Author's Note: Okay, this is a little situation based around Iskall's manipulation of Grumbot. I haven't actually watched the episode, so I just know that Iskall did something to the boy. This has a more.... hurting aspect to it... 

In non-story related news, I completed isle of armor (the pokemon sword and shield DLC). It was pretty fun, but it only took two days to actually do (I am also incredibly salty that people online just randomly encounter shinies, but I haven't seen one in the whole game).

 ???'s POV:

Who am I? 

 Why.... Why can't I remember, and why can't I move? 

My eyes slowly opened as I coughed and curled up. The entire right side of my body was on fire as I breathed heavily. 

 " You're okay!" 

 I flinched at the loud voice and started to shake. My body was hurting even further as I let out a strained sound. I breathed sharply until I started to gasp for breathe. A mask was put over my mouth as I took deep breaths before settling down.

 " Oh my goodness, I am so sorry mate...." I looked towards the loud person and froze up. A large, humanoid bee was staring down at me. The bee's antenna was twitching, " W-Who are you?" my voice was weak as I looked between myself and the bug. 

 I didn't have a shirt on, and my body was covered in multiple bandages. My feet and legs have changed into bird legs and my tail was spread out. One of my legs was bent the wrong way. My arm was wrapped up in a sling. 

 " Are you hearing me?"

 My left wing, which I could still feel, spread out. I stared at the bee hybrid as he frowned.

 " Did you hear what I just said? Do you not remember me?" the bee questioned with a tilt of his head. I frowned as I shook my head as best as I could. My neck was aching. The bug frowned, " Well, It's me.... Xisuma. You tend to pronounce my name in silly ways..." he sounded.... sad. 

 I looked at my bandaged hand as it clenched and unclenched, " Where am I?" I questioned in a low voice as the bee hybrid sat down on my bed, " You're in the town hall. It was the closest place that we could bring you two. Your bodies were broken to the point where even moving you by flight would've been deadly." he explained with a nervous look. 

 " Who.... Who is the other person...?" I questioned as Xisuma pointed towards the open door, " Mumbo Jumbo.... I don't think you would remember him if you don't remember me. I don't even think that you'll remember what happened to you both..." he sighed. 

 A light blanket was wrapped around me by Xisuma. I stared at him and made a weak sound as another person entered the room. This man had a blue shirt on, brown hair, and glasses. He fixed his glasses, " We've been trying to find Iskall the last couple of days. Ren's managed to sniff him down, but he was shot by a fire arrow and burned." the man spoke in a low voice. 

 " You don't need to whisper Joe. He's awake." Xisuma stood up as the man looked at me, " Ah... Ya'll gave us a real fright when we found your bodies all mangled next to your malfunctin' AI." Joe fixed his glasses as he looked at me. 

 I wanted to flinch at that thought, but I couldn't remember what Mumbo looked like nor could I remember the situation. Xisuma leaned closer to Joe and whispered into his ear causing his eyes to widen, " Oh...." 

 " Are you.... telling him about the.... amnesia?" I questioned in a low voice and later coughed. Xisuma nodded his head. I frowned slightly as Xisuma slowly moved me to a different position. Xisuma looked at Joe, " Can you get the potion? The one that can make hybrid parts disappear?" he asked causing Joe to nod. In a minute, Joe left and returned with a glowing bottle. 

 Xisuma took the bottle, thanked Joe, and uncorked the potion, " Okay, this potion will make your wings disappear, but they will return once you feel better and all your bones heal properly." Xisuma nodded his head.

 " What if they don't?" I questioned causing Xisuma to frown, " We'll get them to heal properly. Your body is in a bit of a better condition than Mumbo's. You're more damaged mentality than physically." he explained as Joe helped me to sit up. I took the potion and flinched as my wings went away. 

 I was laid back down, " I know that you just woke up Grian, but you still haven't healed yet.... Get some more rest. I'll get you some food and water in a little bit." X smiled as I nodded and moved the blanket closer.

 I slowly fell asleep as something finally clicked. 

 I'm Grian.....

--------------------------------((POV SKIP))-----------------------------

X's POV:

 I shut the lights off and left Grian's room with Joe behind me. Joe fixed his glasses, " It was nice of you to build extra rooms for Grian and Mumbo to reside in." he smiled as I nodded. My wings twitched as we walked in Mumbo's room. 

 The hermit was sitting up in his bed. One of Mumbo's legs were gone, his arm and chest were wrapped up in bandages, and his eye had a bandage over it. 

 " Hello Mumbo." I greeted causing Mumbo to look up from his communicator. The hermit nodded his head, " Hello back..... Has Grian woken up yet? It's... It's been a few days, hasn't it?" he questioned nervously.

 Joe and I looked at each other sadly, " He has awoken, Mumbo; however, he's sufferin' from amnesia." Joe answered with a cross of his arms. Mumbo nodded, " At least he's alive..." 

 " How's... How's trying to find Iskall?" Mumbo followed up as he gingerly touched his leg; the hermit flinched slightly. Joe crossed his arms, " Ren got burned by a fire arrow. Etho and Beef are now on the journey to pick up where Ren left off." 

 Mumbo frowned, " Please don't hurt Iskall... He didn't know what he was doing to Grumbot..." he lowered his head. Joe walked closer to Mumbo and put his hand onto the hermit's good arm, " We will try not to, but a person must pay for their crimes." 

 The hermit frowned further, " Can uh... Can I just have some pain medicine? I want to be left alone...." 

 I nodded my head as I took out my ender chest and took out a potion. I handed it to Mumbo as he nodded and quickly drank it. Mumbo moved himself until he was completely laying down, " I'm going to go back to sleep..." he sighed with a heavy frown. 

 Joe and I looked at him in silence, " Please go..." Mumbo whispered as the two of us nodded and left the room. I shut Mumbo's room and leaned against the wall. I lowered my head and frowned, " We need to find Iskall before the other hermits do." I spoke in a low voice as Joe nodded.

 " Agreed."
