Mika and Joe have just finished filming and broadcasting another episode of Morning Joe and they are now just relaxing at home together and doing other small work projects.

Joe changes his clothes from his suit and tie into comfortable lounge clothes and he just fed Meatball his breakfast.

Meanwhile, Mika has also changed out of her work clothes into sweatpants and one of Joe's shirts. She is now laying down in bed after throwing up.

Joe walks into the master bedroom and sees Mika laying in bed with a trash can next to her.

"Hi, Meek. How are you feeling sweety?" Joe asks Mika as he rubs her forehead softly.

"I feel okay. I'm ready for a nap." Mika says as Joe smiles at her.

"I made you some tea to help settle your stomach." Joe says as he places the tea on Mika's end table.

"Thank you, Joe. I love you." Mika says softly to Joe as Joe lays down in bed next to her.

"I love you too." Joe says, kissing Mika's forehead.

A few days ago, Joe and Mika told their kids about the new baby that is due in August. All eight of them had different reactions.

Joey and Andrew both thought the baby news was cool even though they are both in their thirties now and didn't expect their dad to have anymore children. Their wives Catherine and Brianna thought the news was exciting!

Tia's twins Emilie and William both showed excitement and happiness for Joe and Mika and they can't wait to meet the new baby.

Kate and Jack were both excited and happy as well! Kate joked and thought Joe was too told to have anymore kids but she is happy for her dad and stepmom. Meanwhile, Jack is excited to finally be a big brother!

But Emilie and Carlie didn't seem too excited about the baby news. They both showed concerned for Mika being pregnant at her age and thought it was weird too.

Joe looks down at Mika and sees that she is thinking about something.

"What's wrong, baby?" Joe asks Mika as he rubs her back.

"I'm just worried about Emilie and Carlie. They didn't seem happy about us having a baby like the other kids were. I don't want them mad at me or at you." Mika says softly to Joe.

"I think they will come around soon, Meek. Their dad is happy for us, maybe he will talk with them." Joe says to Mika, kissing her forehead again.

"I'm surprised Jim is happy for us since our divorce was hard on both of us." Mika say with a sigh.

"Why? That was years ago and you guys are friends now just like I'm friends with Joey and Andrew's mom and Kate and Jack's mom. Melanie and Susan are happy for us and they can't wait to spoil another baby. Even Emilie and William's dad George is excited." Joe says with a chuckle.

"Yeah I know... I'm just worried that they will feel like I betrayed them somehow by having a baby with you." Mika sighs as she turns around and rubs Joe's cheek.

"Why do feel like that?" Joe asks Mika worryingly.

"I know they took the divorce really hard and it took them a while to get used to you and I being together. I just don't want them to feel that I'm neglecting them." Mika says and looks at Joe.

"I don't think they think you are neglecting them. You are a wonderful mom and you have done so much for them throughout their lives. They are both successful young adults because of you and Jim's parenting. I just think they both weren't expecting two 50 something adults to have a baby. Just like Joey and Andrew, they both weren't expecting their dad to have another baby with them being in their 30's, but they are happy for us. Brianna and Catherine told me they all want to help us whenever they can." Joe says to Mika and Mika smiles.

"I'm glad Kate and Jack are happy about the baby news. Especially Jack. He seems really excited to finally be a big brother." Mika says as Joe giggles.

"He is really excited. I didn't think an almost twelve year old would be this excited. Susan keeps telling me how excited he is and he is asking her a lot of questions. Kate is excited too, Susan said she wants to help with the baby's wardrobe." Joe says causing Mika to chuckle.

"I know the divorce between you and Susan was hard on them." Mika says softly and Joe nods.

"Yeah, it was. But they are strong kids and now they are so happy. They know that their parents are friends and their parents are happier now. They really love you Mika." Joe says as Mika blushes.

"And I love them. I love all of them. All eight of our kids and now our baby." Mika says as she rubs her bloated stomach that is turning into a baby bump.

"I very much love our baby too." Joe says, leaning down to kiss Mika's stomach.

"And I love my baby mama." Joe says and kisses Mika.

Mika giggles at Joe's words and pulls him into a hug.

"I very much love my baby daddy too." Mika winks at Joe, before kissing him hard on the mouth.

"I can't wait to meet our little baby. Our baby is going to be the cutest baby in the world." Joe says, kissing Mika's cheek.

Mika nods and runs her hand through Joe's thick hair.

"Of course our baby will be the cutest ever! He is made of pure love." Mika says, looking eyes with Joe.

"So you're sure it's a boy, huh?" Joe asks.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's a boy. This pregnancy seems so different from the ones with Emilie and Carlie. It has to be a boy." Mika giggles at Joe.

"Oh, I'm team girl. That's definitely my baby princess in there." Joe says with a chuckle as he places a hand on Mika's stomach.

"I think Kate prefers to be her dad's only princess. You spoil her rotten." Mika says as she kisses Joe again and Joe smiles.

"I may spoil her a little bit." Joe says as Mika giggles.

"And you spoil me too." Mika says softly to Joe with a smirk causing Joe to giggle.

"I sure do. So, how are you feeling today?" Joe asks Mika softly and Mika blushes at Joe's touch.

"I feel better. Still throwing up some and nausea. Oh and tired too. I'm ready for a nap. I'm just worried about work, my mom and the kids." Mika says.

