Ryder and the pups were outside, relaxing by the tree near the cliff. "Hey Ryder, I'll be right back." said Skye as she walked to her pup house. "Pups, you all have been working so hard, you deserve to have a whole week off." said Ryder as the pups smiled and howled. Rocky was looking up at the sky and he noticed something heading right towards them. "Um...Ryder? What is that thing heading right towards us?" said Rocky. "Huh. It kinda looks like.." said Ryder as he was trying to get a closer look, and then he could tell what it was now. "A METEOR!! Pups, run!" said Ryder as he and the pups ran away from where the meteor was going to crash. Even though they were far from where the meteor was landing, the collision from the meteor made them launch back.

Skye hit her head in her pup house from the impact of the meteor and she walked outside, feeling a little woozy. After her sense came back, she looked and saw Ryder and the pups laying down on the concrete where the vehicles are parked. "Ryder! Pups! Are you guys okay?" said Skye as she checked on them. "Yeah. We're alright Skye." said Ryder as he rubbed his head since it hurt a little. "Hey Ryder sir, look. The meteor, it's glowing." said Chase as he walked over to it. Ryder and the rest of the pups walked over to it and Chase was right, the meteor was glowing. "It's kinda pretty." said Rubble. "Hmmmm. Rocky, do you have anything that we can use to cut the meteor open and see why it's glowing?" said Ryder. "You got it Ryder! Ruff! Power-saw!" said Rocky as his pup pack pulled out a power-saw and gave it to Ryder.

"Let's see why this thing is glowing." said Ryder as he started to cut through the meteor and when he finished, there were six colorful, glowing pup tags inside with the colors of the pups' pup tags. "Whoa!" said Marshall as he got a closer look. "Pups, they look just like your pup tags." said Ryder. "Let's take them back to the lookout and test an experiment on them." said Ryder. But as he picked up the glowing tags, they all went into the pups' pup tags and it made them launch off again. "Pups! Are you all okay?" said Ryder as the pups nodded their head. "Ugh! I feel strange." said Rubble as he bumped into Skye and it sent her flying, but she stopped herself in midair without her pup pack. "Whoa!" said Chase. "Skye, how'd you do that?" said Rocky. "I don't know. This is a little weird." said Skye. "Pups, back to the lookout. We have to figure this out." said Ryder as he and the pups headed to the lookout.
