Author's Note: Only one more part to Simulation AU before I post the drawings and what happened to everyone in this AU. Which, honestly, I still need to write up. 

 Once I get done with Simulation AU, then I can work on a story that fits the Hermitheous ending to HC8.

Void's POV:

The chains rattled as the building seemed to shift once more. 

 Slowly, the chains that held my wrists and arms slowly began to crawl up the wall until my arms were above me. Then, the chains that held my legs slowly shifted downwards. Thankfully, the brace and chains that held my neck and waist didn't move too much.

 I blinked a couple of times as the blood that had originally rushed to my head returned to the rest of my body. With a soft grumble, I took a couple of deep breaths of my senses returned to me. 

 Unfortunately, I was still stuck with motion sickness.

 My long, axolotl tail twitched causing the chains of my waist and legs to rattle and creak. I shuddered at the sound and blinked a couple more times in order to get the dust out of my eyes.

 Once my eyes stopped burning, I coughed and cleared my throat. Every time the building rebuilds itself, more and more dust seems to kick up.

 Eventually, the building settle down as light shined through the cracks in the walls.

 CREEEAAAAK!

 I gulped. 

 I guess I spoke too soon.

 I flinched as the building briefly shook as the bricks in front of me shifted to the side.

 " Hsssssss!" I flinched and closed my eyes as the bright daylight tried to blind me and keep me from seeing the outside world. I needed to see the outside world.

 No matter how brief it was, I think that seeing the outside world, the true world, was the only good thing about this imprisonment.

 If only I knew where Xisuma was. 

 When I reopened my eyes, my mouth opened slightly as the ear fins that were only on one side of my head perked up. 

 This was new.

 A giant statue of an armored being towered above my prison. 

 The old statue was covered in vines and seemed to be surrounded by a long, spiral staircase that lead straight to its chest. 

 I narrowed my eyes as I bowed my head and strained myself to see the statue's head. From what I could make out through the bright daylight, I could see a pair of long windows where the statue's eyes should be. 

 What's up there? 

 BANG!

 " !! " A weak, strained squeak of alarm forced its way out of my throat; it felt like my throat was being rubbed at with sandpaper. I coughed and tried to swallow the spit that I didn't have. 

 My entire body was shaking as the chains creaked and jingled with my wiggling.

 What in the blazes was that?!

 I thought to myself as my breathing worsened. My weakened muscles twitched slightly as I stared my eyes.

 BANG!

 There was that sound again.

 It sounded like rockets used for an elytra, but I've never heard anyone use an elytra in a while. In fact I haven't heard of anyone in a while, though.

 Where was everyone anyways?

 My tail twitched as a purple haze began to cloud by vision as a strange, white ball of light floated down from the sky. I narrowed my eyes as the sky equally began to turn purple; But, the purple of the sky was more of a violet color while the haze was darker, heavier.

 It's... It's weirdly familiar.

 Where have I seen this haze before? Where have I seen this ball of light.

 Soon, a second ball of light appeared and floated towards the platform that lead into the statue's chest. Eventually, the two lights landed on the platform and morphed into tall beings. 

 If it wasn't for this viewpoint and the size of the beings, I wouldn't be able to see them or what they were doing.

 I wonder...

 Did those beings do this on purpose? Are they in charge of this realm? Are they behind my imprisonment?

 I let out a growl as I watched the beings as their bodies continued to morph into a strange, humanoid form with giant wings; Wings that had multiple, giant eyes that seemed to grow, shrink, and blink all at different intervals. 

 The purple haze continued to cloud my vision as the strange beings climbed the stairs and eventually entered the statue. 

 I kept watching the statue. 

 What was going on in there? 

 Why are the beings allowing me to watch this?  Or, do they know that I'm awake?

 The air was tense as my chest began to tighten and the hair on the human half of my body stood up. I tried to take in a deep breath and gagged due to the lump in my throat.

 Thump.

 Thump.

 Thump.

 My heart was kicking at my ribcage as I shivered slightly. 

 Breath Void. Breath... 

 Why do I feel like this?

 I let out a shaky breath as I looked between my chest and the sta-

 " AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

 A horrible scream caused my prison and the giant statue to shake. I looked up towards the head of the tower and watched as a bright, flashing green and purple light began to strobe like crazy.

 Wait.... Wait wait wait.....

 Green and purple light.

 Xisumavoid.

 My brother has been in front of me this whole time. Why haven't I detected him before now? Why have I never felt his presence? 

 Those... Those things... They took my magic away my me. That's.... That's the only explanation to me being unable to sense Xisuma. 

 Clenching my jaw, a low growl escaped from my strained throat. My tail thrashed as I tried to pull at the chain that bounded my arm to one of the many bricks. 

 Creaaak.

 Come on....

 Crreeaaaaakkkkkk

 Come on...

 Click!

 Dang it...

 My tail thrashed as I let out a low growl. 

 I was so close to breaking it. I was so close to getting my arm free! 

 But, somehow, the chain was able to fix itself faster than I could break it. There's a strange magic to this place. But, I can't figure out what kind of magic it i-

 WOOSH!

 I tensed up as a violent rush of wind entered through the hole in the tower. 

" 8-5'19 1-23-1-11-5.... 8-5'19 21-19-21-1-12-12-25 14-5-22-5-18 1-23-1-11-5 1-20 20-8-9-19 20-9-13-5...."

 I let out a low growl as a painful buzzing sensation rubbed at my skull. My tail thrashed as the entity flew to the window and landed at the base of it. 

" 23-8-1-20 4-15 23-5 4-15? 8-5 14-15-23 11-14-15-23-19 23-8-5-18-5 his brother 9-19."

 Brother...

 " Brother..." I choked out as it felt like I was being crushed. My entire body was still aching as I strained my eyes in order to look at the entity.

 Slowly, my vision began to return to normal.

" 4-9-4 8-5 10-21-19-20 19-1-25 'brother'? Can he... 3-1-14 8-5 understand us?"

 " Nonse-"

 " I can..." I interjected as I coughed out some blood then looked up at the entity. Slowly, the single, towering being slowly split into two hooded humanoids with large, eyeless wings.

 The first being scoffed at me and began speaking in full English,

 " Well, know this brother of the admin. Escape is a distant thing for you... For all of you."

 I let out a low growl.

 " They'll find a way... T-The other hermits..." I whispered as the purple haze returned and my mind began to feel all fuzzy.

 " 13-1-25-2-5 20-8-5-25 23-9-12-12..." The being chuckled and shook its head, " 9'4 12-15-22-5 20-15 19-5-5 20-8-5-13 20-18-25."

 The being's voice turned back into garbled nonsense that stabbed at my brain and twisted it. My ear fins lowered as my eyes closed.

"7-15-15-4-14-9-7-8-20."
