Midnight POV

There he was Natsu dragneel staring at lucy and I as we jumped in front of him out of a different world.

"L-lucy?" he stuttered and I groaned. he looked furiously at me holding lucys limp shape and he lost it. He rushed at me and tried to throw a punch and I shielded Lucy and blocked with my body

"kugh-" I coughed and smirked at him "that your best shot Dragneel?"

"oh no im all Fired up now!" he jumped up and punched me to the floor. I felt giant bruises forming but I didn't care as long as I had lucy I was fine with whatever he threw at me and I felt brave enough to protect the love of my life.

"let Lucy go bastard!!" he screamed and punched me again and again.. I even felt some kicks but I stood my ground.

"lucy....wake up please" I whispered and held her tighter to my chest.

Lucy POV

"Lucy....wake up please" is what I heard whuile I was floating in this vortex with this girl who looked exactly like me but with black hair swirling with stars and her eyes were constantly changing colours.

I knew who she was....she was Lucy Valencia the girl who borrowed my body for her true love.

"Im sorry for stealing your body..." she looked sadly at me and I smiled

"its ok...But when you take my body again say hello next time" I joked and we smiled at each other laughing slightly. "Hey it looks like we should wake up hey?" I smiled and she smiled as well.

"Yeah we should shouldn't we?" she chuckled and I felt light engulf my vision as we hugged one final time.

I gasped as I opened my eyes and I felt like the world welcomed me into a big hug...I looked at my surroundings and the first thing I noticed was Midnight...his beautiful face was now bruised and battered up and his eyes were strained close.... that's when I heard the yelling of a certain Fire Dragon slayer yelling.

I ducked from under midnight and his eyes popped open but as he was about to say something his mouth shut close and I looked at his bruises.

"Lucy!!" I heard my name be called and I looked at the fire mage. He was alone and I recognized him and I felt cold fury burst into me.

"What do you want Natsu?" I spat with as much venom and he gulped

"I want you to get away from that criminal!" he shouted and my fury increased

"No I will not get away because he is my Lover!" I screamed at him and he had a shocked look on his face and he slapped me across the face.

"You are a slut....Just like Lissanna said..." and he walked away

how dare he!!! ugh whatever I sighed and went to midnight and helped him up.

"Are you okay?" I whispered to his ear and he smirked deviously at me

"So I'm your lover now am I?" he smirked and I felt my face go hot.

"W-what no.....maybe..." I looked away from him but he turned my head towards me and smashed his lips to mine. I felt sparks go off and I melted into the kiss until I realized that other people gathered around the damaged street.

"Lucy...?" I heard a voice and broke the kiss to turn and see Makarov Dreyar in a traveling cloak and his eyes twinkled.

"Gramps?" I questioned and he pulled his arms out for a hug and I knelt down and gave him the warmest hug I could muster and when I was finished his face was blue from suffocation.

"I see that you've returned with a boy I was hoping to see" he gestured to midnight and smiled "you love him yes?" he asked and I nodded looking at midnight with Love radiating from me

"Then I have nothing to worry about anymore....I can pass to the other side without any regret..." he sighed and I looked at him sadly

"Ill miss you a lot..." and by now Fresh Tears were rolling down my eyes as I cried and then Master started to glow a faint gold and I gasped, he was dissolving in front of my very eyes "Master... I love you, you were the best Father a Guild could wish for.." I started to cry harder and midnight held me in his arms.

"And you are the light of our world ill always watch over you but I wont say goodbye but a simple... Thank you Smile for me child" he smiled and I smiled with tears streaming as he faded into the sky and that was the day when Master Makarov of Fairytail passed away and I knew that we would meet again.
