she hugs Joe tightly.

"I saw that you took your swimsuit and Elijah's swim trunks so I knew you were probably coming here. Jack and I wanted to join you two." Joe says, kissing Mika again.

"Daddy! Sand astle!" Elijah says with excitement.

"Are you making sandcastles with Mommy?" Joe asks Elijah.

"Ya! And shwells!" Elijah says, clapping his hands.

"Elijah and I have some seashells to bring home!" Mika says with a big grin at Joe.

"Jack Jack! Pway!" Elijah says as he holds Jack's hand.

"Okay! Let's play." Jack says with a cheeky smile.

After the four them build a couple sand castles, Jack and Elijah go swim in the ocean with Joe and Mika watching on from the shore.

The two brothers then get out of the sea and proceed to watch the sunset.

"Jack?" Elijah asks Jack.

"Yes, Eli?" Jack answers back in response.

"Miss Bamba." Elijah says with a sad look on his face.

"Aww, I'm sorry. I miss her too." Jack says as he hugs Elijah.

"Miss Wil Cat." Elijah says to Jack.

"And I miss Little Cat too." Jack says as he picks up Elijah and holds him.

"Woah! A boat!" Elijah says, distracted and not sad anymore.

Grief is a different thing for a little two year old.  He just doesn't understand anything just yet but he will one day. 

"I see the boat! It's bigger than our boat!" Jack says as Elijah giggles.

"What are you two boys looking at?" Joe asks his sons as he and Mika walk over to them.

"The boat out there!" Jack says as Elijah giggles.

"Daddy wook!" Elijah says to Joe as he points in the water.

"Oh wow! That's a really big boat!" Joe says to Elijah.

"Ya!" Elijah says as he giggles.

Mika smiles and softly kisses Joe twice.

"I love you." Mika says to Joe.

"And I love you back. Both of you." Joe says in response as he puts his hand on his wife's belly.

That's when their baby girl decides to kick, causing Mika to smile ear to ear.

"Did you feel that? She's kicking!" Mika says in excitement.

"I sure do! Miss Madi loves to kick and move around after giving us a scare a few weeks ago. Must have learned that from Mommy." Joe says as Mika playfully smacks Joe.

A few weeks ago, Mika had a labor scare where she was having contractions and didn't feel Madi Jo move around. Luckily, Mika was just dehydrated and stressed due to the death of Bamba and both she and Madi Jo are healthy and happy!

"Oh stop it!" Mika says as she giggles.

"I'm just so glad you two are fine, I was really worried." Joe says as he rubs Mika's chin and smiles at her.

"I know you were. You didn't want Madi coming early just like Jack did." Mika says to Joe.

"I heard that." Jack says playfully while holding Elijah's hand.

"Of course you did. I'm just glad you and your mom were okay in the end. Love you, buddy." Joe answers back before hugging his boys.

"I love you too, Dad." Jack says with a grin.

"Wuv you, Daddy!" Elijah says excitingly.

"And I love you. You wanna give your baby sister a kiss?" Joe asks Elijah.

"Yes, pwease." Elijah answers back. Remembering to use his manners

"That's my boy. Come to Mommy." Mika says as Jack puts Elijah down so he can run to his mom.

Elijah runs over to Mika and hugs her before giving her baby bump a kiss.

"Wuv you Adi Jo Jo!" Elijah says as he leans against Mika's belly, only for his baby sister to kick him in the face.

Mika, Joe and Jack all chuckle at Elijah's face.

"Did sissy kick you? She didn't mean too. She's just saying hello and that she loves you!" Mika says as she rubs Elijah's face and Elijah smiles.

"I wuv her too." Elijah says with a smile.

"Elijah! Look at the sun shining on the ocean. Isn't it beautiful?" Joe asks his son.

"Uh huh!" Elijah says as he yawns.

"Someone is getting sleepy." Mika whispers as she smiles at Elijah.

Joe carefully picks up Elijah and holds him, with Elijah laying his head down on his shoulder.

"Have you two eaten dinner yet?" Mika asks Jack and Joe

"Not yet. It's 7 o'clock now. And I know a good place we can go to eat. Sinclair's Ocean Grill." Joe says with a smile.

"Ooooo! That's a good suggestion. Ana Navarro and I went there several times before and their food is good. What do you think Jack?" Mika asks him.

"I'm all in. And it's on the oceanfront too so we'll be able to see the sunset!" Jack says happily.

