A New Home For Eri

Mirio stood stoically in front of the two villain bosses, eyeing them down with a cold glare.

"Let her go!" Commanded the Blond hero, assuming a fighting stance.

"You want her? Come and get her." Said Mightless.

Mirio suddenly rushed in, running straight for Eri. Mightless, however, stood still, not trying to stop him, allowing Mirio to reach Chrono, and kick him into the wall. However, before he could grab Eri, stone spikes shot out of the ground, going right through Mirio thanks to his quirk.

"Mightless! What the hell are you doing!?" Chisaki yelled.

"Oh I'm sorry, I was under the impression that you were supposed to protect her, not me." Mightless chuckled, "So instead, I'm just gonna sit back and watch you struggle with him."

Letting out an annoyed grunt, Chisaki placed his hand on the floor, as the tiles shattered like glass, before reforming into spikes, covering the entire battlefield. Mirio was unharmed, luckily, but he was too busy trying to lift Eri to safety.

"Do you have no regard for your own child." Yelled Mirio.

"I have no child." Chisaki coldly replied, "Besides, It doesn't matter whether I destroy her or not, I can just rebuild her with my quirk."

Hearing the sheer lack of care coming from Chisaki made Mirio's blood boil.

"Besides, it wouldn't be the first time I used it on her."

That last line did it. Just then, Chrono got back up, trying to fire at him.

"Aim for the arm that's carrying Eri, he'll be forced to keep that part vulnerable to protect her." Said Chisaki, sprouting more spikes at him.

Chrono drew is gun and fired, however, his target wrapped himself in his cape, making it harder for him to aim at vulnerable spots.

"Damn, this guy's good." Commented Chrono, as Mirio rose from the ground, uppercutting him.

Just then, the floor below Chrono lifted up, separating the two. Just then, Chisaki noticed that Mirio dropped Eri, and charged straight at her.

"Eri's still in that cape, if I destroy her, he'll be demoralized."

Before he can reach her however, Mirio flew in, punching him across the face.

"I'll never let you hurt Eri again." Mirio yelled out, his fist fazing through Chisaki's hand and nailing him in the face, "A hero's cape is for bundling up a young girl who's in terrible pain!"

Chrono tried getting up, but instead of fighting, it seemed he was crawling away instead, which seemed to piss off Chisaki.

"CHRONO! GET BACK HERE AND HELP ME FIGHT" Chisaki yelled, only to get nailed across the face again.

"You may be a cunning leader, and a ruthless one too." Mirio said, hitting Chisaki with a barrage of fists, to the point where Chisaki dropped to his knees, "But I'm stronger!"

With those words being said, Eri felt the warmth of Mirio's cape, as it resonated with the warmth she felt within her chest. Mirio delivered a decisive uppercut, one so strong that the Yakuza leader lifted off the ground.

"I won't let you lay another finger on her! I'll take both you and Mightless down!" Mirio said valiantly, "It's over, Chisaki!"

Just then, a bullet went right through Mirio's leg. But unlike before, Mirio couldn't defend from it. Instead, the bullet dug into the young hero's calf, as blood gushed out of the exit wound, causing Mirio to pause his combo and drop to his knees, clutching his leg in pain.

"Take me down too huh?" Asked Mightless, who was finally making a move, "Now you've caught my interest."

"About time you stepped in!" Chisaki grunted, leaning against one of the spikes he made.

Now that Mightless was making a move, Mirio turned his attention to him, the adrenaline coursing through his body, practically numbing the bullet wound in his leg.

"This guy... he's definitely trouble..." Thought Mirio, panting nervously as he took out a defensive stance.

"Going defensive against me?" Izuku asked as his eyes turned black and red, "Bad Choice."

Suddenly, with nearly no warning nor sigh of movement at all, the villain appeared in front of Mirio, digging his fist into the hero's stomach. The hero gasped for air, which had completely escaped his body with the force of that punch, as a second fist slammed into into the rough, cement floor.

"Damn it, why won't my quirk activate?!"

Picking up the limp ragdoll of a hero, Mightless looked at him sadistically.

"Come on, was that all you got?" Asked the villain, as he smashed him back down to the ground, cracking the cement floor.

Letting go of the hero, Mightless got back upright, kicking him in the sides and flinging him a few feet back. Mirio, on the other hand, tried to faze through the floor, but was unable to, instead looking like he was just kissing the floor.

