~Dream~

His eyes were amberish colored and he was acting like an animal and a beast.

"Is his werehog side trying to consume him?" I asked the mirror.

The mirror rippled and shown me the word, "Yes".

I grew worried and a little scared.

I felt like I was talking to a Ouija board. But, I wanted answers very badly though.

"What can I do to prevent any of this from happening?" I asked the mirror again.

It didn't leave me a response.

I sighed after it mentioned that it wasn't so sure. The mirror couldn't see more into the future.

Before I could do anything, the mirror suddenly broke and shattered.

Water suddenly enveloped itself around me before I blacked out.

~End Of Sapphire's Dream~

Sapphire's POV 💙

I snapped awake and sat up on the bed, panting a little.

It was only a dream.

But, what the mirror had explained was most likely real.

I got up from the bed and yawned a little before heading to the bathroom.

I noticed that I had cried in my sleep because I see tear stains at the sides of my face.

My eyes were puffy and wet too.

I sighed and cleaned my face up before drying it off with a washcloth.

Then I walked out of my bedroom to check on Sonic.

As I approached the door, I knocked, asking Sonic if he was still asleep or awake.

"I'm awake..." I heard him say before I opened the door and went in.

Then I walked over and sat down next to Sonic before he chuckled a bit and pulled me close.

Sonic's POV 💎

"Is everything okay, Sapphire? I heard you crying a bit..." I asked as I embraced her into a hug.

Sapphire nodded before she buried her face into my chest.

-Flashback Memory-

A few minutes ago, I woke up to the sound of crying before realizing that the crying was coming from Sapphire.

I grew worried about her and wanted to go check and see if Sapphire's okay but my head was telling me no and that I should leave her alone for a bit.

Shortly after that, the crying stopped.

Then I heard footsteps before everything went silent.

I lied back down on the bed and stared at the ceiling.

I didn't know what to do so I stayed put.

-End Of Flashback-

"Yeah. I'm okay now. I just had a horrible nightmare." Sapphire answered as she hugged me tightly.

"What did you see? And what was it about?" I asked, feeling a little curious.

"I....I saw you get killed. You were defending yourself from someone and you got shot by a gun." Sapphire says before tears appeared and ran down to the sides of her face.

My face paled.

"You died from the gunshot. Your corpse was left behind, lying in a puddle of your own blood. It was too late to save you." She continued before her voice cracked.

"That's what I saw in the first half of my nightmare, Sonic....Your death."

I held Sapphire close as she started to cry.

"I'm so scared...I don't want to lose you, Sonic. You mean everything to me! I don't want anything bad happening to you that could put you in that situation and get you killed!

I don't even know what I should do to prevent this from happening so you won't wind up dying." Sapphire wept.

I shushed her gently while I ran my fingers through her hair.

"I don't know what to do either...But, hopefully we'll find a way to prevent anything bad from happening to me or you." I say before I started rubbing Sapphire's back soothingly.

Sapphire sniffed a little before looking up at me.

"Thank you, Sonic." She says as she relaxed.