"Mama. I hungwy." Elijah says while laying on his dad's shoulder.

"I know you are, bud. And we have a baby girl growing inside me that needs to be fed." Mika says with a smile at her son.

"Someone didn't take a n-a-p so hopefully they aren't grumpy." Joe says as Mika smiles.

"He'll probably fall asleep during the ride there, hopefully another little cat nap and then eating dinner will get him to sleep tonight." Mika says, rubbing Elijah's cheek.

"I told you and dad that he was up until 11pm, then you and dad were grumpy for the show." Jack says with a giggle.

"Jeez, Jack. Way to put us on the spot. By the way, how did you two get here if you didn't drive your car?" Mika asks Joe

"We wanted to surprise you, so I asked Susan to drive us here." Joe says with a smile

"Well that explains it. Susan coming through like she always does. I just recognized that there's a locker room with showers near here. Let's go there, get out of these swimsuits, wash up, and put our clothes on. Then we can go to dinner." Mika says to her boys.

"Great! I know we took plenty of pictures today, but can we take a few more? Please?" Jack asks with big eyes.

"Sure! There's still some people on the beach and we could ask someone to take pictures of the four of us." Joe tells his son.

After taking a few more pictures and selfies on the beach, the four head to the locker room to freshen up.

After having dinner at Sinclair's Ocean Grill, Joe decides to drive them home to give Mika a break after she drove most of the day.

By the time they arrive home, Elijah is asleep and Jack is also getting tired.

"Mika? I'll carry Elijah inside and get him ready for bed. You two just focus on getting the bags out the car." Jack says to her and his dad.

"I really appreciate you, Jack. Thank you!" Mika says as she kisses his forehead before ruffling his hair.

"Hey! Not the hair." Jack says in annoyance and Elijah giggles after waking up.

"Hi, Mama." Elijah says sleepily.

"Hi, baby. You slept the whole car ride home." Mika says as she kisses Elijah on the forehead.

"Alright, Elijah. Let's go inside." Jack says as he carries his brother inside the house.

By the time Joe and Mika go inside the house and are in their pajamas ready for bed themselves, it's just after 10 pm. They didn't hear Jack and Elijah talking anymore and decide to go check on them.

What they see is a wonderful sight. Jack and Elijah are fast asleep on Jack's bed.

"Oh my gosh, look. The boys are asleep." Mika whispers to her husband and she leans on the doorframe.

"Should we move Elijah to his bed?" Joe asks Mika.

"No, he's fine. Jack will make sure he doesn't fall. Plus they both look comfy, don't want to bother them." Mika says as Joe nods and smiles at her.

"Let's get to bed, beautiful. Do you want a foot massage or back massage tonight?" Joe asks Mika with a smirk.

"Definitely a foot massage. My feet are killing me. And could you put my body cream on my feet please? Mika says quietly as she kisses Joe.

"Whatever my wife wants is what she gets. Your wish is my command." Joe quietly answers back.

Joe proceeds to gently get the book Jack read to Elijah off his bed. Mika also gets a throw blanket from Jack's closet and covers the boys with it since they're sleeping on the comforter and doesn't wanna disturb them. The two then kiss the boys on their foreheads before turning Jack's lamp off and gently closing the door.

"Teamwork makes the dream work, right?" Mika asks her husband.

"Exactly. How about we call Susan to let her know we safely made it home?" Joe says in response.

Mika nods and sends Susan a text that they are all home safely and also a picture with Jack and Elijah sleeping.

Susan's text in response: "Best Friends 🥰"

"Gosh, she is so sweet." Mika says with a smile on her face.

"I agree. And people say that ex-wives or husbands can't be family. That's not the case here and it's what adults should do. Put their differences aside to support their kids." Joe says to his wife.

"We are very lucky with our exes that's for sure." Mika says as she and Joe sit down on the bed and kiss each other and smile.

Mika then gets another text message notification. This time, it's a message from Tipper Gore. Vice President Al Gore's wife. Mika reads what it says before she replies.

Tipper: "Just saw your picture of Jack and Elijah sleeping on Instagram. Literally reminding me of Little Al and Sienna all over again when they were young. Best friends. 🥺🥰"

Mika: "Thank you so much! Hope you and Bill had an awesome birthday! 🤗"

Tipper: "You're welcome. And yes, we did. I also have some even better news to share. It will be posted on Instagram this weekend so stay tuned. Talk to you soon! 😁"

Mika: "Bet on it. And once again, happy birthday! 🥳"

Tipper: "Thank you ❤️"

"Man, that woman has been a great source of comfort since losing my mom." Mika says with a grin.