"Forget your quirk, Hero, I as long as I have you in my sights, you won't be able to activate it." Mightless explained, "Aizawa's quirk is quite useful, don't you think?"

"A-Aizawa? That quirk is Aizawa-Sensei's?" Asked Mirio, slowly getting up, only to get a knee in the stomach, causing him to fall back down.

"Of course! It was one of the first quirks I stole using All For One, though not THE first." Mightless replied, slowly removing his glove, "Though, I can demonstrate exactly what it does to you, but first..."

Suddenly, spikes shot out from behind the villain, impaling both hero and villain. Mightless however, seemed unaffected by the injuries, as he pulled the stone spikes out of his sternum. Mirio, on the other hand, clutched his sides as blood gushed out of his open wounds.

"I should have known you were planning on betraying me, Chisaki." Mightless said coldly, not even looking at the Yakuza member as both a sign of disrespect, and a means to make sure Mirio doesn't use his quirk the second he leaves his sights.

"I never planned to join you anyways, and now, you are rendered helpless. If you turn your back to face me, the hero escapes and beats you, otherwise, I kill you." Chisaki growled, "I was originally planning to blow you to bits once we evacuated, but screw it, there's no way in hell mother luck will give me such an opportunity to kill both Villain and Hero!"

Suddenly, Mightless let out a light chuckle, as he turned around, allowing Mirio to leave his sights.

"Chisaki, my friend." Mightless laughed, "I'm never without a backup."

Suddenly, Chrono got up, and fired his gun. Only this time, he wasn't aiming at Mirio nor Mightless, but at his old boss: Chisaki. Two bullets went into his back, as Chisaki yelled in pain, dropping to his knees. Turning around, Chisaki sent out a murderous glare at his former subordinate.

"CHRONO!" Chisaki yelled, "WHY!? WHY HAVE YOU BETRAYED ME!?"

Chrono let out a small chuckle, before removing his mask, revealing Sachi's face

"Sorry Bird-bro, Chrono was never here to begin with." He said, removing his hood as well.

"Sa-Sachi..." Chisaki uttered in disbelief, before dropping to the floor, his entire body going numb.

"Tranquilizer bullets."

Giving out a sadistic smile, Mightless walked up to him, the holes in his body having fully regenerated.

"Chisaki, my friend, did you really think I would have trusted you among our ranks?" Asked Mightless, squatting down to Chisaki's paralyzed body, "This whole operation, this set-up hero raid, it wasn't for Eri."

"Then what was it for!?" Mirio yelled out from behind him, struggling to get up, "Why would you have went through so much trouble to carry her out here if she had no use to you!? Do you have any idea how many times she was almost mutilated!?"

Hearing this, Mightless chuckled, picking up Eri.

"I must say, it was quite amusing, seeing you try and protect her." Mightless laughed.

"Let her go!" Mirio yelled out, ignoring his provocative banter.

"Although, this one has served it's use." Mightless laughed.

Suddenly, Both Chisaki and Mirio's eyes widened, their jaws agape, their nerves shot as time itself seemed to stop at the sight of what happened: with a swing of his fist, the villain sent Eri's head flying off her body.

"NNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Mirio and Chisaki cried out in unison, as Mightless laughed like an uncontrollable psychopath.

Suddenly, to both of them's surprise, Eri's corpse melted, which may have confused Mirio, but pissed off Chisaki, whom recognized this phenomenon. Clutching the floor with his numbed body, Chisaki let out a rage filled roar.

"SHE WAS A CLONE!?" Chisaki yelled, "WHERE'S ERI!? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO THE REAL ERI!?"

Sachi shot him again, with another tranquilizer bullet, making sure to keep him sedated.

Flashback...

As Kurogiri lifted Eri into his arms.

"You're safe now, Eri, now let's get out of here." Said Kurogiri, reassuringly.

"W-what? out? But he'll notice that I'm gone and find me! He always finds me!" Eri said in a worried tone.

Now knowing what was going on, Erio let go of her rescuer, backing away from him.

"I'm so happy to have met someone as kind as you, but I'm not wanted." Eri said, her voice shaking as she curled into a ball, "Everything I do hurts people, I accidentally made someone disappear once, I'll end up hurting you, and then, you hate me too, like everyone else."

"Don't say that Eri!" the bartender said, patting her head, "There are a lot of people out there who are looking for you as we speak, including us. The world isn't as bad as you think, Eri, so come, I'll show you what I mean."

