Lucy POV

After Gramps death I wailed on the streets and midnight comforted me the best he could with everyone who witnessed the death were mourning.

"Shhh he's happy that you smiled right?" Midnight whispered but I could feel his tears as well

"Y-Yea....." I nodded and we made our way to crocus to see our guild Sabertooth and happy.

we walked into the silent guild and when we opened that door I saw a 4 flying figures

"LUUUCY!!!!" Yukino, Minerva, Happy and Sting .jumped on us and Rouge said hello to midnight.

I looked around and saw everyone crying tears of joy and started to get louder and getting the party started, banners of welcome back and my group of criminals came and welcomed us back while cobra and angel were trying to not cry.

"We are back Minna..." I smiled while crying and hugged everybody even the blonde haired idiot guild master. Later that afternoon everybody was partying and having fun, drinks were passed and we had to order more mugs because everybody was getting Drunk and being us, no restrictions at all....we were Free! I looked at midnight and held his hands and smiled, my head was only a little fuzzy and angel was perfectly fine and we danced the night away.

The door was blown apart and a piece hit Sting in the face but we didn't care.....we saw the Whole FairyTail guild (Except Gildarts Thunder tribe Exceeds and wendy) standing there with Lissanna and Natsu at front, she stood straight and pointed at me

"I challenge you Bitch to a Duel between Guilds!!!"

(wait....did she think that I was the master? How dumb is she?)

"Ahem... I'm the guild master stupid woman" Sting smirked and she looked Furious so Mad that she Transformed into a Cheetah and sprang at me.

I dodged and punched her in the stomach until I felt a hot fist slam me into the floor

I looked up and saw Natsu and I flipped up and took out my keys and remembered a spell me and other lucy often practiced.

(Let thy winds hear me)

"Heh weakling" he smirked and I whipped at him and saw my guild engaged in battle

(Water be At my command)

I slashed with my whip and summon all my spirits

(Earths lovely glory)

"W-What.." he stared at me and blew his flames at me

(Take fire and fire)

I dodged and sent my spirits on all FairyTail members

(The Heavans open up and strike at Thy Foe)

"ELEMENTAL GLORY!!!" I screamed and a huge magic circle appeared above and Rainbow lights struck down on all the Fairytail Members present leaving My sabertooth and criminals safe. I looked around and saw the other guild I once loved on the floor injured but not dead.

"Gomenasai FairyTail..." I prayed and helped them to our infirmary and left them in there while our healers were tending to them.

"Healer Persephone please tend to them" I summoned the goddess and she nodded

I walked to a guest bedroom with a sleeping Midnight and exhausted Racer. This was my true Family....They wont betray me or hurt me...and I wont let them be hurt because I love them.

"Lucy..." Midnight mumbled and I smiled pulling the covers over him and kissing him on his forehead and I walked down to talk to Yukino ad Angel.

"One Strawberry Milkshake please Yukino hi Angel!!!" I chirped happily ad Yukino handed my drink and I slurped on it and looked around at our broken guildhall which was repairing itself with Rufus's help.

"So Lucy...Care to explain your absence?" Angel wiggled her eyebrows at me and I started telling her of our 12 months apart

----After Explanation----

"well I missed you a lot and never do that again" she smiled and hugged me and I cried into her shoulder. I felt her hand stroking my hair in a motherly way and I hugged her harder.

"Ladies are you hugging without me?" I turned and saw obnoxious Sting smiling

"Why yes sir Sting" I did a fake courtesy gesture and we erupted into laughter

I hopped off the barstool and walked up to Midnights room and stroked his hair

"I never got to say this but.....I love you Midnight more than you ever know" I smiled and hugged his sleeping body and started to get up until I was shoved down and Midnight stole another kiss

"Why I love you more I think so and I couldn't wait to hear those 3 words escape your lips" he smiled warmly and I smiled, we walked out the guild hand in hand and got Flowers For Gramps and we honoured him at the back in the garden of the guild.

"In More Ways Than one.....We love you so much and watch over us and guide us through our lives" I bowed to Master Makarov's Grave with fresh tears and a smile.
