Help Them (Erased AU 2)

Author's Note: I'm finally getting around to writing the continuation to a oneshot that I completed a good while ago.

Why did it take so long for me to write it? Well, I got distracted with all the newer things that I wanted to work on. It's the parallel to 'Forgetting Something'. So, I highly suggest that you read both of them.

Anyways, this is just a special treat that I decided to submit. It doesn't affect the original plan of doing Renperor's Reign then working on another oneshot for the Mightyverse.

 Enjoy!

 Solidarity's POV:

I wish I was with the others....

The stupid Watchers decided it was a great idea to force us all to take on the Ender dragon alone. I mean, I knew that I could fight the dragon with the gear I had; however, I really wanted to work with my fellow Evolutionists.

I blinked a couple of times as I felt a cool wind brush against the tip of my nose.

 A... A cool wind?

I tiredly rubbed at my head.

But, I should be in my recording room right now... How did I get outside?

Groggily, I opened my eyes and forced myself to sit up. I looked around at my surroundings and noticed that I was both outside and... in Spawn?

My entire body shivered as I forced myself to sit up and checked my inventory.

 Thankfully, everything was still there.

Not going to lie but I'm surprised. I honestly believed that the Watchers would've taken my stuff.

But still, I shouldn't focus on whether or not I have my inventory! I'm stuck in an old version of Minecraft, and I don't know how to get home!

 Wait...

 Wait

 Wait

Wait!

 The others aren't here!

Quickly, I rose to my feet and looked at my surroundings. My body shuddered as another cool wind rubbed against my arms.

" ARE YOU BEHIND THIS, WATCHERS?" I shouted to the sky, " WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY FRIENDS?"

Of course, I wouldn't get an answer to my questions. The Watchers never answer anything.

With a sigh, I began to look around. Thankfully, I didn't have to look for long:

In the center of the pond, where the Grian statue use to be, I stared up at the bedrock and obsidian statue of a giant ear.

" The Listeners...?" I tilted my head slightly.

As I approached the statue, I too notice of the chest that was at the base. My body shuddered as I felt the raw magic that was emanating from it.

" What the hell?" I mumbled as I pried the chest open and blankly stared at the contents within.

A bunch of ender chests and a tattered book that had strange runes carved into the cover.

 Galactic...

That's what the writing is... right?

" I should've asked Grian or Zee to show me how to read this stuff... " I sighed as I took the book out of the chest and shifted it between my gloved hands.

As soon as I finished my sentence, a sudden headache panged through me as I closed my eyes and pinched the bridge of my nose.

 Ow....

Why does... Why does it hurt?

No, what caused me to hurt?

Once the pain ended, I reopened my eyes and gasped at the glowing text that replaced the original Galactic:

 Jimmy.

I looked up towards the statue and narrowed my eyes.

Why are the Listeners addressing me by name?

Cautiously, I opened the book and immediately dropped it as magical words shot out of the book. As the Galactic letters continued to swirl around me, the feelings of pins and needles climbed up me from the soles of my feet to the top of my head.

My body shivered as a sharp pain wrecked my side as I stumbled a bit.

 Okay... It's fine...

I blinked a couple of times and looked at the words that surrounded my body:

The Watchers have forgotten you, but truly, it was all a ruse by us...

Deliver the Ender chests to your fellow Evolutionists...

Then find the way to your new home...

I crossed my arms over my chest and shivered as the words disappeared into the air. When I looked back down at the book, I found that it was now gone.

My head began to pang as I looked back into the chest and picked up the Ender chests and shoved each of them into my bag...

This shouldn't take long... I should be able to meet the others at our new home before they even know I'm gone...

 Well, let's get to work....

((Timeskip to nighttime brought to you by a strange glow coming off of Solidarity as he walks.))

How did time pass so quickly within Minecraft?

It doesn't make any sense when you're actually within the game. I shook my head as I walked through the spruce trees.

As I walked, I spotted some pigs that were wandering around.

For some reason, I didn't feel hungry enough to kill them for porkchops; I didn't feel thirsty either.

With a sigh, I went back to following a glowing trail that appeared not long after I set down the last ender chest.

Hopefully, this will lead me back to Martyn and the others. Absentmindedly, I raised my hand and watched as faint snowflakes gently touched my gloves then disappeared.

 Strange...

 Why don't I feel cold?

It's been snowing and the sun has been down for at least an hour now.

Frowning, I continued to make my way through the forest until, for some reason, I felt compelled to stop and look towards the night sky.

There's something wrong... There's something very wrong with this place.

Slowly, I turned my head and looked behind me.

Fresh snow began to blanket the ground that I previously walked. Yet, for some reason, I couldn't see my shoe prints in the snow.

I shook my head and returned to walking through the forest. Tiredly, I crossed my arms over my chest as I finally, after what seemed like forever, reached the end of the forest and watched as the glowing trail snaked up the hill and towards a cave.

When I tried to exit the forest, a small, gray burst of magic pushed me back, and I was met with the Galactic words of the Listeners once more.

Quickly, I put my hands to my head and closed my eyes, " L-Leave me alone! Let me see my friends... I've done the task that you gave me!" I shouted as I reopened my eyes.

The words were gone again, but still, I could hear the pings of their magic from all sides of me.

I cleared my throat as the snow began to whip around me, but once again, I didn't feel cold....

With a small shudder, I looked up towards the cave and spotted Netty standing at the entrance to the cave.

" NETTY!" I yelled as I tried to step out from behind the trees; I was held back by the magic once more.

In a desperate attempt, I reached my hand out to the bush baby hybrid as she turned to hobble back into the cave.

As I stretched my hand out, I froze and shook my head.

 No...

 Nononono...

My hand.... My hand was transparent!

Quickly, I looked at the rest of my body and stared through it. I gulped as the magical letters of Listeners resumed their circling.

This time around, I could clearly read what was being said:

" This was the only way to keep you out of the Watcher's gaze.... permanently...."

Briefly, I bucked then fell to my knees as the final word repeated in my head like a broken record.

 Permanently.

 Permanently.

 Permanently....

I shook my head and looked up.

" It can't be permanent.... right?" I questioned with a small laugh, " There has to be a way to make me real again... T-The others.... I-I bet they're wondering where I am!"

The words changed around and formed a new sentence:

" The only way for you to return is for them to remember you...

 They.....

They really don't remember me..... do they?
