Sapphire's POV 💙

I rubbed my arm nervously as I tried to think up a short simple answer, and a summary of my explanation, to Tails.

"Um...Well...You see...Here's what happened while you went to get the tranquilizer gun..." I began before I started to explain every single detail of what happened, nervous about how Tails might react to this.

After I explained it all to Tails, he was shocked and horrified.

I don't think he has any words to say about what happened.

Then I pulled the first-aid kit back out and began to treat the bite I gotten on my neck, as Tails helped me bandage it up.

After the bite had been treated and taken care of, me and Tails headed out of the forest as we took Sonic with us.

There is one thing that makes me wonder though...

Why in the hell do werehogs have to so frickin heavy?!?!

It's already exhausting when you're only trying to move one!

Lucky for me and Tails, we made it back to the house and managed to lie Sonic down on the couch, before collapsing on the floor in exhaustion.

"Geez...Why's he gotta be really heavy since he's a werehog?" I panted before getting back up on my feet and heading in the kitchen to get two bottles of water once Tails and I had rested enough.

"I don't know, Sapphire...I don't know..." Tails replied as he looked at me.

I shrugged a little before handing Tails a water bottle.

While we were drinking out of the water bottles, I noticed something odd going on with Sonic, since he's still knocked out from the tranquilizer dart.

I nudged Tails in the arm a little before pointing at Sonic, after noticing strange neon markings on him.

Tails noticed it too and handed over the device that he gave me back at the laboratory before we got the three remaining blood samples.

I took the device and got myself another blood sample from Sonic.

After I got it, I picked it up and setted it beside Tails.

"What in the world was going on with Sonic? Those neon markings that were on him looked very familiar..." I asked as I looked over at Tails.

"Dark Gaia." He replied.

As soon as Tails said the words "Dark Gaia", I suddenly got another deja vu.

First, I called Sonic "Mister Monster Guy"...

Then me and Sonic had Chocolate Chip Sundae Supreme ice cream together...

And now the words, "Dark Gaia".

Why does all of this seem so familiar?

Do I have some sort of connection to all of this in my past life?

And why does it feel like I've met Sonic before when I was transported here because of a huge malfunction on a experiment I was working on in the past?

"Who or what is Dark Gaia?" I asked.

"Like how we have our positive and negative sides, Dark Gaia is the dark side of Earth." Tails explained.

I immediately understood what Tails was going on about.

"I see. So, if there's a Dark Gaia then there's also a Light Gaia too..." I said.

Tails nodded.

"Yeah. There is. And that would be Chip that Sonic had told you about." Tails replied.

"Wow...Earth sure is an amazing, very interesting, and a mysterious planet for us to live on." I said as Tails chuckled a little.

"Yeah. That's true." He says.

Then I looked over at Sonic, noticing that he was beginning to wake up.

"Mnh?" He went as he opened his eyes.

Then he noticed me standing next to him as always.

Sonic smiled a little as he looked at me in the face as I held his hand.

"Did you get all the blood samples that you need?" Sonic asked.