Eri looked up to Kurogiri.

"Y-you mean it?"

"Eri, I don't even want to know what terrible things these people told you, but whatever it was, it's all lies." Kurogiri reassured her, "Nobody loves you? Am I a nobody then? You are unwanted? Then why am I in here? Whatever terrible things you've heard, forget them, because you don't have to worry now, because I am here."

Eri touched the side of her cheeks, as tears ran down her face.

"Kurogiri? What's going on?" Eri asked with beady eyes, "I'm crying but I'm not sad, am I sick?"

The bartender's heart nearly skipped a beat when hearing this, as he put the young girl into his embrace.

"No, you're perfectly fine, now, let's get out of here." Said Kurogiri, as he opened a portal.

Eri braced herself, as the two entered into a new room. The second the warmth in the air, that contrasted the cold, soulless feel of her old bedroom, Eri felt herself at ease, as she saw some people of different outfits, opposing the similar uniforms everyone she met was in sitting by what seemed to be a bar, although, she didn't really know what a bar was. As Kurogiri walked past some of these characters, one of them, a young blond girl, got up, running to Kurogiri.

"Oh my god! She's so cute!" The girl squealed energetically, looking at her with a loving gaze.

"Easy now, miss Toga, she just arrived, I think it's best if we took this a little slower." Kuro said, pushing her back a little bit as he took her to the medical room, "And twice? Make a clone of her, so that those goons don't notice that she's gone."

"Sure thing." Said Twice, pulling out his ruler.

"W-will it hurt?" Eri asked, trembling.

"It won't." Kurogiri said, "Although, if you're still scared, then hold my hand, and it will be over quick."

End Of Flashback...

"The real Eri is long back at our hideout, getting to know our members and probably getting more love than she's even gotten in her life." Sachi answered, sitting down next to Chisaki, "I could have joined you, I really could, maybe even would had I not met Izu-bro first, but you violated one of my biggest moral codes: You were selfish."

"Then why!? why all of this!? Why go through all of this trouble to bring down the Eight Precepts if you can just take away our main objective whenever you want!?"

"Many reasons, actually." Replied Mightless, "For one, to avoid a war between the Eight Precepts and the league by having the heroes terminate you guys for us to avoid casualties, for another, so that I can gather more Intel and find out more about the heroes, but most importantly..."

Mightless squatted down to Chisaki's level

"So that I can take both of your quirks." He said, smiling sadistically, as his hand closed in to grab Chisaki.

Suddenly, a hand grabbed Mightless from below, and flung him into the side of the wall.

"What the-" Sachi barely managed to say before the knocked out with a kick.

"Mirio..." Mightless grunted, "So you can still move huh?"

"Yeah, barely." The young hero said, before dropping to his knees.

"Hey! Mirio right? Can you please place my hand of my shoulder?" Asked Chisaki.

"And why should I do that?" Asked Mirio.

"Listen, I'm tranquilized, and you're injured, If I can manage to touch any part of my body, I can destroy and reconstruct myself, getting rid of the tranquilizer's effect. Otherwise, I'm useless and you'll end up getting slaughtered by him." Explained Chisaki, "Now hurry up and choose! Either you work with me or we both die."

While against it, seeing how blurry his vision was getting from the blood loss, Mirio grabbed Chisaki's arm, placing it on his shoulder.

"As if I'd let you!" Mightless came out of the blue, nailing Mirio in the back before he could finish his action.

As Mirio dropped to the ground next to Chisaki, barely conscious, Mightless walked up to the downed hero.

"Well played Mirio, well played."

Just then, he heard the Yakuza leader mutter something, and grabbed him by his head.

"Sorry, what was that? speak up!" Asked Mightless playfully.

"I said." Mirio uttered, as his right arm dangled onto Mirio's chest, "Screw it!"

Suddenly, the Young hero's torso popped like a grape, only to reform a fraction of a second later. Seeing this, Panic shot through the villain as he tried to attack Mirio, only to have the Young Hero sink through the floor.

"Damn it! Where did he go!?"

The young hero launched out of the ground, hitting the villain in the back, making him cough out blood. Enraged, Mightless swung at the Young hero, but only to have him sink under the floor again, launching out at him from a different angles and hitting him from multiple directions.

