joescarborough Both @mikabrzezinski and I are covid positive. We have been sleeping most of our days and just resting. Mika and I are so thankful to have such wonderful friends that have been helping us with Elijah and also taking care of our home and Meatball so we can isolate and rest. Elijah is negative but he will be tested again, it's hard to do a covid test on a two year old 😅

joescarborough We received very sad news for the kids and family yesterday. Little Cat passed away after a short illness. We loved having him being a constant presence in our lives every day and how he brought our family such joy. When Little Cat lost weight and his appetite, we feared the worst. Sadly, our fears were confirmed. We loved our two years with him and miss him very much.

joescarborough Sorry we haven't been on Morning Joe these passed couple of days, @mikabrzezinski and I have had a stressful week but thankfully everything has calmed down.

A few days ago, we had Bamba's funeral up in Maine, which was beautiful. Only family and a few friends were there, just how Bamba would have wanted. After the funeral service, Mika, Elijah and I flew back to Florida due to having doctors appointments, taking Bamba's dog Daisy in with us until she can go be with Mark and Natalia and cleaning up Bamba's house. The next day, I rushed Mika to the hospital because she wasn't feeling well at all and she also didn't feel Madi Jo moving for a few hours. I was thinking the worst but thankfully everything worked out.

Mika was just extremely dehydrated due to stress from everything that has happened these past few weeks and Madi Jo is stubborn and dramatic just like her Mama is. Madi Jo is completely fine and so is Mika. These two are going to give me a heart attack but I love them so much. We should be leaving the hospital tonight and I'll be on Morning Joe tomorrow. Mika says she'll be too but I want her to rest. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for us, we both really appreciate it. ❤️
