    She frowned, staring at her phone for a while before letting out an exaggerated sigh. "He's not coming after all."

    Raella poked her head out from the kitchen at the evident dismay in Saige's voice. "That's a bummer," she laughs. "Maybe he's tired from work and the flight. You know how hectic their schedule was."

    "Yeah." Saige nodded. "That makes sense." She shrugs, her mood lifting. "The important thing is I get to see Maddie again after almost half a year."

    The thought of seeing Madison and the rest of the cast was enough to mask the dull ache blooming in her chest. She set her phone down on the coffee table, retreating back to her comfortable position on the couch.

    Of course, he wasn't coming. Why would he? It was foolish of her to think he would make an appearance. He obviously wasn't interested in meeting her—or Raella, for that matter. Saige huffed at that. Truthfully so, she was bummed out about the whole thing. She was hoping she could meet Drew after all these years. Then again, spending time with the others was also something she was looking forward to. Besides, there was no point in dwelling on what could have been.
