Sapphire's POV 💙

I quickly brought out a first-aid kit and began to stop the bleeding first so things won't be really messy when I get to applying medicine and the bandages on Sonic's injury.

I can easily tell that it's really bad and that he's in horrible pain because Sonic had tears in his eyes, while trying his best to ignore the pain, as he looked over at me.

"Sapphire..." He began weakly.

I shushed him a little as I rested my free hand on his cheek, seeing that he was starting to feel a bit scared.

"Hush now...It'll be okay. I promise." I said to him gently as I stroked his cheek soothingly with my thumb.

Sonic slowly nodded before he kept his gaze on me.

Then I sprayed pain-free medicine on the wound, once I was sure the bleeding had completely stopped, before Tails helped me bandage the injury up.

I already had taken another sample of Sonic's blood and his fur, seeing that he was in the middle of some sort of transformation, before I pulled out the first-aid kit to stop the bleeding and to treat the injury a few minutes ago.

The color of his blood looked so different somehow.

I'll have to get a good look at it once I've gathered all the samples I need for the research.

"There. All finished." I said after the injury was disinfected and bandaged up.

Sonic smiled at me a little before I helped him up to his feet.

"Are you okay, Sonic?" I asked as I hugged him gently, being careful not to touch the injury and accidentally make Sonic wince in pain.

Sonic nodded a little as he hugged me back.

"Yeah. I'm okay. Thanks for treating the injury for me." Sonic replied before he buried his face into my shoulder.

I smiled and sighed in relief.

"You're very welcome...I'm glad you're okay as well. You had Tails and I really worried for a moment there."

Then I parted from hugging before giving Sonic a kiss.

"Be careful next time...Alright?" I said.

"Okay. I'll be careful this time." Sonic replied as he gave me a small chuckle.

"You better. You almost gave me and Tails a heart attack. If you had gotten attacked and injured directly at the chest, you wouldn't have survived it.

And we'd all end up suffering over the loss of your life because everyone's favorite blue hero was killed during the night." I mentioned before smacking him lightly on the shoulder.

Tails nodded in agreement as Sonic sweat dropped a little.

Sonic's POV 💎

"You didn't need to get on with me about that subject. I'm already aware of this too, y'know..." I said.

"Well, I'm just reminding you in case you forgot. Along with the reason why you're here." Sapphire mentions.

"Alright..." I replied.

Then Sapphire smiled again.

"Good." She said. "You know I really care and worry about you. Just like you care about everyone else here."

I sighed a little as I ruffled her on the head.

Acting a bit like a tsundere, are we?

Heh. That also reminds me of Shadow, now that I think of it.

I smiled at the thought of that before I flicked Sapphire on the forehead.

"Hey! What was that for?!" Sapphire asked as she looked at me.

I chuckled a little.

"Sometimes, you can be such a pain by nagging me, but that's one of my reasons why I always love you..." I said, making her blush.

"Sh-Shut up, you idiot..." Sapphire went as she tried to look angry.

"Love you too, my beautiful crystal..." I say before tickling her by the back of her neck, knowing that's where she's ticklish at.

Sapphire letted out a shriek before smacking my hand lightly.
