"Hello?" Bada answered since she was sitting the closest to the old phone. She wondered who would be calling on the hotel line.
All she heard was heavy breathing and what sounded like footsteps on the other end of the line, which did nothing but further increase her confusion.
"Hello?" She asked again. As she was about to set the receiver back on the phone, the strangled voice of a girl started speaking on the phone.
"Help me. Please. You have to help me before he gets here."
"What? Who are you? What's going on?" The girl asked as the six boys looked at her in confusion.
"Please. I don't have much time. He's coming. Find my room. Find room 327. All the information I collected is there. They'll try their best to stop you–" The person let out a painful grunt before continuing:
"They'll try to stop you from finding it but you must not give up. Please help me. You have to save me before they kill me too." The girl pleaded and there was a sudden scream, which made Bada go pale.
"Hello? Are you okay? Where are you? What do you want me to do? Hello?" Bada exclaimed in a hurry but it was too late. The line had been cut and all that could be heard was the dial tone. The distressed girl slammed the receiver back onto its stand and ran her hands through her already dishevelled hair.
The boys looked at her with concern, before Moon Bin finally spoke, causing Bada to look up at him with an expression that clearly showed her fear.
"What's wrong? Who was it?"
As she relayed the phone call to the six boys, she saw their faces change from concerned to shocked to absolutely horrified, making her feel even more fearful of what would happen to the person on the phone. She hoped the girl was still alive.
"We need to find this room 327. As soon as possible." Jinwoo declared making the other six nod hastily in agreement. Bada knew she would do anything to save the unknown girl and knew the six boys would also do the same. They were responsible for someone else's life now.
They decided after a short discussion to divide into three groups to look for the room. Bada decided to go with Jinwoo to the East Wing while Moon Bin and Minhyuk went to the West Wing and Eunwoo, Myungjun and Sanha explored the other parts of the hotel. They split up with the promise of meeting in Jinwoo's room in an hour.
As Bada and Jinwoo walked towards the East Wing of the big hotel, the girl let her mind wander. She thought about her normal her life had been just one day ago, or at least one day with respect to the hotel's time system. With a jolt, she realised that her family didn't know where she was. Her mother must be worried sick and her father must be making calls to all the people he knows for help. And her brother; oh god, her brother must be panicking and going around asking about her. She rubbed her forehead as she worried about whether her brother was coping and the older boy noticed her distress, looking at her in concern.
"Are you okay?" He asked with a small frown on his face as Bada looked up at him, snapping out of her thoughts.
"Yeah? Oh yeah, I'm fine. Just a bit concerned about my parents and my little brother Baram. They must be worried sick. My brother has always relied on me to listen to him and help him with his problems. I don't know if he's okay and that feels awful." She replied, looking at Jinwoo for a brief second before flickering her eyes back to the passing doors in the corridor.
"I know what you mean. I've been in this hotel for 15 years but I still feel just as worried about my parents and older brother as I did on the first day. My brother and I used to be inseperable. Every day I hope that he's okay, and I'm sure he wishes the same for me everyday too."
"I come from a very close knit family, you know? The four of us did everything together. I had never been without them before coming here. So being separated from them is pure torture, but it's what keeps me motivated to look for a way to get out. Channeling that agony into finding a solution to our problem is all I can do right now. It's all I could do all this time." He continued with a sad smile, and Bada felt her heart break at the sadness in his eyes.
"My point is that although I know I can't do anything to reduce your worries or make your family know that you're okay, but I'll always be there for you. So, any time you feel as if the pain is becoming unbearable, you can talk to me. I can be your substitute brother." He grinned at the last sentence, making her chuckle.
She suddenly stopped walking and pulled him into a hug, catching the older boy by surprise. But he hugged her back with a smile after he got over the surprise.
"Thank you." She said as she pulled away, giving him a genuine smile, teeth showing.
"I hope you know that you can come talk to me as well. I can be your substitute brother too." She joked, making him laugh.
He abruptly stopped laughing, however, when he looked at something behind her.
Bada turned around to look at the cause of Jinwoo's shocked gaze and felt herself freeze with fear and disbelief. There it was.
They had found room 327.

Did I just name the sibling duo 'sea' and 'wind'? Absolutely.
{Bada means Sea and Baram means Wind}
Dedicated to the ass who pestered me to post this so many times. You know who you are.
