Worrying about the impact last year made from the drama and gossip you stirred up is overwhelming your mind today. So much that you just don't know to what chose to wear on the first day of school!

Your dad tells you to hurry it up and so you do go with the pink attire like the pretty princess you are. You wore this last year hopefully it still fits...

Luckly, it doesn't because that was not doing it for you, so you then throw on all the blue shit you can find in your closet. Tying your hair up looking effortless but still hot and preppy you add butterfly clips and you're on your way!

You go to class... The only seat available is by the weird kid. You sit down, your lips are a little dry, so you pull out your cherry lip balm. You turn to the boy ;)

He's sleeping, he looks peaceful. The teacher walks in and clears her throat "Oh um Lagoona can you wake up Useless?" you nod slightly pushing them. Up close they don't seem so bad... you thought to yourself.

They awake and the teacher goes on about how we're staying in our seats for the whole year, and that the person next to us will always be your partner for the rest of the school year. Your eyes widen and you can hear your social status breaking down.

"Also, for this week we will have a project, yes a project you guys will go to each other's houses and document each other until the end of the week." Five papers are passed down the rubric the test form.

And the draft. Seems like we have to create a PowerPoint. "You are all dismissed until Sunday now get out of my classroom."

You look to Useless and he's already looking at you... <3

You blush looking away.

"So, the person themself Lagoona Frickles, is my project partner for the rest of the school year. Oh Noooooo!" Useless says in an irritating mocking voice. You scoff and roll your eyes while packing up. 

"And what was that?!"  You look directly at them 

"That was you what else could it be?" he chuckles 

"It sounded like a freaking muppet dying" you say throwing your bag over your shoulder. 

"Should we head over to my house because I don't think your father likes me..."

"Come on, he doesn't bite. Maybe if you grew some BALLS" You said pointing at him

"HEY, DON'T TALK ABOUT MY MASSIVE JUICY BALLS!"

"SAYS THE PERSON WHO CAN'T SWIM!"

"OH, PLEASE I'M LEARNING OKAY!" His face becomes red.

You laugh breaking down, out of embarrassment you watch as he leaves. You go out of the classroom and he's nowhere to be found. Maybe you took it too far he's most likely insecure about that... You thought to yourself.

You continued throughout the day, and it was time to leave. Your bestie Charol called you over. "Hey Lagoona! C'mere!" You ran to each other.

"So... I know you hate parties Lagoona-BUT, but this one is a chill one only close invites. SO you're coming with me!"

"Charol, you know I'm grounded!"

"We'll just say we're partners for this project." She pulls out the paper and smiles

"Okay fine, but you do the talking, you know my dad is scary."

"So we'll talk to your mom! Come on let's go"

You stop to see Useless on his black motorcycle. You both exchange contact, "Ooooo, Useless Speedthorn... I believe in you girl-"

"WHAT! No no it's not like that" You jump at the remark 

"Okay... Well let's go try to avoid your dungeon master." Charol takes your hand and you both skip to her pink car. She has old money with her limited edition pink 1985 Pontiac Firebird.

She parks just beside the curb and exhales loudly

You both get out and go inside your father is right behind the front door. "Lagoona. Charol. why are you guys here so early?" 

"Oh well-" Charol iterrupts you

"Because we have a project that goes from today to friday. I was gonna ask you if it would be okay if Lagoona were to stay at my place. Since I have the materials to do this project, we have to document each other 24/7 so we're pretty much handcuffed."

Your dad looks at you and feel chills go down your spine.

"I know your big on football and the finals are this week, so I can take Lagoona and you can enjoy your football. And if you're worried about her we'll send photos in the middle of the day and before we go to bed."

Your dad nods, "Well if it's Mekenzie's daughter then I'm on board."

"Okay well I'll drop her off on friday! See ya then!" You both wave to your dad and sit in the car.

"Holy shit... No wonder you were on the debate team." 

"Well, I'm taking you out tonight" Charol grinned

You stared at her, you used to be close as if you were dating until Danny Speedthorn came in. Useless older brother, he doesn't treat her right every night you wonder why she tries hard. But she'll never talk about how she really feels about him.