"I agree. It's just like Sienna and Renee said. She's a mother figure to everyone. Blood related or not." Joe answers back to his wife as he continues to rub body cream on Mika's feet.

"Mmm, that feels so good. Thank you, baby." Mika says as she smiles at Joe.

"You are very welcome. Elijah was talking about Devi and Jacob's birthday party when you were still sleeping this morning." Joe says as Mika giggles.

"He had so much fun and I'm so glad he did." Mika says to Joe.

"So am I. How's our little princess now? Is she behaving?" Joe asks her.

Mika smiles and rubs her baby bump, feeling Madi Jo wiggle and kick around.

"She is wiggling around in there. I think she is trying to get comfortable and ready for bed." Mika says as Joe smiles and wipes the cream off of his hands and rubs Mika's baby bump.

"I love you, Madi Jo. Daddy loves you. You have to stay in there until November okay? Any day in November you can come out." Joe says to Mika's baby bump.

Mika then starts to yawn, indicating that she's getting tired.

"Is my wife getting sleepy?" Joe asks her playfully.

"Yes. Could you bring me some Oreo cookies and milk? Please?" Mika says in response with big eyes

"Sure. A little sweet treat for us before we go to sleep. I'll be right back." Joe says as he kisses his wife and heads downstairs.

Mika smiles and rubs her baby bump.

"We are two lucky girls, Madi. So many amazing people in our lives." Mika says with a smile.

"Meow. Meow." Meatball says as he jumps up on the bed and lays by Mika.

"Hi, Meatball. Hi, sweet boy." Mika says petting Meatball's head.

Meatball gets a little bored and decides to hop of the bed and lay on his own. Going to sleep.

"Look what I got." Joe says happily while carrying a tray with two glasses of milk and some Oreo cookies into their room.

Mika chuckles and smiles at Joe.

"Mmm, they look so good, thank you." Mika says to Joe happily.

"You are welcome! And hello Meatball. Are you getting comfy?" Joe says to Mika and Meatball.

"Meatball has been loving Lil Cats bed. It breaks my heart." Mika says to Joe.

"I know it breaks my heart too but it makes him comfy and happy. And we should her Lil Cats ashes soon." Joe says as he hands Mika the cookies and milk.

"Right. This past month has been hard on both of us." Mika says with a sigh as she eats a cookie.

"Hopefully this fall is a nice one for us." Joe says as he sits down next to Mika.

"I'm sure it will be, we are welcome a baby girl after all. But we really gotta get her nursery done. It's making me antsy." Mika says and Joe chuckles.

"We'll get it done. The walls are painted and Andrew told me he wants to help me with the accent wall with flowers. That's what you want right?" Joe asks Mika.

"Yes, I want this design right here." Mika says, opening up her phone and her notes page, showing Joe the wall decal she wants.

"That's pretty. I like that." Joe says to Mika with a grin.

"I like it too. My first baby girl in twenty four years. I'm soooo excited!" Mika says while chalking her hands.

"And my first baby girl in eighteen years. I love my life." Joe says before kissing his wife on the cheek.

"So do I. I'm tired now, so how about we leave this for tomorrow?" Mika asks Joe.

"Totally fine with me. You got a milk mustache, Meek." Joe says as he points at the milk on her face.

"Oh, we need to brush our teeth. Let me get out of bed." Mika says with a groan as she gets out of bed and walks over to the master bathroom.

"I already got your toothbrush and toothpaste set up." Joe says with a smile.

"You're always one step ahead, aren't you?" Mika asks her husband.

"That I am. And you have taken over my wardrobe, huh?" Joe says to Mika with a chuckle.

"Nothing else fits me! Plus I like to wear your shirts." Mika says with a grin.

"I know, I'm just teasing you. You look hot in my shirts." Joe says as Mika smiles.

"Why thank you." Mika says as she kisses her husband.

After brushing their teeth, the two lovebirds finally get into bed and cuddle with each each other.

"Goodnight, Joe. I love you." Mika says softly.

"I love you too, sweetie." Joe says in response.

"And we love you, Madi Jo. Mommy and Daddy can't wait to meet you." Mika says as she rubs her belly one more time before snuggling into Joe's chest and the two fall asleep.

For the rest of the night, Joe and Mika cuddle and sleep! Mika and Elijah had a wonderful day together! :)
