Author's Note: Another story set in the Frozen Over AU? It's more likely than you think. Also, I personally think that Joe got the long end of the stick in this AU. He has three fuzzy hybrids that are all willing to snuggle (technically Joe is real hurt and freezing, but once again, he's got three friends to help).

 Anyways, I've been putting this story off in order to work on Halloween stories, but now that I've got all of them done, I could actually finish and submit this piece. In regards of the Halloween stories though, I've got two more to submit, but you'll have to wait for it. ;)

 Ren's POV:

 My tail twitched as I put my Winter coat over my torn clothes. I shuddered as my canines and other teeth chattered together. 

 It's been at least a week or so since the strange snow storm fully blanketed the server. From what I know, everyone's been separated from each other in small groups, and on top of that, we can't get into contact with anyone else. 

 The only reason why I know this is because Joe tried to get in contact with the others before Tango, G, and I found him wasting away in the cold. My tail twitched as I sat down at the small table that Grian had built for meetings. That hermit really enjoyed his meeting tables. 

 My ears twitched as Tango and Grian joined me at the table, " How's making the place warm going?" I looked towards Tango as a small thing of smoke came from his mouth. The hermit sighed, " Eeeh, I've warmed up some of this cave; however, it's mainly this part. I'd suggest not going any deeper without proper clothing." 

 I looked over at Grian as he wrapped himself up with his wings. My ears twitched, " What about you G? How's decorating this place and making it more homey?" I tilted my head as Grian motioned around with his hand, " I've gotten a bedroom and kitchen set up... That's about it..." his voice was pretty drained as he tucked his hand back into his covered body.

 " How's Joe doing Ren?" Tango questioned as I motioned over to the bed that was close to the fire. The large lump under the blanket moved slightly as a small snore came from that general direction. My ears perked up slightly, " He's recovering... " I frowned, " I had to put some medicine on his hands though. The hypothermia was taking affect..." 

 The others frowned, " W-Well, " Grian fixed his glasses, " At least he's getting better." he gave us a hopeful smile. Tango got up and fixed his vest, " I'm going to go try and make something to strengthen the communication signal." he pointed deeper into the cave.

 I tilted my head, " Isn't it cold in that part of the cave?" I questioned as Tango pulled up his sleeves in order to reveal some blond fur that was growing on him. I nodded my head silently as Tango rolled his sleeves back down. The lion hybrid's tail wiggled as he walked into the dark tunnel of the cave.

 My tail twitched as I looked towards Grian as he leaned back in his stony seat, " .....are you alright Gman?" I looked at him as he raised his glasses in order to rub at his eyes and nose, " I will be once Joe wakes up, and we find out if the others are okay." 

 " Oh." 

 Grian's wings fluffed up even more as he slowly stood up from his seat, " I hope that Tango can figure out a way to reopen communications... We can't even leave this stupid place." he mumbled as he fixed his glasses. 

 I watched as Grian walked towards a door and put his hand against a door that he crudely crafted. Grian yawned, " I'm going to go cook some fish..." he blinked as I nodded. Grian disappeared into the other room and left me here.

 My tail lowered as I took my sunglasses off and set them down onto the table. I took the ponytail holder out of my hair and put it next to my glasses. I slumped my chin against my hand and sighed as my ears pressed against my head. My whole body shuddered as I looked at my hand and frowned at the black claws that were replacing my nails.

 Okay. 

 Am I turning into my dog form? Probably. I should panic because I'm not doing this myself, but at the same time, I want to curl up into a fluffy ball and fall asleep. My tail swished as I stood up from my chair and wandered over to the chest in the wall.

 A wave of cold and tiredness swept over me as I yawned and opened the chest. I took out one of the beds that were set into the chest and smiled at the red blanket. My tail twitched as I sluggishly walked over to the other side of Joe's bed and set my bed down next to his. A weak murmur came from under the lump as it moved slightly. 

 Pretty soon, one of Joe's bandaged hands poked out from under his blue blanket. I crawled under my red one and sat on my bed as my face turned into a fuzzy muzzle. Joe coughed causing a small bit of white breath to escape from him. 

 " H-Hmm?" Joe could barely break through his exhaustion in order to make a sound. I shushed him as I fully shifted into a dog causing him to murmur again. My tail twitched as Joe tiredly wiggled over to me in order to wrap his arms around my fluffy, warm self. I smiled as Joe reclosed his pained eyes and drifted back to sleep. A soft snore escaped from him as he rested his head against me. 

 My tail thumped against the bed as Joe let out a happy mumble. I looked up as the door to the kitchen opened. Grian's wings flapped as he took out a bed and set it down next to mine. Once Grian finished setting down his bed, Tango appeared from the cave and motioned the fire with some magic.

 " What're you doing?" Grian whispered as Tango's tail twitched, " Moving the fire in case once of us accidently falls in." he answered as he too grabbed a pet and set it down. Tango grabbed some blankets, pillows, and other warm things and put them on the beds. Tango and Grian climbed into bed. 

 After the others got under their blankets, Grian slowly spread his wings over the rest of us and made a soft chirping noise. Tango quickly followed with making a soft purr as his tail wiggled. I let out a sigh as the three of us fell asleep alongside Joe.
