"Do we seriously have to do this?" Jaehyun groaned, slumping his head back to the seat as his manager sighed. Jieun sat silently beside him as she looked out of the window. Right now they were heading to an interview together to answer a couple of questions the fans are curious about. With that happening Jaehyun couldn't help but be anxious. How long was this act gonna last?

"It's gonna last only a month Jaehyun-ah. Just an act. Think of this as your acting debut." Jaehyun scoffed at his manager's remark before looking towards Jieun. The girl seemed to be in her own world. Sighing he tapped her shoulder.

"Hey" his low voice snapped the girl out of her trance as she looked back at Jaehyun who had his lips pressed into a thin line. It looked like he was trying hard to form a sentence.

"Hi" the tension was high, Jaehyun could tell. Rubbing his hands he faced the girl and tried to make small talk. Why was this so awkward? He thought. For goodness sake, they even shared intimate moments just for it to end up in this kind of situation.

"Are you nervous?" He asked as Jieun laughed a bit shaking her head. Seriously what kind of a question was that?

"Of course I'm nervous. I don't know what to answer." She replied honestly as Jaehyun hummed. Happens, he thought.

"Don't worry. I'll answer their questions." He said before pausing. Should he really ask it? He was debating whether or not he should ask. Finally throwing unnecessary thoughts away he decided to ask.

"What about your...father? How did he react?"

Jieun was startled. She stared at him wide-eyed before snapping out of her trance.

"Oh...his reaction wasn't worst but definitely not the best either. He was shocked." She said as Jaehyun hummed, once again the silence being welcomed by both individuals. The manager kept giving the driver directions as Jaehyun decided to take a nap. It would probably take some time for them to reach. Why not relax as he's gonna sweat later?

When Jaehyun opened his eyes he was met with the sight of the reporters stalling in front of the building. Even if that was a private interview they somehow managed to get there as the information was leaked. Cursing under his breath he got out with Jieun tagging along, his manager leading the way.

"Jung Jaehyun can you please-"

"When did you and-"

The place was a mess. Jaehyun couldn't decipher what they were asking and he didn't bother to. He felt dizzy by all the attention which in itself is ironic considering the fact that he's an idol.

"Welcome, Ms. Oh and Mr. Jung. Please take a seat" once they reached the top floor where the interview was supposed to take place Mrs. Kwon, their interviewer, asked them to take seats. Jieun sat beside Jaehyun and tried to put on her best smile even though she was dying inside. The cameras panned in different angles capturing the visually pleasing couple before it settled on the interviewer.

"How do you think the fans will react?" She asked tilting her head with a small smirk as Jaehyun smiled widely showing his dimples.

"I hope they'll accept and keep supporting us" lies. If there would be anyone enraged by the dating news it would be fans. More specifically delusional ones. And to his misfortune, most of them were delusional enough to think that they had a chance with him. He knew that himself. But he had to act along. For the sake of his reputation. He would rather be caught up in a dating scandal than a possible male prostitute scandal along with his members and several other idols.

The industry worked differently. It's all rainbows and butterflies unless you're in it yourself. This career they built is all based on reputation. Once the reputation is lost, they're down to the start finding it hard to climb up again.

"What attracted you to Jieun?" The interviewer asked as Jaehyun took a good glance at the girl who, for his surprise, was blushing a bit as soon as the question was thrown towards them.

"She's really nice, friendly and down to earth. Beauty is a plus" he said as Mrs. Kwon nodded before looking at Jieun.

"Miss Oh, what attracted you to him?" Jieun choked out a bit as Jaehyun grabbed a cup of water handing it to her. The room was filled with coos as the male ignored it.

"He's really nice. He's straight forward, has great humor, loves sports, an angelic smile, and a beautiful voice. He's really aggressive tho."

The last part caught Jaehyun off guard as he found himself choking on air making the rest laugh. He grabbed a cup of water for himself avoiding the obvious glances he was getting from both the staff as well as the girl beside him. He knew they noticed that his ear was turning red.

"How did your first date go?"

"It went good." She said as she eyed him lovingly.

As the show continued Jaehyun noticed that Jieun felt more at ease as she answered the questions without being nervous. He smiled to himself before looking back only to meet the eyes of Mrs. Kwon who for some reason had her lips twitched to a smirk.

"Why don't you guys kiss?" She suggested earning looks from both Jaehyun and Jieun.

"What?"

"Excuse me?"

"What? I didn't ask you guys to do anything else, did I?" She asked before folding her arms over her chest earning a light groan from Jaehyun. Seriously what was wrong with the woman?

"Jaehyun...I don't think we should make a huge deal out of this" Jieun whispered near him as the male hissed out, holding himself from snapping back.

"But-"

He was cut off by a pair of lips on his as Jieun cupped his face, bringing him closer. She knew what she was doing was wrong but she couldn't help but do it. Not exactly when Jaehyun was this near in exposing both of them and their fake relationship. They had to keep up with the act.

She pulled out after a few seconds, wiping her lips as Jaehyun looked at her breathing heavily. His lips were shining and Jieun mentally hated herself for having the image of him from previous nights. The two regained their composure as Mrs. Kwon had her eyebrows raised. She looked...impressed?

"Oh, now I see why Jaehyun likes you Miss Oh. You're really confident." She remarked as the girl let out a small smile before looking back at the male who was still surprised by what happened.

"Let's continue with the questions then," Mrs. Kwon said as Jieun nodded lightly pinching Jaehyun to bring him back to reality. He snapped out of his trance before looking back at the host preparing himself for the rest of the interview.

Once they were down the cameras were turned off and both Jaehyun and Jieun got up only to be called back by the interviewer herself. She said that she had arranged lunch for both of them which they tried to deny but th woman was adamant whatsoever. Taking the offer they followed her and soon found themselves seated in one of the reserved seats.

"You both have a great scope in the acting field," she said before sipping on her wine, making them both frown. She scoffed at the reaction before placing the glass down.

"Why are you both looking at me like that? I was just stating the truth. Don't act like you both are a real couple. Mr. Lee said everything to me. In fact, you will be announcing the breakup news through our channel itself"

"Oh..." was all that left Jieun's mouth. No wonder why she held that cocky smirk as if she knew something the rest didn't.

"Also Jieun thanks for initiating the kiss since Jaehyun clearly was pissed off" she stifled a laugh as she looked at the male who was curling his fists.

"Calm down tiger. It was all by Sooman. If you have any complaints let it out on him and not me. I'm nothing but a mere actor like you guys." Said Mrs. Kwon as Jieun sighed before placing a hand on his shoulder. He threw the girl a look who passed him a small smile.

"That's right. We just have to endure each other for a month. After that, we'll have a fake breakup and move on with our lives"

"Exactly! C'mon Jieun. Share some brain cells with your dear boyf- oh I mean fake boyfriend"
