Sapphire's POV 💙

Eventually, I started to feel sleepy too as I was reading for a while.

I yawned a bit before marking the part I stopped at and quickly began putting them back in a secret spot quietly, hiding the BL mangas very well.

I double checked to see if I left any of my BL mangas behind before I smiled to myself.

"Looks like I got them all in there..." I thought to myself.

Then I stood up and stretched a little before heading upstairs and falling asleep in my bedroom.

~Sapphire's Dream~

I sighed in relaxation as I was at the beach.

The water was so pretty, clean, and solidly crystal clear.

But, what was strange is that no one was around. Not even Sonic's friends.

Sonic wasn't here either.

Just me.

I looked out into the open and stared at the ocean waves after noticing that the ocean was completely still.

Without thinking, I approached the ocean and stepped into the water.

My body was suddenly dragged down into it, making me feel terrified.

But, I can breathe underwater for some strange reason.

After I was pulled underwater, I noticed something shiny and swam down to investigate.

By the time I got to it, I picked up the shiny object and realized that it's a mirror. A very special and a pretty one too.

It looked really ancient.

Probably like a thousand years old.

I was suddenly brought back to the surface, along with the mirror, thanks to the ocean.

When I reached the surface, I dragged myself out of the ocean while I held on to the mirror.

Then I sighed as I stood up from the sand and got it off of me as I cleaned the mirror.

I smiled as I held the mirror up and looked at my reflection in it.

The mirror suddenly rippled and changed my reflection, revealing Sonic's instead.

Still in his werehog form and everything.

Something didn't feel right though.

Sonic looked like he was having trouble and in the middle of fighting someone.

I couldn't tell who was he fighting but the attacker had a gun in their hand.

I have a horrible feeling that the attacker might be Shadow, and something must've happened that's causing Shadow to fight Sonic.

Because Shadow is the only one who carried a gun when Sonic told me how he and everyone else met him.

As I watched, I suddenly grew horrified as the attacker knocked Sonic over and slammed him against the wall, causing Sonic to go unconscious after hitting his head against it.

Then the attacker approached Sonic's unconscious figure before pointing the gun at him.

I immediately knew what was gonna happen next after seeing that.

I dropped the mirror in the sand after quickly shutting my eyes and hearing a gunfire.

Tears ran down to the sides of my face as I started crying a little.

That mirror was revealing what's possibly gonna happen sooner or later, eventually resulting in Sonic's death.

After I stopped crying, I noticed the reflection in the mirror had shifted.

It was a different one this time.

In the mirror revealed Sonic lying on the ground, on top of a bunch of woody branches, seemingly to be weak.

He was badly wounded and both of his wrists had shackles on them. The chains were broken, to my surprise.

But, he's unconscious just like how he was previously.

I noticed broken skulls and bones were scattered in the background.

"What's going on? What's happened to him? And why am I seeing stuff like this?" I asked the mirror.

The mirror showed me something else too, revealing Sonic showing his strange behavior.

He was like how he was when he went berserk on me.