"So you said as long as I'm within your line of sight, my quirk won't activate?" Mirio yelled out, nailing the villain in the guts, "Then I'll just have to make sure every single one of my attacks happen out of your line of sight.

kicking Mightless in the sides, the villain was sent flying back several feet.

"Damn it, gotta focus, predict his movement, and see where he will pop up next..."

He suddenly felt movement behind him.

"RIGHT THERE!" He yelled, activating his quirk right as Mirio lunged at him, allowing Mightless to hit him across the face, "Gotcha!"

Mirio wasn't fazed however, despite the hit bruising his cheeks, as he flung his left hand at him, throwing a handful of dust into the villain's eye, blinding him, before kicking him in the stomach.

"Don't think we'll just let you have her Mightless!" Mirio yelled out, "Once I defeat you, I'll track down your hideout and save her!"

Hearing this only made the Villain heave a little, as his hand, now formed into claws, dug into the ground and threw a chunk at Mirio.

"You heroes are all the same!" the Villain yelled, "Claiming you'll "save" people, oh sweet! You're gonna save that guy! That's nice! But do you really think you can save everyone!?"

The chunk of stone flew right through Mirio, only for him to get ambushed by a blinded Mightless, who also went right past the hero due to his eyes being closed.

"If you really could, there won't be this many villain, you naive child!" He continued to rant, "There will always be someone out there suffering Mirio."

The villain got nailed across the face after Mirio heard that.

"I know that much! But even the smallest contribution can help create a better world!"

"Then don't act like you can save everyone!" Mightless bellowed, "You heroes are about as effective as using a gun on a colony of ants! For every one villain you take out, 10 are created!"

"Then what makes you stand out?!" Mirio yelled back, nailing Mightless in the face, "What can you do that we heroes can't!?"

"I can make everything change!" Mightless yelled, finally able to land a lucky hit on Mirio, "Something I'm sure none of you heroes are familiar with, because it's something you don't want!"

"That's because we'd rather die than to let you villains run this world!" Mirio retorted, punching him back.

"None of you..." Mightless roared, "NONE OF YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE BIGGER PICTURE!"

Glaring at Mirio to erase his quirk, Mightless grabbed the hero and slammed him into the ground.

"You heroes only attack the dandelion at the tip, while I'm aiming for it's root! you trim unwanted hedges instead of uprooting them to begin with! There is a source to the villains that constantly appear and none of you are attacking it, only what it produces!" Mightless yelled.

Mirio spat into Mightless's eye, forcing him to blink and allowing him to escape the villain's grasp, kicking him towards Chisaki.

"The world we live in is the product of decades worth of struggle and hardship. Years after years of protests, wars, infighting, all spent to make the peaceful world we live in today, Mightless." Mirio yelled back, "While there is still flaws, Tearing down all this hard work is simply not the way, why can't you see that?"

"Then how many more must suffer until these problems are fixed!?" Mightless yelled, grabbing the unconscious body of Chisaki and Throwing it at him, "How many more quirkless kids must suffer discrimination until they can finally be told that they too can become a hero!?"

Despite him knowing that Chiskai was the enemy, Mirio's heroic instinct got the better of him as caught him, and threw him aside, only to realize his quirk would not activate, as he was once more within Mightless's gaze. He then threw a handful of dust, trying to once more blind Mightless, which it did, almost allowing for another escape, as we went in to punch Mightless. Just then, Mightless placed his hand on his face, as suddenly, the villain's head popped like a grape, surprising Mirio enough to stop dead in his tracks as the Villain's head reformed, good as new.

"Ah, that was refreshing!" said Mightless.

"He took Chisaki's quirk when he threw him." Thought Mirio, as he went in to punch him.

Just then, Mightless's chest popped as Mirio tried to punch him, only to reform, only this time, Mirio's arm was stuck in him.

"W-what!? what is this!?" Mirio yelled out, shocked.

"Oh, I just fused the two of us together, basically, now, once your quirk activated, it will affect me, too, speaking of which..."

Mightless reaching out at him.

"It's time I took your quirk too."

As Mightless reached for the hero, Mirio smirked.

"You're not the only one who plans ahead, Chisaki, now!" Mirio called out.

Suddenly, Chisaki, who woke up, fired his own gun, loaded with a very special drug, one Mightless was very familiar of. Mightless was barely able to react, as he jerked left, using Mirio as a meatshield, who took the bullet for him.

