Author's Note: The sequel to Protector. Giving more reason as to what happened after Martyn passed out, and why Stampy is here in EVO.

((Two days after Protector)) Still during HoS and NOtPY))

 Martyn:

 I laid there in bed. My whole body felt numb as I looked over at Netty. Sitting in between us, Stampy cat, Netty's own brother. Stampy's face had a large bandage on it, and his hand was heavily bandages as well. My body shook as I tried to get up, " Mate, I suggest that you don't do that...." his ears twitched as he glanced back at me. My arms continued to shake as I got onto my knees.

 " Martyn..." Stampy narrowed his eyes as I looked at him. I was almost up, but my arms gave out last second causing me to crash back down onto the bed. I felt my bones pop as I shook my head. Stampy sighed as he looked at me. A disappointed look replaced his usually cheery look. 

 My body shook more as I rolled onto my stomach. I looked at Stampy, " Solidarity?" I questioned in a slurred voice. Stampy pointed upstairs with his clawed hand, " He is upstairs with your friend; I believe his name is BigB?" his ears twitched. I nodded at him. 

 Soon enough, BigB came down the stairs with Solidarity behind him. The American looked between me and Netty. He gave us both concerned looks, but he gave the same look to Stampy. BigB looked at Stampy's hand, " Have you put on a new bandage?" he questioned with a raise of his eyebrow. Stampy's ears went back.

 BigB narrowed his eyes, " Did you?" he questioned again. Stampy shook his head, " Oh Cat..." he sighed. BigB looked at me, " Solidarity will fill you in on everything.... I have work to do." he nodded. I watched as BigB and Stampy disappeared up the stairs. Stampy's tail dragged on the stone ground. 

 I yawned as Solidarity took Stampy's seat. He looked at me sadly, " Stampy told me how you had a weird symbol on your back after you healed Netty." he frowned. I tried to look at said symbol, but I could only see something black and purple on my back.

 Solidarity frowned, " It's the watcher curse... You went into that cursed forest that you and I can't go into, didn't you mate?" he questioned nervously. I nodded at him as I rolled onto my back. Solidarity took my arm and showed me my bandaged hand, " .....What?" I croaked as he frowned. 

 My friend looked at me with a concerned look. Solidarity shook his head, " Your hand into completely turning back... It's all black and trying to fuse again... BigB and I tried to slow the process down, but its fast mate." he whimpered as he leaned back in his seat.

 I looked over at Netty, " Mrr?" I pointed over at her as my arm just lost all feeling and hung off the bed. I flinched and whimpered as my hand hit the floor. Solidarity looked over at her with a heavy frown. He looked over at me, " You and her have been out for two days straight. I told the hermits, and they sent over some medicine and upgrades to our communicators." he held up a dark blue communicator. 

 My body twitched as I made myself circle up on the warm bed. Solidarity scanned me with the device and smiled slightly, " Well, the good news is that you got out of the forest in time... You should be better by tomorrow. The bad news is that being in the cold made you sick." he stood up. 

 I sighed. Perfect. I may be getting better, but my hands are fusing together still. I looked at him as Zee came down the stairs. The other American nodded as Solidarity as he left the room. Zee sat down in the chair as I gave him a confused look. 

 " Solidarity and I trade shifts." he explained as he looked at his brown communicator. Zee sighed, " Well, I assume he told you that you're doing better?" he questioned as I nodded. I looked over at Netty causing him to glance over at her, " She hasn't moved that much. She's actually spoken a few times, but it only seemed to be gibberish. She did, however, mention you and Stampy a few times." 

 " Did?" I slurred out as Zee nodded. The builder looked over at me again before standing up. He opened his inventory and brought out some splash healing potions. Zee sighed as he poured some out onto his hand and splashed the both of us. The mustached man had a quizzing look on his face, " Why would Netty go out by herself?" he asked to no one as he leaned against the wall.  

 Stampy came downstairs, " I can explain it...." he sighed as he shoved his hands into his hood pockets. Zee gave him a confused look, " Your memory was erased of it Zee, but Salemslady, like your friends Taurtis and Pearl, has been kidnapped. Netty was trying to find her." he explained causing Zee to look at me.

 Zee had a look a pure confusion as he frowned. He looked at me as I nodded slightly. The watchers probably erased Zee's memory. Zee was in control of the server now, after all. Stampy frowned again, " Sorry for not telling you sooner." he mumbled as his ears lowered. Zee patted him on the shoulder, " It's fine, Sta- ah... ah..." Zee sneezed into his arm and frowned. 

 " Okay?" I slurred again and coughed. Zee looked at me and nodded, " Just a little sick... It's been on and off for the last couple of days." he shrugged with a reassuring look. I looked at my arms and nodded to myself. I remained on my back and forced myself to sit up and leaned against the backboard. 

 Stampy and Zee both looked at me with shocked and concerned looks. I waved my more moveable hand at them. They both nodded and smiled slightly. I looked behind them and gasped. 

 Netty's eyes were open.

 " Netty!" Stampy gasped as his tail wiggled. He kneeled down beside Netty's bed. The hybrid looked at him tiredly and smiled at the three of us, " I'm sorry for going out..." she whispered as her smile turned into a frown. 

 I shook my head, " No...." I coughed causing Netty to look at me. Netty's eyes widened as she looked at me, " You... You don't look well, Martyn..." she whimpered as she looked at me. I shrugged my shoulders, " Fine..." I told her. 

 Netty begrudgingly nodded before turning her attention to her brother, " Why.... how did you get here, Stampy? There are no portals to connect your world to any of the others." she frowned. Stampy sat down on the floor; a sad expression was on his face. 

 " A hybrid along with a siren appeared and started to take the others by clasping bracelets and collars to them." I watched as tears prickled the edges of Stampy's eyes, " The odd accessories turned my friends into stone and teleported them..." he mumbled. Stampy looked at the three of us, " I managed to force a portal open through commands and ended up here in EVO." he looked directly at Netty and I.

 Stampy's shoulders were shaking, " When I saw you two, I felt so relieved.... The only problem was that giant cat creature.... It... It looked almost like me... It was dreadful, but I couldn't let it hurt you both." he whimpered causing Netty to put her hand on his shoulder. 

 " You did good Stamps.... We'll figure this out... You, me, the Evolutionists, Stumpt, the Wattpadders, and the hermits.... We'll save everyone." Netty told him as the beautiful light returned to her tired eyes. Netty quickly fell asleep after that inspiring little statement. 

 I smiled at her as my own body started to feel tired again. Zee and Stampy started to talk as I drifted off to sleep.
