Then I heard the door unlock before Sapphire opened the door and noticed me.

Much to my surprise, she was in her lounge clothes and had a bathrobe on as she was wearing bunny slippers for her feet.

I also noticed that she's had a bath recently because her hair's a bit wet and she smelled nice.

"Oh! Sonic! You're here early." Sapphire says as she looks at me in surprise.

I chuckled a little as I rubbed the back of my neck sheepishly.

"Sorry. I have the habit of arriving early." I replied.

"That's okay. I don't mind at all." Sapphire says as she letted me in her house before shutting the door.

I sat down on the couch as Sapphire went in the kitchen.

Sapphire's POV 💙

"Would you like some tea, Sonic?" I asked from the kitchen.

"Sure." I heard Sonic answer.

I smiled before getting to work on heating the water up.

After putting the water in the tea kettle, I headed over and sat down next to Sonic.

"It'll be a bit. Other than that, how's your day going?" I asked as I looked at Sonic, while my heart was pounding a little.

"It's alright, I guess. Unless you wanna include that you were acting a bit strange." Sonic replies before he chuckled a bit.

I blushed a little in embarrassment.

"Y-Yeah. That was really awkward. It's just that I start to feel nervous about what it is I might say to you when you're around.

But, after talking it out with a close friend, I start to feel better." I explained.

"Oh! So, that's why..." Sonic went as he looked at me, understanding why I ran off a few hours ago.

I nodded.

After that, I heard a high pitched noise coming from the kitchen before I got up and hurried over to the stove.

After turning the stove off and setting the tea kettle aside, I grabbed two blue plastic cups before getting the tea bags and putting them in the cups.

Then I poured the hot water in the cups before setting the tea kettle aside.

"Tea's ready!" I said as I picked the cups up and walked over to the couch.

"You might wanna let it cool down first. It'll burn your tongue if you drink it now." I said as I gave Sonic a cup before he thanked me.

As me and Sonic setted the cups down on the table, I looked over at the clock and noticed that it's around 7:00 on the dot.

"Huh. Would you look at that. It's already 7:00. Not to mention it's also getting a bit dark." I said before looking out the window.

Sonic didn't say anything and drank his tea silently after he was sure it cooled down enough.

"Wow! The tea tastes so good. What flavor is it?" Sonic asked as he looked at me.

I smiled and chuckled a bit.

"It's called "Sakura". My favorite." I answered. "Tastes really good, don't it?"

"It does. I like it a lot." Sonic replies as he nodded in agreement.

I smiled as I blushed.

"I think you're cute, Sonic." I said to him before quickly looking away.

Sonic blushed too after hearing me say that.

"Wh-What makes you say that?" He asked while looking at me.

"Because you look really good with those green eyes you were born with." I explained. "You're just really cute."

"Oh? Like this?" I heard Sonic say before he suddenly gave me the puppy eyes look.

I gushed in adore after seeing him giving me that look.

"KYAAHH! So adorbs!!! I wanna cuddle him now!" I thought to myself, internally squealing.

I felt my face turn redder as I blushed more.