"It's no use, we are one remember? That means one of your quirks will be taken out too!" Mirio yelled out.

Suddenly, the villain felt the drug take effect, coursing through his body. In a state of panic, he separated himself from Mirio, before both of them fell to the ground, Mirio smiling while doing so. Getting back up, the villain panicked, as he activated every single quirk he had to see which one he lost. Heat containment? It's still there, Glow? It's intact, as well as multiple limbs, limb mutation, Enhanced Senses, his two strength enhancements, speed enhancements and regeneration and Nomu creation. As for the quirk he stole off people? He still had Decay (Shigaraki), Overhaul (Chisaki), Homing (Snipe), and...

"No... No no no no no no no..." Mightless uttered.

"Aizawa's quirk is now no longer in your hands, it seems." Chisaki chuckled weakly, before passing out.

"DAMN IT!" Mightless yelled, swinging at Mirio's down body, but just then, the wall behind him broke, as Todoroki and Katsuki came running through.

"Right on time!" Katsuki yelled out.

"No." Night-eye retorted,"It seems we were a lick too late."

"Sir Night-eye..." Mirio uttered, stumbling into the hero's arms.

"You did amazing our there, Mirio." Said Night-eye, before turning to Mightless, "As for you, you've caused enough damage as it is, Mightless, It's about time we put you down."

Seeing how he was outnumbered, Mightless placed his hand on the ground, Night-eye glared at him, looking into his future. What he saw was the villain leader, carrying his unconscious subordinate into a dark portal.

"Damn it..." He muttered under his breath, now knowing that the villain was gonna escape.

Todoroki and Katsuki jumped at Mightless, but just then, the ground beneath them shattered once more, before turning into a bed of spikes, grazing the two. Night-eye threw two stamps at Mightless, who blocked them with his right arm, before throwing a jagged piece of stone at the hero. The hero dodged, looking once more into Mightless's eyes, looking for a status update. But his eyes widened at what he saw.

"MIRIO! KATSUKI! SHOTO! GET DOWN!" Night-eye yelled as the ceiling caved in on the group.

Apparently, one of the Eight Expendables doped himself on trigger, only to have Uraraka, along with Tsuyu and Hado come in and, with a elaborate combo which required the help of Ryuku, the number nine hero, smash the villain all the way down into the base's basement.

However, due to Mirio's weakened body, he wasn't able to get out of the way in time, as was caught under the falling debris. Seeing this, Night-Eye rushed to rescue him. The hero lifted the piece of cement what Mirio was trapped under, despite it weighting nearly the weight of a car.

"S-Sensei?" Uttered Mirio.

"It's fine Mirio, you're safe now." Reassured Night-eye, despite his struggle to keep the piece from crushing him.

However, looking into Mirio's eyes, all he saw was the student's face of anguish, and all of a sudden, blackness.

"SENSEI! LOOK OUT!" Cried the distant voice of Todoroki and Katsuki, although Katsuki cried "Glasses" instead.

Suddenly, another piece of debris fell down, one with several metal beams protruding from it, as it fell onto the hero, impaling him in four different areas. Panic shot out, as Mirio leaped out of his rocky tomb, carrying Night-eye out of danger with what little strength he had remaining.

Meanwhile, while the two students were distracted, Mightless sent both of them flying back with the swing of his fist.

"Well, I must get going." Said Mightless, carrying Sachi's unconscious body, "See ya!"

"Wait!" Katsuki called out, stopping the villain right before his escape, "Deku... please, you don't have to do this..."

"A little late Kacchan." Replied Mightless, "Soon, the whole world will know true justice."

As the villain and his subordinate left, the rest of the police and hero came to the room, taking charge of the situation, arresting all stragglers as well as Chisaki and tending to the wounded.

The raid was finally over.

As Izuku returned to the league, he was met with laughs and a cheerful air, as he saw Eri playing with Spinner and Twice.

"She's adapting pretty well, isn't she?" he asked Kurogiri.

"She is, but it seems she still trusts me over everyone else." replied Kurogiri.

Looking at Her gleeful smile, Izuku felt a unfamiliarly warm feeling in his chest, as he sat down, and watched the girl from afar.

"You should go meet her, I already told her about you." Said Kurogiri.

"Sure." Izuku replied, walking up to Eri, who looked at him with curiosity.

"Hello Eri, my name is Izuku Midoriya." He greeted, lending her his hand "So, how are you?"
