Sapphire's POV 💙

After Sonic left, I looked back over at Chip before I started getting him dressed in the clean clothes that I picked out for him.

"There. You're all clothed. Now, let's head on downstairs and go see Sonic." I said to Chip before I carried him in my arms.

But, as I turned around, I jumped a little seeing that Sonic was already back as I suddenly slapped him in the face, right directly on the left.

Sonic stared at me in shock while he had a hurt look in his eyes.

After seeing his reaction, I felt horrified and ashamed of myself after doing that.

"Oh crap! I-I'm so sorry, Sonic! I-I didn't mean to do that to you! I didn't see you there and it scared the living heck out of me." I apologized.

"It's a sudden reflex when someone sneaks up and scares me like that, even though they didn't mean to."

Sonic only blinked a little bit in surprise before telling me it's okay.

I sweat dropped a little as I thanked him before kissing him on the cheek to make it up with him and to prove that I was serious and really didn't mean to slap him.

After I parted, I caught Sonic smiling a little before kissing me on the lips in return.

I chuckled before handing Chip to him.

"No. Put him back in your arms for a sec." Sonic mentioned as he handed the little one back to me.

I grew confused as I asked him why.

"Don't you want to feed him?" Sonic mentioned.

"How can I? The only thing Chip can drink right now is your milk...Or did you perhaps found a way?" I asked as we walked out of the bathroom and went in the guest bedroom.

"I putted my milk in the bottle and warmed it up a bit, so it'll be easier." He mentioned, handing me a baby bottle filled with milk.

"Huh? How'd you manage to do that?" I asked again, curiously, while taking the bottle.

Sonic began to blush a little as he folded his arms.

"You'd mock me if I tell you." He says.

"I won't." I replied simply.

"I wanted to give you that chance very badly, so I did it using my hands since I don't have anything else that I can use..." Sonic explained.

"Oh really? Was it fun?" I asked in a teasingly manner.

"No! My hands hurt now!" He shot back.

"I could've helped you with that you know?" I say, teasing him more.

"Shut up and sit down!" Sonic says while blushing heavily in embarrassment as I started snickering silently to myself a bit, finding it really cute and hilarious when he reacts like that.

"So, I hold his head down and hold the bottle straight?" I questioned after I sat down on the bed before demonstrating.

"Yeah. Like that..." Sonic chuckled a little as he nodded.

I smiled as Sonic and I watched Chip drink the milk from the bottle.

"He looks so peaceful..." I began.

"I know, he's adorable..." Sonic replied as he smiled back.

After a while, Chip parted from the bottle, giving me the sign that he's full.

"Looks like Chip's had enough, but, there's still some left...Can I - - " I started to ask before getting cut off.

"NO!" Sonic went as he blushed again.

I couldn't stop snickering silently to myself a little after he said that.

I couldn't help it.

It's just really funny when Sonic makes those kind of reactions.

Once I stopped, then I stood up before looking over at Sonic.

"That reminds me...I have a surprise for you." I mentioned.

"What is it?" Sonic asked curiously.

"Follow me and you'll find out." I say, giggling a bit, before leaving the room.
