Sapphire's POV 💙

After I made that promise to Sonic, I kissed him on the cheek before looking at him again once I putted the first aid kit away.

My stomach growled a little, making me realize that Sonic and I hadn't eaten anything since we woke up.

I heard Sonic chuckling a bit as I blushed in embarrassment before turning to face him.

"Sounds like someone's hungry." He says, making my face turn redder.

"I-I'd say the same thing to you too." I replied. "You hadn't eaten anything either."

Then we walked out of the bathroom as I grabbed a clean t-shirt and putted it on, since the one I tossed in the dirty clothes basket had bloodstains and tears on it, before heading downstairs.

I obviously know what Sonic's gonna tell me if I asked him what he wants for breakfast.

I quickly learned from the get go that he really likes chili dogs after asking Tails, Knuckles, Cream, and Amy.

Everyone else out of the heroic gang had a different response when I asked them what's their favorite food.

But, as for Shadow...

He didn't tell me his favorite food and most likely has a tsundere personality.

I'm not really sure but he acts like it.

Not to mention that he quickly grows soft when he talks about someone named "Maria".

He's a hard one to read when it comes to figuring out what he's like by personality.

I shrugged as I went in the kitchen and started making breakfast after Sonic went in the living room and sat down on the couch.

Sonic's POV 💎

I looked over at Sapphire, as she was making breakfast, before I smiled.

"I'm glad Sapphire's here with me and everyone else. I probably wouldn't be the same without her." I thought to myself.

Then I suddenly heard her shriek before seeing her drop a bowl.

I quickly caught the bowl Sapphire dropped before putting it on the table.

"No! Don't put it on the table! There's a cockroach in that bowl!" Sapphire says, still freaked out.

I started laughing a bit at her reaction as I headed out the door, took the cockroach out of the bowl and putted it in the grass before seeing it run away from me.

"It's gone." I said as I went back inside and putted the bowl back on the table.

"Thank you! That cockroach scared the living daylights out of me." Sapphire replies.

"No problem." I replied before I started snickering, remembering the look on her face when she seen the cockroach.

Sapphire sweat dropped a little after seeing me snickering.

"That's not funny." She says.

"It is when I saw the look on your face. You're scared of bugs aren't you?" I teased her.

"Oh yeah?" She went.

Then Sapphire suddenly grabbed a bucket of water and almost got water on me if I hadn't dodged it.

"Uh-huh! Uh-huh! Scared of water, aren't you?!" Sapphire says before she started laughing.

"No, I'm not!" I lied.

"Then why'd you dodge it? If you weren't scared, you wouldn't have dodged it!" Sapphire says as she stated an obvious point.

I instantly went quiet after Sapphire roasted me.

"That's what I thought. You're scared of water. There's no point in denying that because Knuckles told me." Sapphire went before she resumed cooking breakfast.

"I'm gonna beat Knuckles up for this..." I thought to myself sarcastically.

I'm not really gonna beat him up.

It's just a figure of speech.

"Breakfast's almost ready, Sonic." Sapphire says as she turned to look at me again.

"Okay. Thanks." I replied before sitting at the table.

Sapphire chuckled a bit before she grabbed the bowl and a plate.

It didn't take long to realize that she already knows that I like chili dogs.