"Don't worry. Everybody at work is supportive and happy for us. There is no need to worry about work. And they kids are all fine. They are healthy and happy. As for your mom, I think she is going to be so excited to have another grandchild." Joe says to Mika.

"I hope she gets a chance to live up and to get some new motivation. I know she is going to be excited." Mika says to Joe.

"I suppose this is the best thing to ever happen to us. This baby will bring so much joy for all of us." Joe says, stroking Mika's hair.

"A little Scarborough baby. The cutest in the world." Mika says with a dreamy eyes.

"Now drink your tea baby before it gets cold. I don't want you to be so nauseated." Joe says kissing Mika's forehead.

"Yeah, I hope this will help." Mika says as she scoots up in bed and takes the cup of tea from the bedside table.

"Oh, did you use that special tea Carlie gave me?" Mika says and looks down at Joe.

"Yes, I did. I remembered you said you liked it last night." Joe says and kisses Mika's hand.

"Yes, I did. I love you baby." Mika says, leaning down to kiss Joe on the cheek.

"I love you too. Why don't you take a nap? I think I'm going to work on some podcast stuff and do some laundry. Do you need anything?" Joe asks Mika and Mika smiles.

"I don't need anything except cuddles with you." Mika says with a sleepy grin.

"Oh Meek." Joe says, pulling Mika in and kissing her head.

"You can cuddle me to sleep." Mika says and kisses Joe's neck.

"Yes I can, but I'll need to leave when you've fallen asleep to do some work, okay?" Joe says to Mika and searches for her eyes.

"Are you going to abandon your pregnant wife just like that?" Mika asks and winks at Joe.

"I'll be in the next room, honey. I can come in whenever you need me." Joe says, kissing Mika's cheek.

"Mmhmm, I might need you." Mika says sleepily.

"Come on honey, get some rest so that you can grow our beautiful baby strong and healthy." Joe says, kissing Mika on the head.

Mika settles into Joe's arms and lays her head on his chest. She soon breaths deeply and smiles as her eyes flutter close and she goes to sleep.

Joe kisses Mika on the head a few times before he gets up out of bed and goes across the hall to their home office.

Joe comes back into the master bedroom to cover Mika up with his blanket and kisses her cheek.

Joe walks back into his office and Meatball walks inside meowing loudly.

"Hi, Meatball. Did you eat your breakfast? Are you a good boy?" Joe asks Meatball as he pets his head.

"Meow. Meow." Meatball says looking around the office.

"Are you looking for Mama? She is sleeping. Do you want to hang out with me for a while?" Joe asks Meatball as he sits the cat in his lap.

Joe scratches Meatball behind his ear and he happily purrs.

"Look here, Meatball. These are the sound files for my new podcast." Joe says, showing of the computer screen to Meatball.

Meatball looks at Joe and then back at the computer. Meatball hops up on Joe's desk and starts to walk over the keyboard.

"Oh no, Meatball! No! You'll delete everything!" Joe says as he shots up out of his chair to lift Meatball off the desk.

"You can't do that while I'm working, I'll never get out of here." Joe says as he pets Meatball and holds him in his lap.

"Should we go and lay down with Mama mister?" Joe asks Meatball.

Meatball meows in agreement and hops down on the floor.

"We have to be quiet, okay? She is still sleeping." Joe whispers as he slowly opens the master bedroom door.

Mika is fast asleep on Joe's side of the bed, stretched out like a starfish.

"Meow. Meow." Meatball says, jumping on the master bed and walks over to Mika.

Meatball cuddles next to Mika and Joe smiles before he lays down next to Mika.

Joe lays his arm around Mika's shoulders and places her arm on top of him.

Joe gives Mika a soft kiss on the cheek.

"I'm here now Meek. I love you, baby" Joe whispers in Mika's ear.

"Mmhhm, I love you too." Mika says in a sleepy tone, since she woke up when Joe laid down in bed.

Mika turns around and snuggles into Joe's chest. Joe lays his arms around Mika's back.

"Get some more sleep baby, you seem to need it. I'll be here holding you as long as you want." Joe whispers and kisses Mika's ear.

"I see you changed your mind." Mika says with a smirk as she gets comfortable in Joe's arms.

"Well, Meatball wanted to see you and plus he almost deleted my whole podcast episode I did this week so that's fun." Joe says as Mike giggles.

"Thank you, Meatball for bringing Daddy back in bed. You are such a good boy." Mika says as Meatball meows a few times.

"It's almost like you trained him." Joe chuckles lightly, kissing Mika's forehead.

"Maybe I did." Mika smirks and kisses Joe on the lips.

Joe strokes Mika's back and she wraps her arms tighter around his body. She kisses his chest.

"Get some more rest baby, I want you as healthy as possible when you're growing out baby." Joe says into Mika's hair.

"Yeah, now that you're here I can totally relax." Mika whispers.

"Get some sleep and grow our baby strong." Joe says and gives Mika a kiss on the head.

Mika snores lightly and moves her head around on Joe's chest.

"Well? that was quicker than I thought. Come here, buddy and get some of the snuggle warmth" Joe whispers to Meatball.

Meatball lays between Mika and Joe and happily falls asleep.

Joe smiles at Mika and Meatball sleeping and he manages to do some work on his iPhone while Mika happily sleeps. :)
