Sapphire's POV 💙

I sighed a little before I sat on the bed sheet, moving Sonic over, and resting him on my lap.

I saw him smile a bit before he curled up into a ball.

I didn't know what else to do so I leaned against the tree and started stroking his head lightly.

"I never knew Sonic looked so cute and peaceful when he's asleep." I thought to myself as I gazed at him.

I chuckled a little before scratching him behind the ears after hearing him talking about me in his sleep.

Then I felt Sonic wrap his arms around my waist.

Right now, I feel like I'm his human teddy bear since Sonic was curled up into a ball and had his arms wrapped around my waist while sleeping on my lap.

After a few hours had passed, Sonic began to wake up.

"Mn?" He went as he stirred and began to open his eyes.

I looked over at him and smiled a little before helping him sit up.

"Did you get plenty of rest?" I asked.

Sonic nodded as he rubbed his eyes sleepily.

I quickly noticed that his eye colors were back to normal.

"What happened?" Sonic asked as he looked at me.

"When we were in the middle of training, you suddenly went berserk on me. I knocked you out with a dart gun that I brought along with me in case something like this were to happen." I explained.

Sonic grew horrified before he buried his face into his knees.

I sweat dropped a little.

"But, I'm okay! I didn't get hurt again or reopened any of the wounds that's on my left shoulder." I say, hoping to cheer him up a little.

Sonic didn't say anything and remained silent for a bit.

"Sonic..." I went before he suddenly stopped me.

"I'm sorry..." Sonic says.

"Huh?! What makes you say that?!?!" I went, looking at him in shock.

"...For everything. It's all my fault that I'm stuck as a werehog, hurted you, and went berserk. I should leave." Sonic mentions before he stood up.

"Wait!" I went before I quickly grabbed his hand.

Sonic's POV 💎

"It's not your fault, Sonic. All of what's happened isn't your fault.

I completely understand the pain that you're going through." Sapphire says as she looked at me in the eyes.

"I know it's not fun being a werehog sometimes...Even how painful it is when you transformed before we found out about what's happening to you. I understand that too.

I don't wanna be alone even though you and everyone else is with me and are by my side. I know you didn't deserve to be turned into a werehog.

It breaks my heart even more when you feel upset. Just...Please. Stay with me."

After Sapphire said that, she had tears in her eyes while she gripped on my hand a little bit tightly.

The look in her eyes were begging me not to leave her side.

They wanted me to stay.

Sapphire needs me with her.

I turned to face Sapphire before hugging her tightly.

"I'll stay by your side. Okay?" I say before I kissed her deeply on the lips.

"Okay. As long as I'm with you, I'll be happy." Sapphire replies once I parted from her lips.

I smiled before wiping the tears from her eyes as I pulled her close to my body.

Sapphire sighed a little as she rested her chin on my shoulder.

"I'm glad I met you when I was transported here." Sapphire says.

"Me too." I replied.

Then Sapphire laid down on my lap, making me chuckle a little bit.

"Are you hungry?" Sapphire asked as she looked at me.

I wasn't so sure if I am or not.

"I guess so." I replied.
