Sonic's POV 💎

As we waited, Tails appeared and opened the door.

He quickly grew shocked, seeing me still in my werehog form while it's around daylight.

"Sonic? Is that you?" Tails asked.

I nodded.

"Yeah. It's him. He's the reason why we're here to see you for." Sapphire says as she looked at Tails worriedly.

"Of course! C'mon in." Tails replied before closing the door behind us after we entered.

Then we followed after Tails as he led us downstairs to the basement.

"What happened to Sonic? It's very unusual to see him in this form around daylight." Tails asked as we sat down.

After Tails asked, I felt Sapphire nudge me on the arm with her elbow, giving me the message to explain what happened to me last night.

-Shortly After The Explanation-

"And that's what happened..." I said before sighing.

When I was explaining what happened last night, I left out the part about what Sapphire and I did.

Tails sat there thinking for a bit before looking at us.

"Did you check the Chaos Emeralds to see if anything's happened to them that has to do with this situation?" Tails asked.

Then Sapphire brought out her bag and showed me and Tails the Chaos Emeralds.

"Everything seems to be normal because I don't see anything wrong with them." Sapphire says as she handed them to Tails for him to examine.

As Sapphire said, everything seems to be normal. The Chaos Emeralds still have their color and are glowing a bit as usual.

They weren't like the way they were when Eggman awakened Dark Gaia to bring about what he was planning.

"Huh...This is really weird. Everything's normal but Sonic's still in his werehog form around daylight instead of night." Tails says before he returned the Chaos Emeralds to Sapphire.

"But, I suppose I could do a scan of Sonic's DNA to see what's going on. It might explain everything and what I probably could do to revert him back to normal."

Then Tails got up and headed over to a station that looks like it's for DNA testing.

Sapphire's POV 💙

Me and Sonic followed after him and stood behind him until Tails turned to look at us after getting the machines and the computer up and running.

"All I need is a sample of Sonic's DNA. Surely you know how it works..." Tails says as he looked at Sonic.

Sonic nodded before he was given one of those thingies that you spit in so your DNA can be scanned and looked at.

Yeah, I know it's gross.

Shortly after that was done, Sonic handed it to Tails.

Then Tails went to work.

"This'll be a bit." Tails mentioned.

I nodded in understanding as me and Sonic sat down somewhere else.

"I have an idea on what we can do while Tails is looking at your DNA." I said as I looked at Sonic.

"What?" Sonic asked.

"How about we do a puzzle?" I suggested.

Sonic suddenly cringed a little after I said that.

Something tells me that he has a bad memory about what I said.

"Let's not. How about doing something else instead?" Sonic replies before making a suggestion.

"Okay. How about a card game?" I suggested.

"Sure." Sonic agreed.

Then I took out a deck of cards and scrambled them up before I laid them out.

I smiled and mentioned what card game that we're going to play.

Sonic started laughing after I told him.

"That's a really funny name for a card game like that. I love it." He says, making me chuckle.

"I'm glad you like it already." I said.

Then we got started.

Minutes later, Sonic beaten me in the card game.

I putted the cards up after Tails called us over to see him.
