Grian's POV:
I looked around my old base and smiled, " Well, this is it old friend. The end." I crossed my arms. It would take a while, maybe an hour, to show how much I loved joined this server. I could go into it, but I needed to get one last thing together before Impulse and I demised Iskall and removed the dragon curse from him.
" Now, where were those bottles?" I mumbled as I dug through the chest monster and any other chest that I left out. I looked around for a good minute or two before finding a single empty bottle. I put the bottle into my bag and took off towards Jevin's old home before he left the server.
My body twitched slightly as I broke into the home. No one really came to this idea of the shopping district, but it was still bad to just enter a man's home. I looked around and headed down into the basement.
I learned about a potion that can do strange things. The problem is that you need the person's essence and the a changing creature's magic as well. I had the first part of the ingredients, but I still needed the second.
I searched around the house until I found a small room that was tucked behind some bookshelves and chests. After letting out a slow sigh, I gathered up some courage and pushed the door open.
Slime.
Barrels, bottles, and even more containers of blue and green slime. Normal green slime wouldn't suit the potion though. No, I needed some of Jevin's slime. It seemed a bit odd, I know, but I need someone that can transform. A normal slime can't shapeshift. Jevin, strangely, could shapeshift.
I scooped up some blue slime and looked at it. It was wiggling and shifting like waves in the ocean. Jevin could honestly use his excess slime as a lava lamp. I bet that people would buy it.
That didn't really matter though. What mattered was this next step. I brought out some hair clipping that Stress had gave me. The clippings were from the friendly little Swedish man that has lived for too long without respawning or AFKing.
I left the base and flew towards where Impulse and I had build and wired the deathtrap. Impulse was standing outside anxiously; his feet were tapping at the floor rapidly.
" Where have you been man? We're only five hours away from Iskall's death!" Impulse scratched at his beard and adjusted his new shirt. I motioned for him to follow, and we walked into the black room that had the tracks laid out.
After laying out the two ingredients for the motion, I looked towards Impulse with a smirk. Impulse blinked and tilted his head, " Uh... " he was at a lost for words as I mixed the two ingredients together with a grin.
I turned to face him and motioned to the bottle with my hand. I leaned against the table slightly, " Drink this mate." I grinned as Impulse blinked, " Grian, I don't mean to be rude man, but it seems really, really stupid to drink a potion made out of hair and slime from two other hermits." he shuddered slightly.
The two of us looked at each other in silence. I nodded my head, " I know. I know, " I walked away from the table," but I can make it seem a bit less weird." I told him as I took out a golden apple. Impulse leaned back on his heels.
" How does that make this potion any better?" Impulse questioned as I cut the apple up and dropped it into the bottle. The contents of the potion mixed together even more until it was a green color, " It masks the taste of the potion. " I explained to him as he frowned.
Impulse let out a sigh as he picked up the bottle and looked at it, " How badly will this hurt?" he questioned with a small shudder. I crossed my arms, " It shouldn't hurt too bad. If I mixed it right, it should be a numbing feeling until you stop changing." I told him as he nodded, " Can you... maybe... not look at me?"
I nodded as I walked behind the corner and leaned against the wall. I closed my eyes as I could hear sharp gasp coming from Impulse followed by heavy, shocked breathing. Sounds of concern and fear filled the air as I flinched.
" I-Impulse? Are you okay?" I questioned as the breathing slowly started to steady. I waited a few seconds as a hoarse voice came forward, " I'm... I'm a bit shaken up. I'm... I'm okay though. This is very, very freaky." he gasped out.
I stepped out from where I was standing and stopped in front of the now changed Impulse. The hermit looked almost exactly like Iskall. From his hair, beard, and even to his slightly discolored eye.
" Can you still see correctly?" I questioned as Impulse nodded, " It's the same as how it is normally..." he shrugged as I opened my inventory and handed him a copy of Iskall's eye piece. Impulse slid it on and took a step back, " So, how do I look?" he questioned as I smirked, " Exactly like Iskall mate... Are you ready for the show to begin?" I motioned to my watch.
Impulse nodded, " Just need to get my suit on, and I'll be ready." he grinned as he disappeared behind the corner. I shook my head and sat down on top of the chest.
Be right Iskall because this'll be the greatest death that you'll ever experience.
